This was probably the most helpful video Ive watched on this topic. Very helpful. My only concern with Discord is the small file sharing capability. I love everything else about it but the file size sharing limitation is a bummer because I will be sharing illustration files back and forth with students. I'm still leaning towards discord. Thinking on this a little more.
How about sclacks capability to show a calendar or tasks, I ve seen so many connections to slack, but not sure if its possible to something like that in slack. Discord has some bots to manage calendar or tasks but it is probably only good for advanced users... So is it possible to have tasks in slack?
My biggest complaint with Discord is the 2,000 character limit for text posts for FREE servers and users.... you either have to split the message up or send the a link or file containing the text.
