Had mine for a year and a half and it was fine. In March of this year it started developing bad stick drift in the right stick. Lifted them out, cleaned them and the contacts. Tried different PCs and games. Even bought new sticks but those also had drift after about a week (and the left new stick started drifting too!). Sent them all back under warranty. Was happy with them up until then, and generally frustrated that a controller that is supposed to solve that issue, hadn't.
Same… had mine for a while and it was great. Started getting crazy stick drift (in game menu would go crazy) bought new modules and the issue continued. Contacted warranty and they sent out a new controller (with one module)… hasn’t been 6 months and the stick drift is coming back.
@@Pops57 I tried a few hall effect sticks controllers. Including the 8bitdo Bluetooth ultimate, and the gamesir T4 kaleid. Ended up sticking with the kaleid because of the 1000hz polling rate and cheaper price (it is wired only though). Touch wood, so far no stick drift issues. Which should be very hard for a hall effect sticks controller to develop.
Thanks for the info. I had never heard about Hall effect sticks. Giving the T4 a shot since it is so cheap and has solid reviews. Sucks because the eswap is a neat concept but it just doesn’t hold up in my experience.
I was about to buy one of these but my whole reason is in the back buttons, I'm glad I can count on someone to review these things honestly and not just suck off the product in hopes for corporate reciprocity. I'll go back to languishing in the ES2 bestbuy warranty dungeon.
I’m not even gonna lie I’ve never even heard of this controller. However, if they could cut down on weight, size, and the paddles I would instantly buy this controller.
I've had mine for about 6 months and its amazing. Theres only a couple issues I feel and those are the back button placement/ overall size and I wish it had tactile triggers. Also the ps4 kontrol freaks "fit" on the thumb sticks.
Bought this controller a couple weeks ago to replace my well loved but aging Wolverine TE. First I bought a Wolverine Ultimate but returned it as I found the back buttons uncomfortable and the face buttons way too sensitive. I absolutely love the Thrustmaster so far though. This thing has the smoothest thumb sticks I’ve ever used, and the added height over most stock sticks is a nice bonus. Most reviews I watched before buying (including this one) were critical of the back buttons and so I was a bit worried when ordering it. My experience has been opposite to these reviews however. They’re in a great place for me personally, and my fingers naturally rest on the bottom ones when holding the controller naturally. I’ve had no issues with wrong inputs or feeling strained reaching any of the back buttons in game. Much prefer them to the Wolverine Ultimate style paddles. Only thing I switched was flipping the mapping. Don’t be scared of this just based on the back buttons, it’s got a lot to offer and it may end working out for you like it did for me!
In my opinion this is legit the best controller out there on the market, I'm just in love with it ever since I switched from a PowerA Spectra (wich don't get me wrong, was amzeballs considering all the years before I used a regular 360 controller, but still, throughout both switches it proportionally got better). I'm not that much of a gamer, although I have played a decent amount of Rocket League for 5 years (around 3k+ hours I believe), the game is really intense on the left stick at a certain level, (also the buttons but mainly the joystick), so after buying so many controllers which gave up too quickly, I got fed up and finally decided to make the switch. With the Eswap, sticks are buttery smooth, and waaaay more precise, like you can just tell in my case and many others (shout out Rocket science) the finish on it is also a wonderful touch (leather like surface with doesn't get dirty with your thumb skin residues and also is really comfy and resistant/durable). Don't even get me started on the buttons, if yo boy Cuda preached them, you already know they're the real deal (the all time best period, the tactility makes you aware about each and every input, no way you double click by accident like with a membrane one if it's rubber wears out, you just know if you pressed and actuated it or not) Build quality is flawless, size is perfect for me (luckily my big slander hands naturally rest on the back buttons even when I had to get used to the controller) All the features, the practicability, the build quality, the way it delivers flawlessly with such precision, it's just a step up and a more premium experience compared to many many many other controllers that sometimes are even more expensive. Hats up to Thrustmaster man, what a controller....
@@coltfrazier6563 bit of a late comment but I've used this controller for like 3 months now, and I've had to change the modules recently due to stick drift. BUT that's only because I play with max sens and only 1%/2% deadzone so it will probably last a lot longer for you. Hope this helps 😄
@@Mykure_ Preciate it! I play a lot of rocket league and boy oh boy is that game hard on the thumb sticks 🤣 about a month in with no issues! loving it so far
@@coltfrazier6563 Hey, mind giving me an update on the status? In case you even see this ofc. I play RL too, got this controller after like 3k hours specifically because of all the positive and amazing reviews regarding the sticks because I couldn't stand getting drift after like just a couple of months on DS4 even tho I bought a completely new one for RL. So thrustmaster was working as intended and when it does it's honestly by far the best controller on the market and _it's not even close._ But problems started happening literally just 3 months or os afterwards. Slight drift. Aight, fine. Shouldn't be happening according to an overwhelming majority of reviers and Thrustmaster themselves but it really doesn't matter as long as it doesn't go over 5% or the famous 0.05 setting in RL. But after a couple of months it went over it. Tweaked around a bit in the software but after a while it started going well over 10% which is really as high as I'd like to go. I can _maybe_ tolerate going up to 15, maybe 18ish if I really feel like playing but that feels really uncomfortable and I'm not playing to the best of my ability at all. Anything above 0.8 and it really starts to mess with my mental after a while. Ok, well, I've got 2 mini sticks, the obvious thing is to try out the other one. Now this one, same problems after approximately the same amount of time, maybe a month or two more. Now this one didn't get bad as hard as the first one (the first one literally has spams up to 70% rn which is absolutely unacceptable and unplayable), it peaks at like 15-20 stick drift, on some days when i use it a lot for some reason it can even be less than 10% which is cool but _another dreadful_ problem started occuring. The stick doesn't register I'm pulling all the way on some really specific directions. And that direction is straight down. I pull it all the way and can see in the software that it's only going as far as 50% so my fast aerials and take offs started getting absolutely atrocious. Speedfilps are a no-go too. Ordered a new mini stick right now, a single one because I'm kind of light on money and because I wanna test how long this one lasts. I play daily and was so hyped for a while after getting this controller but I'm starting to look at it as a really expensive mistake if these problems keep on occuring.
@@Stick1Master I've had a good experience so far, got a good 6 months out of my first set with .07 deadzone in game and default deadzone in the software. I use the shorter NXG's on the ESWAP S. I will give a more in depth "review" later, I'm at work but will respond with more later! Peace.
Ordered one few days ago and returned after just opening the box and trying the bottom buttons...i would like to have a discussion with who had that "marvelous" idea 😆 for now, despite its little problems, i stick with my elite series 2, that has, imho, the best bottom buttons/paddles design
The changing of the stick module for the thrustmaster reminds me of replacing a keyboards mechanical switch just to fix the annoying double input press.
Great video. Also remember how way back when, on an old stream you did, I told you I was on a laptop that averaged 95 degrees? Finally got a PC yesterday.
@@vCuda thanks, but I'm still waiting for it to arrive. For some reason, a pre built with a 3070 and water cooling is cheaper RN than a home built with a 3060, air cooling, and shit motherboard. I'll update you when it arrives, but given the specs, it should be pretty nice.
I got this controller about a month ago after seeing it on ur desk in a video. My series 2 was already broken so I saw a couple reviews of the controller and I decided to buy it. Overall its a great controller but I don't like how the pause button and the other middle buttons are on the edge of the middle. I have to awkwardly extend my thumb to try and pull up the map in games. I also agree with the back buttons being positioned in a very weird spot. But these r just small things in my opinion. I don't know how I never heard of this controller. It's top notch!!
@@CitiesOfAsh Personally, I never really care about thumbstick tension because I still wreck no matter how strong the tension is. The tension in my opinion is good, its average.
Cuda stop trippin bro! This video is just as funny as all of the ones I've seen! Your a funny guy! Whoever can't see that, don't know what funny is! You know your grandmother buggin with us when she looks at your channel with us. Just keep doing what you do bro!
Hi vCuda, I'm glad I saw your Thrustmaster review. I wanted to ask you where did you get that information on the accuracy of analogs compared to other controllers. Very interesting and confirms my feeling that Thrustmaster's analogs are the most accurate I've ever tried to date. On the other hand, I don't agree on the rear keys, I feel very comfortable with them and I don't have big hands. In my opinion it is a very subjective aspect. It counts that I love those keys precisely because, not being as big as the paddles of the elite 2, I can use all 4 of them. It is difficult in my opinion to find a controller where you can use all the 4 rear buttons / paddles, and in my opinion in this thrusmaster is right to continue on this path. But then again, it's all fucking subjective :). Congratulations on the video. PS I received the Scuf instinct pro for xbox a few days ago. Did you see what gem they used for the "triggers"?
The info came from a video I linked which was made by RocketScience. It's quite a nice video, but I don't remember what it was called 9ff the top of my head, but it's linked in that Review. And no, I'm not sure what you mean when you've referenced the Instinct, what's up?
@@vCuda Thanks vCuda, I saw the link to the Rocket video, it's really interesting. Scuf has done something unique for now. Triggers transform from classic analog input with normal controller travel to digital input via ultra short stroke switches. I assure you that this characteristic is crazy;)
Just came across this controller in a recommendation by a streamer. I figured you had done a review on it. I agree that the back button placement his horrible. Recently tried trying out the Scuf paddles for my Elite Series 2 controller and it changed my finger placement in such a bad way that my wrists started hurting bad. So I'm sure this controller would permanently mess up my wrists.
Man. I agree with this so heavily its kind of ridiculous. I have owned the Eswap AND Eswap Pro X now for around 6 months and have developed what can only be described as an abusive relationship with this controller. Despite its god forsaken TERRIBLE back buttons and its almost vertical skewed grip that makes it very awkward to handle I have found myself reluctantly going back to this controller again and again. Purely for its insanely accurate NX5 sticks which have proven to be utterly game changing for my usage (Rocket League) I BELIEVE this has something to do with the software, drivers, and actual hardware chips under each thumbstick board working in unison (someone correct me if I am wrong as this speculation from trial and error and damaging many boards with my poor soldering skills) They to me seem leaps and bounds ahead of the standard ALPS modules used in almost every other controller so much so that I am currently in the process of rewiring my original Eswap (Ps4 model) to a diy Battle-Beaver-ish style. Granted I have sacrificed the rumble motors to achieve this but I tell you it has been so incredibly worth it. Dear Thrustmaster putting 4 inaccessible buttons on your controller is far worse than having 2 usable ones. Sincerely literally Everyone. And sorry to make a long comment even longer but hooooly shit am I the only one that couldn't stand the extremely loud hollow click of the shoulder buttons?? This obviously will vary depending on game and use case but in Rocket League L1/R1 are two of my most used buttons specifically R1 being pressed rapidly to control boost usage. This was easily remedied by replacing them with the same yet much quieter momentary tactile switches the Xbox controllers use but again the customer should not have to re-make /re-solder your product Thrustmaster! Ahhhh. I feel better.
I've tried all the rest, but this one is by far the best! My opinion of course. You can fine tune the sticks with a simple app download to the console. You have no clue what your missing until you are shown. Old school Socom gamer here. To big? It's a fucking solid controller that you can literally program the sensitivity via console app. The best controller to ever hit console. I like the button lay out on the back cause I don't hit them accidentally. I have med hands and have zero issue pressing them. Anyhow...
Hey I'm really interested in your fix for the bumpers. I love this controller but the bumpers ruin it for me. Care to share more about how/what you did?
@@MrGren-hq8yw Hey there sorry for the late reply, so I assume you're talking about the stock LB - RB / L1-R1. For that its as simple as removing the magnetic side panels and 3 modules. (2x thumbsticks and D-pad) Then take something sharp, I used a pair of tweezers. Pull out the 7 black rubber pieces covering the screws. Remove screws and back shell, it should come apart pretty easily, then remove the 2 flat-ish screws holding on the bottom buttons by the audio jack. This should let you remove the board and from there its as simple as replacing the 2 through hole switches near the top of the board by the micro usb port, assuming you can solder its a super easy replacement, if not this its a great first soldering task to learn on. Personally I purchased the replacements from amazon that'll run you around $8 for 10 of them. (Amazon Search: xbox bumper buttons switches) They should have white buttons and be the 2nd or 3rd result. Also I had to sand the actual white part of the button down ~1-2 mm as it sat slightly more proud than the stock buttons. These buttons though are MUCH more quiet and have been a great quality of life modification. Let me know if this was helpful!
basically if you claw this controller it is the ultimate controller. But if you need to reach the bottom buttons its not ideal. I recommend putting the sticks in the PlayStation configuration then mapping your d pad buttons to your face buttons. if your comfortable trying to claw with your left hand. you can aim with your right and use the left claw to hit face buttons and move. If you already own this controller and are struggling with the bottom buttons try this. Hope it helps
you didnt mention something very important- ive had mine for about a year or 2 and it started developing stick drift, but not the slight nudge left or right, but a random force applied whenever i move it, to the point it became unusable. usually id take the sticks out and blow them out like an nes game, which worked, but now it doesnt. ive cleaning the sticks and the ports, but it doesnt work and in my country 20 american dollars is quite a lot of money to drop for a replacement that will be used seldom in 2 years and then break. personally i like the size, the back buttons ive turned off but everything else im happy with, especially the click sound on the non analog buttons
Yo! first off, great video!... i have been using the Wolverine TE for awhile now and love it, but they just recently stopped producing it and came out with a pile of trash... i have already purchased one of these. i have smaller hand due to being short AF... are the paddles completely unreachable? gonna be upset if they are! the thing i loved about the wolverine TE was the placement of the paddles vs the ultimate edition.
Just because you're smaller doesn't necessarily mean that you won't be able to reach those buttons. You'll just have to buy it and try it out, but be warned, they'll take time to get adjusted to! Once you do, you'll be an absolute God. I use all 6 buttons on my Wolverine meaning I don't have to use my ABXY Buttons or any other bind I want. It's a dream!
Update: got it in yesterday and I gotta say, the accuracy on the joysticks are amazing! Noticeably improved gameplay! The only things I would change is the size of the controller (thing is massive)... the location of the buttons on the back, as I have to adjust my grip on the handholds to reach them... and why tf is the d-pad not programmable? I usually program my paddles to the dpad to get extra bindings on PC, as I dont need the dpad.

I got my Tournament edition like a week ago and I'm already playing way better, fuck ton of acurracy and the extra buttons are genius, they feel so natural, like thats the way all controllers should be tbh...
Yup, outside of the size of this thing and the fact that the back buttons are ''meh'' in terms of placement it's nearly the perfect featureset. If you get this Eswap X Pro, with Elite's back paddles and manage to get it wireless... well... That's a pad I'd pay 200+ for. But *only* for that featureset. C'mon now Thrustmaster: Make it 1 size smaller, gief back PADDLES instead of these central mini back buttons and you're done. Well if you make it wireless than *everyone* will buy it.
I'm using the eSwap Pro, not the X Pro, so it's a different controller but should not be by that much. The issue I had when I bought the controller was... that the joystick modules all started to get INSANE stickdrift after mere weeks. Ordered two more sticks later down the line. Same issue. I'm also barely seeing this issue pop up for the eSwap Pro controllers, which really confuses me. Did I really have such bad luck? I'm tempted to get some NXG stick and see if this is any different, but with the money I have already spent on the controller and modules, with none of them working properly, it kind of demotivates me... I'm giving up on the controller if the NXG modules don't hold out...
@@quidaccidit1107 from what I have seen, even the slightest specks of dust will cause stick drift, even in the newer gen joysticks. I used the NXG for a few weeks and I dare say they were perfect. Yet after not having used the eSwap Pro for a couple of weeks, when I came back to it, the stickdrift was back and as blatant and painful as ever. I’m going to assume that the stickdrift will not be an issue after I have taken apart and cleaned the joysticks properly, but it’s such a hassle… In my personal opinion, you’re better off getting a Dualshock or an Xbox controller. Every single Dualshock controller I’ve used has lasted me at least a year, playing heavily competitive titles. In the long run I genuinely think you might be better off just buying one of those every year (or more/less, depending on the stress that it’s being put under), instead of buying new joysticks for this controller again and again… and again…
@@fixionrl How do you clean yours, I've used 91% alcohol in the past. I wonder if a good option would be to just seal the cracks around the joystick. Also what do you mean by NXG sticks?
These large companies need to look at why custom controller companies exist. They either listen to their customers feedback or started it because they are sick of large game companies having no idea where to position back button/paddles.
To anyone who clicked on this video hoping for a solution for this issue, as the title suggests, but this guy doesn't tell you. Here is the actual solution. A lot of people, myself included, buy this controller and just plug & play, it works fine, happy days, and nobody has time for all that Thrustmapper geeky sht. And there is the problem, it works ok for a couple of months, and then suddenly starts crpping out, especially if you're using the steering wheel module where it starts janking you over to the right every 5 seconds. Sooo what you do is you take the time to download the Thrustmapper program, let it install and do it's thing. Then restart your computer, open the program, and update the Firmware and/or Drivers, this should solve the drift issue. It may not be perfect, you might still have an occasional wobble, these things are designed to be an endless money pit, but it should atleast be useable and if you only have to buy a new module once a year vice four times a year, then it's money saved. Hope this helps some of you, peace.
Well with most other controllers when the stick drift happens you pretty much just have to throw away the whole controller right. I mean the best way would be to learn how to fix the stick drift yourself and just replace the module but most of us don't know how to do that.
I think they are still much more cringe than other back buttons because you still usually gotta stretch your fingers out to use em which is uncomfortable, you want easy acess.
What would you say is the most reliable controller would it be this one since no matter what controllers are gonna fail and you gonna have to repair or replace ?
I love this controller and the size and back button placement fit my hands perfectly. My only issue is iv ran through 2 sets of thumb sticks in one year. I play almost everyday but it’s my hobbie not a job. No way my use is that hard on the controller. I have went through 2 scuffs 2 elites and 2 battle beavers which lasted like 3 months to 5 months so overall it still has lasted longer then those so that’s why I continue to use it.
I love this controller so far. I've owned 1 EliteV1(right button and grips failed, 3x Elite V2 (all returned non responsive A button, stick drift) and ESwap X. I prefer the ESwap S over the X because it's slightly smaller and the buttons are so much better. My only real complaint is (unless I've totally missed it) when I reprogram stick buttons to the back buttons I cannot disable said button. Main reason I wanted this was I wanted to disable the stick buttons (ESwap X is guilty of this as well). I occasionally click the RSB when playing FPS, when clicked it puts you into the melee animation and lol, I die. Unfortunately I've found no method of disabling the stick button thru the Thrustmaster app or the Xbox controller app in settings. I can change the stick button to other functions (d-pad buttons, etc) but that causes their own issues. I've learned to live with it but still hoping this function will be released at some point. If it ever does, I'd give it a 10.
I have a love hate relationship with this controller. I honestly don't mind how big it's. But there are times when I play like a god with it and times I feel like I have never played the game before. Most of the I usually just play medicore all the time. But there are huge highs and huge lows with this one. It's weird. I think it's the thumbstick height that throws me off.
Oh I remember the days when you put the video cassette in the vhs and it would make a fucked noise and for some reason the tape gets fucked and you have to rewind it back up, or somehow you could tape another video over the original video
Hi, controller noob here, I'm tired of stick drifts and I was looking at this controller. What are the 4 buttons used for in the back? You seem to make a big deal about it but you didn't explain what they are and why they are necessary to be accessible. The shitty controller I use right now doesn't have these buttons at all so I have no idea what they are used for.
For me Those "accurate" Thumbsticks broke after only 2 months of playing Rocket League. They had one of the most insane Stick Drift i have ever seen (I got a PS5 Controller and it worked for a lot longer then that controller). The Bumper and The A Button broke off after also only 2 Months maybe a bit more/less. Atleast they gave me free replacement for those parts, but after 2 months stick drift? But apart from that its a pretty good controller.
Have you ever reviewed the ps4 back button attachment??? I play Warzone on ps4 and I want to be able to slide cancel, drop shot, and jump shot without lifting my thumb off and messing my aim up.
vcuda i know you hate the PlayStation controllers but will you do the ps4 controller with the back paddles attachment is like a cheap free pro controller ?
I have the ps4 version. The sticks had drift very soon after I started using the controller. I replaced them a few times and they never lasted more than a few weeks before getting drift. Then I ordered a few sticks made for this model and they are still like new out of the box, no stick drift at all, and it's been a few months now.
I mean size and weight (I mean in like controller terms not like actually stupid 5 pound controller stuff) isn’t bad in my opinion, it gives a more secure feeling tbh. Just my opinion though, and plus I have large hands soo I bigger controller is better
Impossible to play 2K23 with this controller. The analog sticks keep getting loose and I am not even playing that hard. Great for COD though. I dont have that problem with COD or any other game for whatever reason.
Yeah my ps4 controller I bought brand new got stick drift in the left side after only using it for half a year and the game I kinda blame for ruining my stick is warzone since I'm constantly pushing it down to run away and spamming it to try and tac sprint 😂😂

I prob bought 7 thrustmaster controllers and got stick drift on each of them after 3 months so Idk how good it really is but am only used to it so Idk What to do buy a new one each time or find a way to fix it
I have one question, the mini stick modules or the joysticks they degrade in a short period of time( I have a eswap pro controller PS4 and pC), meaning that they have some deviations when you are playing, is still playable but if I want to change them can I convine them with the most recent sticks that in theory are for the eswap x por controller , in short words can I use the sticks that are meant to the xbox eswap to the ps4 eswap???
Yes I saw in another youtube comment on another video that you can use any of their sticks including the Xbox ones on the PS4 controller. Btw Im getting this next week do you think its worth it? and most importantly how is the stick drift after long use?

Do you think you could link me to a place where you buy the sticks from please?
I'm a little confused about the flexibility of the sticks. Do they sell them in different heights? Do you get a selection of sticks with the controller? Do they work with control freaks?
Like the majority of pro controllers, this comes with the concave and convex sticks that we're shown in thsi video. And they do work with kontrolfreeks fortunately
it accelerates stick drift by creating more friction between the components. This generates dust from the plastics & metals in the alps modules, which can and will cause stick drift
I have the PS-version of this controller and the thumbsticks only last a few weeks before you get stick drift. It is a great controller but the material they use for the modules are cheaper than Happy Meal-toys so you will have to buy new modules eventually. I open up and clean the modules as well and change the deadzone but it only helps temporarily. Maybe they fixed it on the Xbox-controller, I am on Xbox now but I will never buy thrustmaster again.
I have this eSwap controller for Xbox and when I try to use the Razer Kaira Pro headset, the microphone doesn’t work when trying to play games. Not only can I not hear others, they can’t hear me. Anyone know how to troubleshoot this?
I bought this controller, it is good but I did get stick drift quite early. Opening the controller to clean is quite easy though which can help with the stickdrift. Really good for the "low" price.
I just found out last week you can overclock your controllers input lag to .1 ms instead if the factory default of .5 ms & shitttttt it makes a huge difference, you'll notice it right away. I'm still using a normal Xbox controller, learning how to tap strafe is a bit hard without paddles but trust you can dance around M+KB players in Apex Legends

That is my biggest concern for it. That and not having the instant trigger that scuf has.

Thanks man ❤
Ay! Your almost at 40k! Congratulations of the success from the past year and a bit!
Thank you so much man!
Don't even get me started on the buttons, if yo boy Cuda preached them, you already know they're the real deal (the all time best period, the tactility makes you aware about each and every input, no way you double click by accident like with a membrane one if it's rubber wears out, you just know if you pressed and actuated it or not)
Build quality is flawless, size is perfect for me (luckily my big slander hands naturally rest on the back buttons even when I had to get used to the controller)
All the features, the practicability, the build quality, the way it delivers flawlessly with such precision, it's just a step up and a more premium experience compared to many many many other controllers that sometimes are even more expensive.
Hats up to Thrustmaster man, what a controller....
How well has the controller held up? Replace the sticks at all?
Peace.

I've been binge watching all of your videos. They are so entertaining! Have you ever thought about streaming?
Hi vCuda,
I'm glad I saw your Thrustmaster review.
@@vCuda Thanks vCuda,
I saw the link to the Rocket video, it's really interesting.
Just stumbled across your channel in the TH-cam rabbit hole, digging the style and thanks for the cool info. Peace and kfc gravy ✌️
I’m sorry for you loss bro I loss my grandma last year and it hurts bad but keep yo head up bro

Great review, I actually made it through the entire video because it wasn’t boring 👏
you didnt mention something very important- ive had mine for about a year or 2 and it started developing stick drift, but not the slight nudge left or right, but a random force applied whenever i move it, to the point it became unusable. usually id take the sticks out and blow them out like an nes game, which worked, but now it doesnt. ive cleaning the sticks and the ports, but it doesnt work and in my country 20 american dollars is quite a lot of money to drop for a replacement that will be used seldom in 2 years and then break. personally i like the size, the back buttons ive turned off but everything else im happy with, especially the click sound on the non analog buttons
Yo! first off, great video!... i have been using the Wolverine TE for awhile now and love it, but they just recently stopped producing it and came out with a pile of trash... i have already purchased one of these. i have smaller hand due to being short AF... are the paddles completely unreachable? gonna be upset if they are! the thing i loved about the wolverine TE was the placement of the paddles vs the ultimate edition.

C'mon now Thrustmaster:
Make it 1 size smaller, gief back PADDLES instead of these central mini back buttons and you're done. Well if you make it wireless than *everyone* will buy it.
Loved the video. Do you think the buttons in the back are better than the ps4 back button attachment?
Did you have further issues? I've had 2 with the same stick issue.
I’m going to assume that the stickdrift will not be an issue after I have taken apart and cleaned the joysticks properly, but it’s such a hassle…
In my personal opinion, you’re better off getting a Dualshock or an Xbox controller.

I now want to see vCuda play Splitgate with each controller as a testing ground to see how effective each are.
These large companies need to look at why custom controller companies exist.
They either listen to their customers feedback or started it because they are sick of large game companies having no idea where to position back button/paddles.
Did you get any KontrolFreeks to fit on these? I tried my Xbox ones but couldn’t get em to sit flush. Hope all is well man! Great review!
Thanks man! And yeah, PS4/PS5 KF work perfectly
The back buttons are only supposed to be pressed by your middle fingers. That’s why they are so close together 🤦🏽♂️ Other than that…. Great review 👏

My only real complaint is (unless I've totally missed it) when I reprogram stick buttons to the back buttons I cannot disable said button.

@@vCuda Thank you for the reply. Excellent content, man. And my thoughts go out to you and your family.
@@matthewmead5181 im glad I could help. And thank you man, its much appreciated
Which is the best Xbox controller ?
Eswap x pro or wolverine tournament edition?
Pls I want to buy one asap
Hey cuda, does the L3 / R3 function loosen sticks / make stick drift or is that cap?
it accelerates stick drift by creating more friction between the components. This generates dust from the plastics & metals in the alps modules, which can and will cause stick drift
Subscribed just for Nana! R.I.P.
and you bud,
Thanks man ❤
i just dont like the small back buttons.
Maybe they fixed it on the Xbox-controller, I am on Xbox now but I will never buy thrustmaster again.
any advice... Kinda lost faith on all controller out there

@@xXKasper2007Xx for xbox? PowerA Fusion Pro I use now, never had any stick drift. There is Version 2 as well but never tried that.
@@timothywedel3648 for Playstation
@@xXKasper2007Xx cant help you on that one, there is a PowerA Fusion controller for Playstation but it seems hard to find
They make wired controllers heavy and large because consumers think weight = quality. I have hard this from my friends a few times. Sadly
I have this eSwap controller for Xbox and when I try to use the Razer Kaira Pro headset, the microphone doesn’t work when trying to play games. Not only can I not hear others, they can’t hear me. Anyone know how to troubleshoot this?
I prefer a heavy controller. I'm weird like that.
I really would love to know your opinion about the "turtle beach recon control" I think is the only control u still has not talked about
I bought this controller, it is good but I did get stick drift quite early.
How do you do that ?
Just purchased gonna try them if they ass I'll send them back to Amazon. My current stick drift is .11 😪. Sub also blessing to you and ya family. Keep grinding she wants to see you shine. 👌🏾
