Totally out of this world. Radiohead are true true artists. Not many left in the industry. A few others are most likely PJ Harvey, Tricky, Bjork, Portishead, Massive Attack, Gary Numan, Aphex Twin, Ian Brown, The XX, Scroobius Pip, AllFlaws
Sooooooooo amazing. Was disappointed to be one of the only ones in my area of the crowd to be singing along to the TKOL songs but so fucking what I guess, just can't believe I got to be one of the first people to hear these incredible songs live, it was worth missing other bands just to get to see them Some people may not like TKOL but personally I think its a masterpiece.
I spent the whole day at the pyramid had to cos it was me first glasto aged 43 and a massive U2 fan so at the front rail for that,first time seeing this and to be honest after being to every glasto since i'd choose the park over the pyramid thesedays!!! do love glasto a shame it took me that long to get there
@agios78 Hahaha I was waiting for someone else to notice that too and write that. It seems right at 5:01 when the single synth note finally hits nice and loud, you can see Thom's face, he gets all smiley and happy, and from then till the end of the song he nailed it vocally.
Screw The King of Limbs haters, the audience reaction to Thom announcing them playing TKoL material and their singing to this song (even helping Thom find his place once he returns to the mic!) have just rocketed this song into the echelon of instant live classics, technical flubs be damned.
@TheLeocure92 Oh. I think he wanted to put the delay effects on his voice for that higlight sorta part. It wasn't coming in so he probably cued the mixer.
Radiohead said they didn't want the BBC filming their performance because they wanted it to be "a special live experience" for the fans that showed up, but I'd bet they just didn't want the first time they played TKOL stuff in front of a crowd to be on live TV because they knew there'd be some kinks to work out. I wish they did broadcast it though. It was clearly a great show, even if they still haven't quite figured out how to do TKOL live yet.
You forgot to mention "Arcade Fire" "The National" "Tv on the Radio" "Muse (their guitar riffs and beats are superb)" "Elbow" "Janelle Monae" "Tom Waits" "Gillian Welch" "Feist" "Bon Iver" "Rufus Wainwright" "Spiritualized" .... Just fruit for head ... think about this and try to listen GREAT MUSIC!!!!
whats wrong with him? i didnt notice something wrong!! the mic was weak or thom listened himself wrong, sorry for my bad english, anyway i love this performance!!! :D
So funny to see them struggling with the song... Jonny's moog coming in totally out of tune, then monitor problems... And still a great performance. They are masters in their craft.
seeings this makes me think that maybe it actually is possible to be bored at a Radiohead show...At least I would be while watching them playing this song. it just does not sound good!maybe they will figure it out somehow, I hope so...
@Protos1378Angelus Dude...arcade fire are you actually joking? It's meaningless pop crap...the only person you mentioned worthy of being compared to Radiohead is Waits.

That moment when you fuck up the key of your part in the chorus during your band's first live performance of a new album. Lqtm

does anyone know what those things are that are lined up at the front of the stage? is that a type of amp or something??
Sometimes it is good to relax. You need to find a good outlet for that negative energy. Like Masturbation.
hahaha jizzlobber
@Protos1378Angelus I mean i love Radiohead so don't get me wrong, UDINE,Italy I am coming
@Protos1378Angelus You both forgot Sigur Rós ;) Impressive list nonetheless though.
@kassylion also billy corgan...........
That was a bit of a mess. Has potential, they need to work on it some more. I suggest more live shows, in America!!!
Colin saves!
I think Thom came in late at like 2:40. Listen to the bass. But more importantly they killed it otherwise.
@kassylion robin pecknold
Why didn't they play Codex? =*(
@kassylion Take out Ian Brown and The XX and you may be correct.
sucks that the bbc couldn't film this
@TheKGamer08
jonny is very handsome
So funny to see them struggling with the song... Jonny's moog coming in totally out of tune, then monitor problems... And still a great performance. They are masters in their craft.
