It really depends on what I'm doing. I've put hundreds of inserts into the small lawnmower engines I had in my Small Engine Repair class. Most of them held just fine, but there were a few spots that would lose inserts every so often. I've used locktite in those situations and that solved the problem. Normally, I don't think it would be an issue- you don't usually take a bolt out and put it back in hundreds of times. And... with a middle school kid running the wrench, there's never any guarantee that they listened to your instructions and are going to do things right!

Do you have a easy fix for motor stud that stripped?
The stud itself is stripped? Or the hole the stud threads into?
