Ford Gran Torino 1973 (Splendour in HD)

This one is for all the Gran Torino owners and admirers out there. The slideshow is all about the 73 Sport FastBack model which is one of the great American muscle car. I love the large muscular hips and the fastback with its rear window being almost horizontal. Enjoy the ride, make sure you watch in HD and spread the 2 words...Gran Torino. Great video. I had a '73 Gran Torino Salon top, white over red, while in college. An eye-popping car. Gave it up for marriage and kids, but would have happily traded the wife back for the car. The kids, well, not so much. They are keepers.

My 73 I've had to travel all over here in the southwest and on line to find parts been lucky to find some still trying to find the latchpillar seals like the 72 gran torino we've got a one of a kind of the Gran Torinos.

I had a 1973 torino with a GT interior .Bought it from original owner in 1985 for 950.00 with 32,950 original miles .It brought back memories to hear a 1980s song playing with the video .Kept it for 6 years .

I agree the 72 front looks racier than the 73... The grille itself isn't that bad - it's the damn 5mph bumper i despise... But i'd def walk the extra mile to find one WiTHOUT the vinyl roof...!
