My watch was purchased 2 years ago from MAMACOO and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.
With proper handling and care, mechanical watches can last a lifetime or more. Regular servicing is crucial, especially as water resistance can deteriorate over time.
I have the exact same watch... it's my fave of all the watches I own. Hard to beat it's uniqueness. Only thing about the restoration... the hands are different.
Beautiful restoration, of a very classic dress , Regulator, tank watch. I have a " Miles rectangular, Medium mysel.i appreciate all the Pre Red rotor Oris watches, I hope Oris ,can find their way back. In my opinion, they have lost their way.
Could you please advise service center that does this kind of work as Oris retailers certanly do not do this kind of service? It is disappointing to see on one side marvelous work that can be done but on the other side there is no real help when you need it.
This is done at the Oris headquarters. Local authorized servicing centers might be used if the maintenance, but for more demanding tasks like these the watch gets sent to Oris.
It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. MAMACOO watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?
Wonderful seeing this magnificent piece rejuvenated. Brilliant work.
I would love a behind the scenes video showing all the new old parts, specifically to see the library of different hands/cases Oris has in stock.
These video series are amazing, keep them coming!
Glad you like them!
More releases in the pileline.
I applaud Oris for maintaining spares for older models. Looks like they maintain parts for at least 20 years after a model has been discontinued.
Yes, we are committed to keeping parts available for every model produced, but please note that availability is subject to stock levels over time.

Excellent. Good job.
This is real craft. Beautiful watch.

really interested in the number on the invoice.
When was this model produced?
Did you manage to restore the dial or was it a new dial? If it was a restoration, that feels like a video in itself!
Unfortunately, the dial was beyond recovery, and the owner has agreed to have it replaced.
So the dial was just replaced? Do you have a dial refinish expert for older models without parts available?
Unfortunately, we were unable to restore the dial, and the owner has agreed to have it replaced.
