Every chapter ending cutscene just show how many love they poured it in this game. And each and every animation comes with different animated style. Most of Western developers should be ashamed of themselves when they have all the budget but couldnt produce something like this. This is my favourite animation compare to the others. As seen in the animation he fell in love with spider lady but she ended up dying because of his curse. Zhu Ba Jie brought with him heavenly armor & his weapon a magical rake named the Nine-Toothed Rake to the mortal realm to aid Son Wukong & his adventures.

The two fell in love, and Bajie spared the Purple Spider during this tribulation. The Purple Spider bore Bajie’s daughter and waited for him until her death. Due to the earlier case of mistaken identity, the Purple Spider said to Bajie on her deathbed, "You're still as foolish as before," referring to both his mistake and his reluctance to acknowledge them out of fear of the Heavenly Court’s retribution.

The Bull Demon King, a mighty warlord in his own right, suffered the destruction of his family and the scattering of his loved ones just because he got entangled with someone of destiny. How could the small Pansi Cave stand against the Heavenly Court? Bajie didn’t have the skills of his elder brother, nor the power of the Bull Demon King.
If he doesn't look back, he can't love her; if he does, it will bring her harm. So Bajie chose not to acknowledge her-he couldn’t. Bajie was determined to help the destined one, and even if he failed, the only price would be his own life. He would no longer drag his loved ones into it. The best love he could give her was to let go.

But to the handmaiden a life without Bajie is worst than any curse. The tragedy for them both is to really love her he has to leave her and for the handmaiden she hopes that Bajie wont ever forget her. She goes on to wear the same make up in each life so that Bajie can recognize her and hopes their paths will cross no matter how long it takes as she will be waiting for him to come to her.
This tragic love makes me cry because being in love so much that you are forced to leave them to protect them is very very cruel kind of love to endure. Bajie in the final scene is still forced to ignore Violet Spider and his own child is very very cruel.
