Your retreat sounded marvellous; it's always a joy to learn new techniques and meet people IRL. Your MM adapted perfectly to a smaller format and what a clever idea to use just part of the large bee. TFS

Hi. It sounds like you had a great time at the retreat and I'm so glad. That frame is just gorgeous and the bee turned out surprisingly cute for a large bee that looked positively menacing cut from black card at the beginning. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experience. Have a wonderful week! 😃

I mostly do mixmedia and few carts, but I love watching your videos, they inspire me so much and I also aprend a lot of thecniques that I did not know or that I did not measure much. Your creations are so beautiful and the mixmedia techniques will enrich them again I’m sure.
Yet another beautiful cart creation 😊💛🧡💛

So glad you had so much fun at your retreat Chrissie! It sounded like lots of fun. I don't think you have to be a mixed media expert, just do what makes your eyes happy and have fun using all kind of medium. That to me is the key of mix media. Or at least that is what I'm learning from you. I LOVED everything you did in this video. I never thought about using metallic paints on the paper like that, but I sure did love the results you got! Those powders should be called magic powders because they do magical things on white and black papers. LOL Love, love, love how your card came out. So fun, so pretty and CAS. Hugs, Brenda

So many exquisite details in each tiny piece... {lightbulb 💡 turns on in my small brain, so thank you!} An instructor once told me, and I have read, that if you use two mediums together, you are doing mixed media. So ink and watercolor - or paint or paste, and so on. So in my view, you are an extremely accomplished mixed media card maker. So there.

I’m a bit envious of your craft retreat but grateful you are sharing it with us. I absolutely love this card and it’s another reason I check my you tube for you every day. I’m going to the Indigo Blu site today to do some shopping. I do wish someone in the U.S. would carry the Gummiapan dies, I find their site a bit confusing for this “very mature” lady and I haven’t mastered being able to order anything as of yet. I’m not giving up though! Thankful that you share your talents with all of us!

Glad you enjoyed the event and are sharing what you learned, it is immensely appreciated. The frame turned out beautifully, it looks as if some of the areas are raised like three dimensional because of the leaves. Very pleased your Indigo Blu retreat was so enjoyable & you clearly listened during class! A lovely card and the frame decoration technique is inspired. One would have thought the metallics were what was stamped, which would have been really fiddly and we all love an effect which looks a lot more complicated than it really is - we must preserve our mystique! Thank you as always :)

I don't do Facebook but fortunately it allowed me to lurk. Love, love your project and what a surprise to see the gold gilt (metallic paint?). NOT. Your gilding flakes look fab on it. This card is fantastic, especially the frame. I'm trying to resist the IndigoBlu products. I just placed an order at Gummiapan last week for some of their new release items and, of course, I already have buyer's remorse that I left some great dies behind.
