It’s stereotypical but it’s imagined someone working from San Francisco as a skilled programmer with a high living expense would be viewed better than someone from South America or India but it’s the reality. I would insist on letting my work and portfolio do the talking 😎
@@VictorShortss there are a few factors, first world countries are concidered to be more pedegree because they have better education systems, the cost of living is higher due to its demands so the price per hour will be more there ... why would you hire a dev from a first world if they are more expensive , 1. they already know your language and are easier to communicate with , 2. they are concidered better due to the education systems in first world , 3. they trust the 3rd world less due to their lower economic situations. 4th they get some sort of kickbacks from hiring locally 5, they actually are a better candidate due to expirence with first world resources .. does that help

Of course you can. All that matters is that someone is willing to pay you for your time. If you can prove that with an impressive portfolio and a value proposition, then you’ll be a freelancer. I self taught myself (not even a bootcamp) and approached a company and they were willing to hire me. Just office politics stopped them.
