- Hey y’all! When I wrote this recipe, I wanted it to be simple and easy for any level cook! This made from scratch banana pudding is delicious and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you!

- 2.5 Cups Milk (Whole)
- 2 Tbsp All Purpose Flour
- 2/3 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 1 Tsp Pure Vanilla
- Dash of Allspice (optional)
Whipped Cream:
- 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
-1 Tbsp Confectioners Sugar

I finally made some for Father's Day. It was so good! I used the original recipe and I doubled it, so it took forever. You had me wanting some so bad. I might make banana nut muffins next. Great job!

Hi Nicole! Merry Christmas. It’s okay to double the recipe for that size, but I’d suggest you make two separate batches if it’s your first time. A little too much or not enough of something could ruin the entire thing. If you’re already accustomed to making it this way, then go for it, but if not, definitely create separate batches and combine them. ❤️

What’s the point of banana pudding without 🍌. Momma always put a couple pats of butter in with the vanilla flavoring at the end. That looks good enough to eat. 🌷🌷🌷
What if I forgot the vanilla will that mess up the recipe?
It wouldn’t mess it up, but it would probably have a “plain” taste or just a sweet taste.

Hi! Your heat is probably not high enough. Are you using the exact same measurements? These ratios do not double and must be made in batches to the T.
Yes I’m using the exact measurements given. My heat maybe too low.
@@braneishasmith1716 if you turn the heat up it can definitely help thicken but make sure that you’re continuously whisking so it doesn’t burn. It’s a process but you got it!!!!!!

Nikkilosophy yes ma’am. If you over whip, you’ll get sweet cream butter. All you’ll have to do is add salt
