So much Christmas from my childhood. And I’m only 34 but my grandma saved all her decorations from when she was little and through out the years. She was born in the 40’s
Some people I know have had really poor opinions about estate sales thinking you're invading someone's privacy, looking through their belongings and it's shameful for a family to sell everything to strangers but I feel like these things at one time brought the owners joy and why not let these things go to somebody else who can see the value in them and enjoy them. I liked you put it. Going to an estate and looking through somebodys loved possessions can be fun look back in time and a joy and an honor.
Well, that was FANTASTIC!!!! I've collected antique Chrustmas, Halloween and a little Easter decorations for about 45 years. And, I use to garage sale, go to flea markets and antique stores alot. But I have never stumbled on to soooo much great stuff all at one place. What caught my eye were the net xmas stockings because in 1954 or 1955, I started visiting Santa and he would give every child one of those, filled with toys and candy! Also, the chenielle candy canes!!!! I love those. Not the new ones they make today but the old ones like you had. I think I saw some roping and also some actual canes in your piles. The mercury glass ornaments and feather tree ornaments are a super find and the metal santa and santa doll! The Easter Bunny has a look that can't be duplicated. Your eye for detail and appreciation for ephemera and the past is amazing and I'm so happy you are keeping this era alive. You found so much cool stuff. But mostly, I like how kind you are to one another. That's the best part about your videos! Thanks for all the fun!!!!
Hi Terry! Your comment made us smile! Thank you so much for the compliments, and kind words. As a fellow vintage Christmas collector, we’re so happy you enjoyed coming along with us. See you on the next one! 😊♥️
Janine and Laura I'm laughing with excitement. This haul remind me of things that I had growing up. I remember opening up presents just as you did. I felt it was 1965 all over again. Oh, the Easter Bunny! Love the birthday, wedding cards , coloring books, ornaments, and everything.
Oh my, I can only imagine what it was like! Jeannine and I chat about what it must have been like to see everything back then ♥️ Happy we got to feel a piece of what it might have been like for you and others during that time, it seems truly magical to us! Thanks for watching 😊
I just started watching your videos 2 nights ago and I'm hooked. I live in Australia, I collect retro, vintage, mid century items but never went into the world of vintage Christmas. (now I see a new collection coming along). I love the vibe you guys have and it's really interesting seeing the comparison of Australia to the US. Please keep the channel going because I just love these searches!!
I am soooo envious ladies!! Ahhhhh! I'm so excited for you because I know that feeling when you know you scored but you're not quite sure what you got yet. It's better than Christmas morning going through it all!!
You guys crack me up and I love watching you. This stuff was the junk of my youth that was used up and tossed because none of it was considered nice enough to keep. Gotta say I still don't want it but so appreciate your passion for all that kitsch.
My adrenaline started rising and I felt like I was right there with you. I would have had major anxiety in a small space but also trying to manage what I wanted and how to keep it away from someone else. Like that luggage new in box🤦🏼♀️. You almost have enough to start a store. With so much stuff will they have another? Imagine if someone had just bought the contents of the house. Good job ladies. 😘🤗
you guys found the jackpot of vintage Christmas. loved seeing all your finds. When you pulled that branch out for that tree I had a memory of a vacation I went on as a kid in the 80s. we went to Texas for a tiny town reunion, my mom grew up there. there was a parade and someone was dressed as a peacock and had turned one of these amazing trees into feathers for her costume. I remember finding one of them that had fallen on the ground and it was the exact same shape as yours. I remember thinking then how amazing and pretty it was just by itself. anyway, what a haul! Im so glad you guys got to experience it.
Every time we go into an estate sale we feel honored to be part of. It might sound silly. This sale especially made us feel like we were going back in time and seeing their life. Thank you for watching ❤️
Wow ... What a haul! I'm a vintage and antique Christmas Santa Claus collector. In the 50 years that I've been doing this, I've only had one haul like this.
I just found your videos posted on TH-cam. I know the excited feeling I get when I find something I collect & it's reasonably priced. I collect mostly vintage Shiny Brite ornaments I display in my bowl collection, some go on the tree but most are in bowls, trays, Pyrex dishes, milkware & unusual catch alls. Also Santa's, Xmas trees, angels & snowmen & women. I have a few 40's & 50's Christmas corsages in bowls or hung in my tree. I own a couple of vintage garlands. The very first garland was a green pea & pearl onion beaded garland I love this one. It's very unusual & petite. I like shiny objects or different stylized Christmas decor. 🎄 It was a great haul you guys got!!!! I liked the tin Santa & Santa doll & the boxes of vintage ornaments. The rush of finding hidden objects is so addictive. The secret is knowing the history of your found items & not costing you an arm or a leg. Going to antique shops or flea markets the vendors know what to charge & some won't banther with pricing. GREAT HUNTING. The lavender plush Easter Bunny was really sweet! At the end when you showed the Pom Pom Aluminum Christmas tree is truly an amazing item. I wouldn't sell that item, that's a kerper!!!!!
I love the crafting sale idea! I am obsessed with the old wrapping paper and the box too! The box is great for display! Well done! Way to get your diggin’ on!
WHOA 😄 WOW 😲 OMG 👏 !! My vintage Christmas-loving heart is singing for joy!! How thrilling! 🎅🎄 ALL of your finds were extraordinary! Those bathing suits were an amazing find! Thanks for sharing 😄👍👍👍
Omg!! What a FANTASTIC HAUL!!! so happy for you both!! I am so in love with the two piece green vintage bathing suit! I would take out the old elastic n insert a drawstring/ribbon! Love watching you two!
Good God Almighty and I say that loud and strong lol you hit the jackpot what I couldn’t believe was the mesh stockings with the beautiful graphics of Santa and then the stuff and toys still in it. My heart started palpitating looking at all this stuff knowing you guys must’ve been ready to have a heart attack lol. I know you love the holiday stuff and I also do but oh my God that viewfinder and the Barbie phone and stuff we didn’t even get to see was making me a nervous wreck ha ha ha. You guys when you’re explaining stuff you look like you’re ready to explode and you hold back. Let it out jump up-and-down and scream you’re still young you can do it and nobody is going to say a damn thing lol. And then that damn bunny rabbit holy shit.Like being my older self and knowing how young you guys are what I’m happiest most is you get to go through absolutely every little thing and touch it at home and enjoy it together and look at each other in astonishment. And then when you get to the back of the car I see that one beautiful pumpkin sitting on top and I’m so jealous. I can tell you right now without bursting your bubble with as old of stuff that there was there and the way they took care of it and packaged it with tissue paper and pretty much took care of it there was probably A $50,000 item there no doubt lol and don’t overlook colored typewriters they go for a very good price. Typewriters use to not sell as much especially black ones but colored typewriters are selling big time right now. I’m actually talking as I watch you guys on television because I like to give you credits of watching you on TV and on my phone that way you get more viewing and eventually that can turn into TH-cam money lol. Absolutely love old Christmas cards and holiday cards and I didn’t know how much I liked them until I received a cluster of my aunt and uncles when they passed away and I sat and looked at every single one and the cards were made so much better back then. They just seem more meaningful and more personable than they are in today’s world.Well I have about another 22 minutes left to watch lol I will get back to you guys I have to go down and get something to eat in the kitchen lol and please let me know if I’m talking your ear off ha ha ha sometimes I just get excited along with you guys and a lot of this stuff takes me back to my childhood so thank you.
Oh my goodness, what an AWESOME sale!!! So many amazing things!!! Good for you guys- love that you love the same things I do!!! I could have watched you guys go thru stuff all day! Amazing!❤️❤️❤️
Love love love. Love vintage cards. I collect them. I love vintage papers, receipts etc for junk journal making. Love all the vintage xmas too. You got an awesome haul
Hey since you guys had such a big haul this time maybe you can make a part two video off of this one so we can see more clear and detailed items out of this sale that you went to and see some of the outside of the boxes and what we’re actually inside a little bit more close up like the stuff that was in those stockings back in the day and some of the tree toppers may be turned on or up a little bit closer at your home on the table that would be cool. I just feel like we all out here didn’t get to see the individuality of what we’re in the boxes and the excitement of it and all of the little hidden things that make us so happy out here. It’s just a suggestion and a may be part two video even if it’s another 40 minutes lol I would really love to see what this elderly lady had and what she kept for a reason and what an amazing woman to cherish and keep all this old stuff so that generations or even her family could share and pass down.
I mean since you already have a stuff and you’re going through it that way you can organize it and we can better see things close up to take us back to our childhood. I don’t mean to ask too much of you but I feel like that’s what TH-cam is about and that’s kind of why the videos are made lol I know it’s to sell stuff or to keep it but for us out here We really and thoroughly enjoy seeing the little items close up so don’t ever think you’re boring us with that or the videos are too long because that’s actually what people like. Again just an idea if you would consider that. Thank you so much
You in the backseat surrounded by stuff just made me chuckle!!!! I love it! I went to an estate sale yesterday and inwas the only one brave enough to dig in the attic. I live in the south so the heat was incredible. What we will do for some vintage decor! Lol
My dreams come true. Oh my! I think I would have to be dragged out of there. Amazing! All that Christmas and those cards! Those cards! Those amazing cards!
WOW, That Estate sale was really awesome, with ALL the vintage Christmas ornaments. And the perfect Xmas aluminum pom pom tree!!! Vintage Easter, & some vintage Halloween too! Best Estate Sale of the decade!!! I Loved everything!!!! You scored BIG!!!! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Janine Laura is so awesome that you guys found all that vintage Christmas we had a a pom pom Christmas tree brings lots of memories to me wow that is so awesome girls I'm so happy for you guys God bless you
Poochie goes for a lot of money!! I grew up with her as a kid. They made stamp sets and stationery items that were super cute with her. What an amazing estate sale!! Wow. What a rush!!
What a great haul. Wish I went with you guys. Those are things I grew up with Those net Christmas stocking such a treat. Nice to go back to such warm time. I WAS very lucky as a child. Thanks girls
This was so so freaking cool!!! You both did amazing! What amazing pieces you both found! It's honestly a time capsule and the owner did such a wonderful job taking care of her possessions. Such a cool experience!
Nice find on the tree! Not sure if you saw it on our channel about a month ago, but we picked up a Bradford worth $400 for about a quarter. Made fur a great thrift haul video… can’t wait to flip it this Christmas! We still have yet to squire our own aluminum tree. But like I anyways say.. it’s not IF, it’s WHEN.
I frame vintage wrapping paper and put it on my piano or you can put it on a credenza as a backdrop it just looks beautiful and it brings so much color to any kind of display
Love your videos here in the south Estates are normally priced I’ve never been to a digger sale type. I picked up a similar tree off the curb last year. Love vintage holiday ❤️
Hi L&J, OMG HOLY CRAP!! What an amazing estate sale. I love digger sales. That sale was a sale of dreams. So happy for you guys. I love everything you bought. Can't wait for your sale. TFS Stay safe & ✌
Omg 😱 I was drooling as you pulled everything out of the big box 📦🎄 I remember must of that and to see in original boxes and great shape is a godsend!!! Im a crafter so would be interested when you have your sale! I love picks and they are hard to find, lol Thank you Ladies and keep on thrifting🥰
OH MY GOODNESS! That Tree!!! I have my grandmother's aluminum tree. I would take it to school to use in our classroom every year. I still have it. I'm over 49 yrs old now. All that paper ephedra is fabulous! I would have been stunned as well. Great pick up on the bathing suits. Try an auction on Whatnot. I would be interested in getting some paper items.
Wow I'm in awww! I'd love to buy an old Christmas color book or books. I've tried to explain the difference to my grandchildren. I still love to color and my favorite as a child and now is the Christmas coloring books. Keep me in mind if you decide to sell any of those. I absolutely love the old vintage Santa Claus
OK I’m gonna be bold and I have to ask this question because I think viewers like to know a little bit more about the people or strangers that they’re watching but yet they feel like they know them so well because we bring you into our homes every day and every night to watch you somewhere in another state. OK my question is what makes you guys or gals I should say love vintage stuff and the time period that you like first of all. Second were you guys childhood friends or did you just meet somewhere. Third did you already have commonality in common with the same things that you love or did one enjoy it more than the other and the other one just fell in love with the fact or idea of it. Also are you happy with the amount of viewers you have in such a short period of time and are you hoping that someday financially this will be all worth it.
...... good Lord all of the trunk stuff you are now showing is amazing also and you know what I really like the most if I can share with you is your generation appreciating so many of these items almost like you were born in a different lifetime lol you were both old souls and I wish you could’ve lived through these years with the stuff you’re touching because it was actually phenomenal and very exciting and fun and safe back then. I try to put myself in your shoes knowing the knowledge I know at my age of 56 and then being your age and trying to envision what you guys are feeling and seeing without actually being in that time. If you know what I’m talking about. Did you guys ever think about taking all those Christmas tags and getting a large and unique type photo frame and putting them all under glass and hanging them in your living room during Christmas. Oh wow are you kidding me with that pom-pom Christmas tree for people to take the time to put them back in the sleeves is amazing and for stuff to be saved for the next generation to know what it was like back in the day. It definitely saddens me for anything that’s ever been made in our lifetime to disappear completely or dwindled down to maybe three of them left in the world lol if you know what I mean. I mean at one point in life and I usually think really deep lol by the way so I don’t mean to bore you but everything that’s ever been made has been touched by somebody or gone through a process of being used or loved or a very important thing in somebody’s life and I guess that’s what touches me so deeply when old items start disappearing it’s almost got wrenching lol Anyways I’m towards the end of the video and you guys crack me up when you get excited and you hold it back because I know you don’t act that way at home with each other I can honestly see you guys getting so damn excited and giggling in your own way sitting on the couch going through shit so let me give you some advice you don’t have to be too serious on TH-cam just let it all out and be yourselves and laugh as hard as you want and really enjoy your videos that you’re making. I think you’re doing a fabulous job now but I can see so much held back combustion lol. Thank you again for a great video thank you for the longest video I think you’ve made so far I was super excited to see 44 minutes actually almost 45 and it’s nice to come home to be able to relax and watch something you enjoy so good job on this one and don’t forget to hang something in the rearview mirror of your car. I want to see what you pick out out of every little thing you have that is significant to you and some thing you want to carry around with you. Tata for now and I feel like I talk so much now on here because I get excited about all the stuff you guys are finding because I can’t actually go out and do it myself right now so I feel like Jimmy Kimmel saying sorry we didn’t have enough time for Matt Damon at the end of every episode he’s ever done on television as a joke lol Byeeeeeee have fun looking at everything🤟🎄🎃🐰👍
Yes, you are truly blessed to have such amazing estate sales. I live in Kentucky and we rarely have sales like that. I always enjoy seeing the sales to get to go to but, I’m also a little jealous. LOL 😂
I like the idea of buying from whatnot. It seems straight forward and easy. Instagram sales just confuse me. I would love to be able to bid on some vintage Christmas, Halloween or Easter.
I had the worst day today and after this… it all went away! Thanks for taking us along, I felt your excitement! What a haul of joy! Hey, what ever tree you keep and/or sell… I think you should sell the branches individually? Bigger profit for you and we can use them in centerpieces or for decor items? Great idea huh?
Wow!!! You guys are ridiculously adorable 💕 I like the Santa doll in the box . I had one similar stuffed with wood chips . What’s yours stuffed with? Mine would have been early 1960s ish
I am so happy for you as your hard work paid off. Your enthusiasm is catching. You both are so cute and a joy to watch each time.
Aw thank you so much for the kind words! Thanks for watching! ♥️

I’m dying with excitement for you guys as I watch this!!!!! OMG WOW!

Thank you so much for watching!! I bet the students loved seeing the tree! We’re planning a whatnot auction very soon! 🥰♥️
みんな古いデザインでカワイイです♥観ていると癒やされました!絵がカワイイです♥
oh that bunny purple so awesome i have a ton of them but no purple !! super find!!!
No words other than AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! You two (three) got such great vintage stuff~~~~~~~
Thank you!! 🥰♥️
That last swimsuit with the split top is similar in style to one I had in the 60's!!
How exciting!! You'll be just too excited to sleep for a week!! What a great sale!!
So true, we’re still talking about it! Thanks for watching! 😊♥️
Congratulations on your finds so happy for the both of you 👍🏻
Thank you so much! 😊
So much fun, thanks for taking us along.
Thank you for watching! ♥️
so thrilled for you guys that christmas box was truly like christmas morning!!!!
Thank you so much! ♥️
...... good Lord all of the trunk stuff you are now showing is amazing also and you know what I really like the most if I can share with you is your generation appreciating so many of these items almost like you were born in a different lifetime lol you were both old souls and I wish you could’ve lived through these years with the stuff you’re touching because it was actually phenomenal and very exciting and fun and safe back then.
Oh, I want to go on a trip with you. I never find good sales like you do!
How exciting so many awesome finds to many to name my favorite but that tree sells for alot and yours is in perfect condition never seen one so nice 😊
Thank you so much for watching! Yes we couldn’t believe the condition! 🌟
OMG! My heart was racing while you where in there. Great finds
Thanks so much! 😊
I left video and came back to it. Then there was sound. What a haul you got!
Glad it’s working now! Thanks for watching!
What a great sale. You really found some great stuff. Love it all. God Bless you hit the jackpot.
Thank you so much! We were very lucky that day 😊 Thank you for watching!
We’re so happy we were able to brighten your day! 🌟 Thank you for watching 😊 I think we may hang onto all our aluminum trees for at least one year 😂
Wow!!! You guys are ridiculously adorable 💕 I like the Santa doll in the box . I had one similar stuffed with wood chips . What’s yours stuffed with? Mine would have been early 1960s ish
Super cool finds! We are jealous, but so glad you got those treasures and shared the adventure with us!
Thank you so much for joining us! ♥️
Wow! Amazing haul! Congrats on so many incredible finds! You guys are knowledgeable and entertaining to watch.
Thank you so much for watching, and the kind words! 😊♥️
I feel so old seeing Poochie and knowing immediately what she is. I loved Poochie!
