Hi, how do you prevent air bubble formation while spraying your coating? Because wouldn't that introduce gaps that can easily be eroded during corona discharge or flashover?
air bubbles are normally formed when you are spraying the coating at very high pressure. you will need to adjust the pump pressure to avoid its formation. in spring RTv coating you will need to make sure that you are not letting any spot uncoated. if you make sure to apply the RTV over 100% of the surface of the insulator you will ort have any issues.
