So, here I am, watching your entire backlog of tutorials 😂 Do you think it’s underrated? Everyone talks about the big name software, but I love Synfig! It’s a powerful piece of kit. Thanks again. When I put out a trailer or a full animated episode for one of my works, I’ll give you a shout 💪🏼
Thank you for the tutorials. They were very useful! Does Synfig have a limit on the amount of keyframes? I must be doing something wrong, but somehow I've created too many key frames (couple hundred) in a 30 second video and then the "Add key frame" button is greyed out... Cant find anywhere online regarding that. Your help would be very appreciated.
Hi, thanks for you question. The "Add keyframe" button becomes inactive whenever you are trying to add a keyframe where one has already been added. So you would have to go to an area on the timeline where there is no keyframe and the button will become active again. Or if you remove a keyframe, the add keyframe button will become active to indicate that you are now allowed to add a keyframe in that location. Also if you have multiple keyframes with groups, for example you have multiple layers and you want to add a keyframe in the same location for each layer, then you would have to forget about the "Add keyframe" button and do it manually.
Neat. Coming from After Effects I'm wondering if this program has something similar to expressions where you can code information to avoid tedious animations. So like I noticed you gave the bird a bounce animation by altering the scale every so many frames whereas in after effects you could either add a wiggle expression to randomize scaling values or just use a LoopOut() expression to repeat the bounce animation for as long as the animation lasts.

Hi I come from a Moho Pro background and well let just say I don't have the amount of money to buy the latest Moho so I decided to teach myself to use synfig in fact your tutorials had help me a lot I was wondering if maybe you could do a how to animate an anime character they tend to be more difficult to animate which is what I am struggling at the moment

Hold down the "Shift" key on the keyboard, then left click on the waypoint and drag

it can be doing with "time loop" in synfig, but to keep it simple, he is copying waypoint as I am curious how he can do it by simply dragging.
