Thanks for the review. In the future, your review might offer a better frame of reference if you list off the other skates you've been skating when making comparisons.
I prefer 60mm round UC wheels like the bernal or the gawds prado wheel but i will skate as little as a 58mm and the biggest ill go is a 64mm for anti. For flat i like a 57-59 bullet profile
Great question the width is plenty in my opion the depth however is pretty dang snugg depending on the liner id say this is just as wide as an aeon in the same size not as wide as an sl tho which imo sls are too wide and too sloppy
@@kordel_alcorn_white cheers bro for the quick reply im currently skating at 8-9 sl shell thats toe cut as im skating a 10-10.5intuition in it with a 285mm foot id be getting the shifts in a 10.5 so would be a shell up so hopefully it should work well the 8-9 sl works but on any decent gap my toes do clap the end of the skate which sucks specially being winter here cold makes it seem worse
@@kordel_alcorn_white yeah it wasnt ideal but was gifted the boot so did what i had too am on aeons atm but now the the andrew broom skate im thinking i may try the shifts
Ive tried a ton of skates this last year and id say the shift (skated properly with the soul screws all in) is one of the best skates ever made for aggressive. The interchangeable system is a farce for the most part tho
the toe box is like that because the gen boot and SL boot had such huge toe boxes. the shift is more like the cult/cream shell. slimmer and tighter.
i hated the buckles that came on these. i bought the regular plastic ones immediately. i also dont like how much the boot squeaks.
Put wax on the boot area around the cuff bolts and the squeaking stops

@@kordel_alcorn_white just grabbed the camo razors. Curious to see stock wheels when they come in. Thanks for the info!
Whats the width difference between these and the sl the hight thing doesnt worry me as i skate aeons fine but width always bites me

@@Gsfbandit93 yeah man id definitely say go up for the 10.5 shell. I honestly do not think tow cutting is the way to go about things with boots.

Did you buy your shoe size or size down in these?
Always down size in skates imo.. there are very few skate brands that i skate my actual shoe size in
@@kordel_alcorn_white true true. I skated the 8-9 a few years ago but never bothered on stretching them out so I gave up on them lol
