Montenegro is not part of Schengen area, so no need for Schengen visa. But check if you need tourist visa for Montenegro.

I started watching your videos while I was researching moving to Montenegro. They have been so useful. I chose Tivat and was so disappointed that I didn't see you filming here - I would have loved to have said hi!
I've been here 3 weeks and go to Theodorus nearly every day - I didn't realise the door nearby led to the palace and little museum. I kept hearing that there was an outdoor theatre nearby but had no idea where it was - doh! I love Tivat, it's clean and the people are just lovely. It also smells amazing. Keep the videos coming, they are so interesting and Montenegro is a true hidden gem.

PS. I have never been to Theodorus, even though I passed next to it like 10 000 times, not sure why that place was never inviting. Maybe because they renovated it recently, now it looks much nicer.

Thank you for videos!! Places are amazing. I am in Tivat now. I checked all places even Kotor, Lady of Rock, Blue cave, Budva, Stari Bar, Sveti Stefan…
But now during seasson it´s quite madness!!! Drivers are crazy, all time honking, colors on traffic lights its just indicative for them. Bikes,scooters even cars in opposite dorection… I need to concentrate like never before. I went from Tivat to Kotor 90minutes. From Tivat to Budva 3 hours…
Food, restaurants, places, people are awesome, but roads are madness 🇲🇪😁

Hey Patrik, yes, july and august are craziest with traffic jams... My favorite summer months are june and septembar. Still hot enough to enjoy the beach and outdoors, without too much jams. Enjoy!

Hi Rami, thank you for your feedback, it really means a lot! Glad to help! You really have plenty of time to enjoy Montenegro, and to discover many places. Beside the places you mentioned, do not skip Cetinje(Lovcen, made a video about it, check it out). Rijeka Crnojevica is a great choice, so many beautiful places to discover around the lake, especially villages such are Virpazar, Godinje, Karuc... beautiful small sleepy villages, with cool restaurants/views during summer months... Why did you choose Savnik? I would base myself in Zabljak for couple of days, and from there discover Black lake+ famous Durmitor Ring drive... Also I would base myself for couple of days in Kolasin, and from there explore Biograd lake, do famous Komovi ring hike(around 20km, possible to do in 1 day)+ do Bjelasica 5 lake tour... in 3 week you can do so much, and keep your energy pumping :)

Usually up to 100mbps for about 20eur per month... 4g is also pretty fast...
Excellent video. Hard to believe a place this ideal exists that is so affordable! I keep wondering what the catch is so here's my question. How difficult is it to enjoy a mostly smoke free life in the Tivat area? I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke and know about the 2019 law but I'm guessing any outdoor restaurant, bar or other gathering area will be filled with smokers since such a large % of the population smokes. Are there certain neighborhoods that tend to have less smokers? Oh, I really appreciate how you provide the time index for easy reference.

Hi, Thank you for this little tour de Tivat, it was great, it gave me some idea about the place. I have a question and it would be very helpful if you knew some information about it :-) We are coming on vacation next week to Tivat with a dog. Is there a dog beach somewhere in Tivat or nearby or do you know some places where we can go swimming with our dog? And generally how do local people respond to dogs, is it dog friendly or not? @@olaabdrabou7579 check out GoOpti Montenegro transfers from the airport to the coast, very convenient service. To Mostar I think there are buses, but you will have to check at Kotor bus stations. Zdravo Nikola, hvala , trudim se :) Tivat nije bas poznat po nekim prelijepim plazama, jer je to zaliv :) po meni najbolja plaza je Waikiki u seljanovu, ja obicno tu idem...to je full kao beach club, i naplavili su bas lijepu plazu... oko 15-20e su lezaljke... od nekih besplatnih plaza bas nema neki izbor... ima plaza na Belane, ali ja bih je zaobisao :) isto tako ljudi idu na Kalardovo, ali ni to mi nije nesto narocito lijepo... najblize TIvtu ti je Jaz, 20 minuta voznje put Budve... ja obozavam Jaz... mada vikendom i sad u spicu sezone zna da bude guzva... nema preko Budve sto se tice plaza, tj. okoline Budve :) javljaj ako imas jos pitanja :)

@@idesukuraceu ima bus koji vozi od svetog stefana do jaza.... Lokalna linija, stajalista su diz glavnog bulevara kroz Bd. Olimpija se zove bus, 1 ili 2 eura karta po smjeru...

+sleepandearnmoney for sure Albania is cheaper... if you are traveling on a budget, than Balkan countries are your best bet. You can travel easily on EUR1000 per month, or even less...
What about the toxicity of the depleted Uranium munitions used by NATO against Serbia Montenegro during the Balkan war that may still pollute Montenegro? This possible radio active pollution is the only concern I have before retiring to Montenegro 🇲🇪

The bus system is terrible not just tivat but in whole of Montenegro thats just due to the terrible road infrastructure I think he is a bit too enthusiastic
Tivat is really great I can give him that! also is the best town to explore the coast because it smack in the middle of all other worth so see coastal towns
Hi Mijezz, I used some really terrible busses when traveling around the world, and I cannot agree that Mne bus system is like that. Of course I would not compare it to Western bus systems, but for the Balkan area, it is quite convenient as it gets you from point A to point B in no time, for cheap monies.
@@montenegrovideoguide4011 Hi perhaps I should have formulated it differently, according to my experience and standards MNE bus system isn’t that great. Be that as it may I would recommend renting a car or coming by car. Please don’t het me wrong I didn’t mean to offend.

Pa usput ako moze jedno pitanjce odnosno potvrdu :) Ako hocu busom ici iz Budve u Virpazar da li prvo moram ici u Sutomore pa od tamo bus za Virpazar ? Hvala !
