Hi Frankie, sorry for delayed reply. I usually book Avis or Sixt, never had any issues with them. Don't look only for companies with cheapest price, as the cars might not be reliable... Also ensure to get insurance too, you never know what might happen, even small scratch can cost you hundreds of euros without insurance... let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for making these videos, they are very informative and on point. We are staying in Kotor but on the opposite side of the bay from old town by the city hospital, we arrived 3rd September and leave on the 17th, we have so far visited Kotor old town, Perast, Budva old town (stunning) prcanj , Tivat, climbed the steps to Kassel St Ivan pheww it’s hard going in the heat, Took the cable car up to the top and the views are breathtaking. That’s week 1 done! It’s nice and quiet over this side as the old town can be quite noisy of a night, and when the ships come in it is very busy ! Beautiful country and very friendly x

Another very popular ones are Budva and Kotor marinas. Closer to Albania is port town of Bar, with also big city marina.

@@montenegrovideoguide4011 Oh! I just saw that you have uploaded a more update video that this one..
Thank you so much for all the updates that you are providing. I will be in Montenegro around mid June and hopefully the rule of 15 days in Serbia and no need for PCR in entering Montenegro will still be the same.. I am planning to stay also for 15 days there and would be staying in Kotor first. I have not decided on the next place to stay.. I understand that Budva is just 30 minutes or so only from Kotor; however, will there be a public transportation from Kotor to Budva? I do not know how to drive and will be relying mostly to public transportation.
I'm from Philippines but currently in Germany with Schengen visit visa only. I need to step out of this country and does not want to go home yet. Hence, the reason for traveling even though it's pandemic still.
Thanks for the info about the cost of PCR test. About this, do you think it's ok to book a flight from Split? I plan to leave Croatia around mid July. I worry that if I book now and won't be able to cross the border.. It will be summer then and hopefully Croatia will welcome more people..
Thanks again.. Apologies for the long message..

There is public transportation across all Montenegro, and buses are great way of traveling around. So from Kotor you can move around easily in any direction.
I believe by mid-July you will be able easily to fly out of Croatia, they don't really have entry ban for Montenegro. Especially if you hold valid plane ticket.
I recentrly traveled across Bosnia, Serbia, North Macedonia, Kosovo... even though it is pandemic, with reasonable self care it is quite easy to enjoy traveling... Cheers'

Hi Sujith, thank you for your kind feedback. North is very amazing part of Montenegro too, and visiting Black lake, doing Tara river rafting, zip line on Djurdjevica's Tara bridge... very cool experiences, if you have time... But 6 days seems too little time to visit both north and south... During 6 days you can see Boka Bay places such are Kotor, Tivat, Budva, do a day trip to Cetinje(lovcen national park+Mausoleum, check my video about that). This would be a nice itinerary for 6 days. If you wish to see the north, that have at least 3-4 days in Montenegro, so 10 days would be minimum... Etno selo are cool places to stay at... Etno village Montenegro is my favorite one. Let me know your thoughts, and if you have any other questions. Cheer's, Predrag

Hi Sara, regarding the area, I would go for Huma Kotor Bay, as it is only couple of kilometers from Kotor Old Town, and also close to Perast. You have also by bus within half an hour drive places such are Tivat, Herceg Novi, Budva... during summer driving time could be longer as there might be some more traffic in July and August. Vivid Blue is a new hotel, about 15-20minutes from Budva, but it is in the middle of nowhere... I think it is a cool hotel, but it is in the middle of nowhere... Huma is also cool hotel, there is a nice beach, but the service could be better. Check out Chedi Lustica Bay hotel too, it is 20 minutes drive from Tivat and Kotor, and 30 minutes from Budva, I like that one the most!
