Much prefer these stars from the 80s/90s.

Naw he's just looking down because he's listening to what the guy was saying and they were filming him, he couldn't see the guy, they didn't have the TV on for him, so basically it was like having a conversation on the phone except cameras were pointed on him while he was talking to the guy and obviously he didn't want to just stare at the camera

I get so disappointed when people criticize a movie because it’s not “real”. What’s wrong with fantasy? Our world is horrible enough to live in without being grossed out when watching a movie. Sometimes it’s nice to be able to just relax and enjoy a movie without being all stressed out. I’ve only watched this movie recently, but I really liked it. Two misfits falling in love. Why aren’t movies allowed to be sweet or fun anymore? Maybe we don’t want to be sitting on the edge of their seats during every movie. Or maybe we don’t need to see people’s guts flying all over the place or being beat to death. I’m not apologizing to say I loved Benny and Joon. Great job Johnny! ❤

I love how he talks so freely & tackles issues regarding racism during 21 Jump Street, I've watched the series & there was a lot of issues that seemed to be accepted/ignored back then. I love to watch interviews with Johnny, he's extremely intelligent & it's beautiful to have seen him evolve over the years. The sad part I've noticed now though during interviews is that he shy's away from questions, struggles to answer & stutters an awful lot, he's showing extreme anxiety, which is so sad to see. WOW!! I loved Benny and Joon!!! Those people who dissed it missed the point. The movie was about two mentally challenged people who fell in love against all odds. It made a strong point that society judges these people and treat them "less than" "normal" people. They are treated as if they cannot love as "normal" people and society may hold them back for this reason, like they cannot understand the concept of love. But love knows no boundaries and mentally challenged people can love, and do love and it can be just as powerful as when "normal" people love. I have worked with mentally challenged people so I guess I got it. These two hosts totally missed the boat on this very well acted love story. The woman who played Joon nailed her part! That tantrum on the train was so real. All the actors nailed their part. Benny and Joon is a great love story. Well that's my rant.
