Interesting -- watching this after Johnny won the verdict in the Virginia trial... in this video, while they're driving around, whenever he sees a bunch of people, he says "those are my relatives". Remembering when he would step into court every morning and wave to the crowd, he would turn to the cameramen and say "those are all my relatives"! It's just something that's heartwarming, knowing that he's said that for years and years and it wasn't just specifically for the trial! 💜
Exactly, he actually has always been saying it, over the years! In early 2000s , all the way through. So nothing he was saying in trial was specifically for the trial. If you watch interviews in different points of time, he has been super consistent in his answers, his views on ambitions, Hollywood, fame, values , and all. Because all of it is authentic :)
This man is so SWEET. He is acknowledging the older lady sitting on the bench by waving at her and saying hey, hi. What a beautiful soul. He's only 28 in this interview. How many 28 years old people acknowledge older people like that?
Yeah I thought that was so sweet of him to say hello to her I actually was waiting for him to offer her a ride but not during the interview cool interview 👍🏽
this is so cool. everything is so 90s. seeing his fans screaming on the street and how they're dressed. all of the different buildings... this interview is so amazing
When he passed by the older lady sitting on the bench with the umbrella he said hey. Then he told the interviewer "she looked really sweet ". Johnny has always been amazing with a huge heart ❤
Love this interview it's more comportable, love the 90s and johnny too, that what im surprused is he call the people "his relatives" even now he calls his fans relatives.he so cute.😍
He was with Winona at the time. Of course he felt more comfortable during this interview. Winona gave him calm, she kept him cool like Tim burton said. All of his interview before 1993, he looked more happy. It’s a shame that they split, they knew they loved each other but the media was just causing so much drama.
I was born in October 65, 4 hours from KY in Vol country. Had a family raising similar to Johnny. I lived in San Diego 82-84. Padres won the world series. Wished i had ran into him as well. It was such a better time back then.
@@justanorton2418 It sure was, born in 66 myself, so 80s girl here. I really miss the good ol' times. The world is awful now....😣 I was born in October too, Libra 😎♎
Very good interview. Very relaxed and I felt like I really got to know Johnny. How sweet was he to notice the old lady and say hello to her. 💕💕💕. What a sweet guy.
That was very nice of him, saying hello to a sweet elderly lady. Definitely shows his character, that he was such an amazing man back then, and still is to this day!
I saw this at the time. I 'videoed' it and watched it again and again because he was just such a cool guy. Here I am again, more than thirty years later, looking it up on TH-cam.
í kept thinking surely someone else has this and will upload it? It was such a cool idea for a TV show in those days, and í knew at the time it was a special thing. 30 {!} years on, it's even more so, with the added element of capturing an era & place long gone {that Sunset block is set to be torn down for some hideous apartments}. Sadly, í never thought to tape it at the time of broadcast, and always regretted it as my admiration for Johnny Depp grew. A year or so after the show í was desperate to see it again and to see if it was as good as í remembered. í wrote a LETTER! to Channel X, Ross' then production company, requesting a VHS copy. To my surprise & delight a video tape cassette arrived a month or so later. Not as great quality as í'd expected {it had been rush recorded over a 1990 Ross doc on David Lynch!} but at least í posessed it. FFWD 27 years to Covid Lockdown #1, alone in the house, í finally get around to digitising the tape, and seeing as how the 21st century Google World seems barely even aware of this JD '90s TV gold, let alone able to screen a copy, í felt my Depp duty to shove it online...
@@conniediaz6456 Yeah I don't think anyone there recognised him. These days though, if he's spotted anywhere in public he has loads of fans surrounding him. He probably wasn't quite as famous in 1992.
Noticed the hotdogs were "on the house." Did they recognize JD? Or was it the interviewer's British accent? There was one cop on a motorcycle lingering around them trying to not be in the camera view.
Even back then he called fans "Relatives" 🤭😉😂 6:3310:29 8:31 When he called the old lady a most beautiful thing he's seen in his life and says Hey/Hello to her and called her "she was really sweet" "No, I dont think they ever will" Little did Johnny know that he would get a Hollywood Star 9:44

Great video thanks for sharing. I wish he'd let Johnny do a bit more of the talking. They should do this together again! Can you imagine the chaos 😅 I wish it were doable though.
Interesting to see hollywood this way. But so nice to be able to get to. His life has really been interesting too. No boring moments. Bet Johnny would love Canadian Bacon Pizza. My favorite. 🙂

In my eyes JD has a sweet, gorgeous softly intelligent way about him. Tactful, diplomatic, cautious, street wise and all round very personable to the people he encounters....
¡¡Dios mío amo demasiado a Johnny!! Lo adorooooo ❤💘💫💕😭 Es que es tan bello no solo físicamente, él es bello en todo sentido, él es la definición del hombre ideal 😍💘🥰❤
It was OK but it's mostly just Ross being very touristy and mentioning things about LA that everyone knows about ("Ooh look, there's Mann's Chinese Theatre", "Hey, there's Pink's hotdog stand").
How do you like being an actor....it's cool kinda isolating no autonomy but it's alot better than the alternative...I can't get a real job because I'm the worst worker ever 🤣
What Americans lead the way? It started with Jack the Ripper and that other chick who was also a serial killer I think was there. But there were a ton of other serial killers in the uk. It’s just an extremely tiny nation so of course there won’t be as many. Also possibly the most prolific serial killer of all time was British Harold shipmen, and Lucy Letby was just caught in the uk for killing seven infants. I mean come on, I know British people always want to slam Americans but make it make sense at least for once.
