For this video I was on factory ECU with Invidia 300 catback and that it for performance wise. The Dyno clip at the end was just an old video back when i was tune.
Great how to and comparison video. For grins and giggles you may even look into the Injen Cold Air Intake. It comes with a windshield washer bottle relocation, and the filter is located in front of the driver tire. Don't worry about hydrolock. It also comes with a hydroshield sock. I've been running the Injen for over 5 years and never had any problems. Automatic car washes can get the filter a little wet, but that's where the hydroshield comes into play.
Nice, I have the same one but I don't expect any power gain. It just sounds great and makes it a lot more fun to drive, the VTEC crossover is SO loud on short ram intakes
If roughly 5k or less for that mileage, and decent chassis, do it! Just bought a 2002 Type S with 257,000 miles on it. Literally hardly anything wrong with it. VTEC kicks good, and suspension is only minorly worn out. Engine and trans running strong as hell tho for quarter million miles!
Hi! New subscriber here, was just wondering how’d you get blue stitching on your steering wheel? Are you using one of those covers you kinda sew by yourself?
That engine sounds so healthy, thank you for the comparison I’m definitely working to get an intake at some point
Did you try to dyno tune after install intake? All other parts were stock? Header, exhaust etc?

@@luedetailing7331How did you like the car after the tune? That looked like a pretty big gain. May I ask why you decided to go back to stock?

Yea the injen CAI is definitely on the list since i wanted to compare the dyno of CAI vs short ram but it probably going to be awhilw

Ever since I put mine it kinda hissed when I accelerate is my filter leaking ?
Do you think buying a 200k+ mileage stock type s is worth it? As a daily
How much?

Yep last owner say he never change the clutch and now im about to hit 180k miles with the stock clutch

Yea, just a diy kit from amazom/ebay. My brand is by Mewant or something like that. It took me 7 hours to do it, so pretty time consuming lol
@@luedetailing7331 great job on it, looks immaculate! Definitely going to order one now! Can’t wait to see what else you do with the build!
Thanks for the videos, did you add a steering wheel wrap? What kind is that?
just the Mewant wrap from Amazon, very time consuming though and take awhile to make it clean and smooth
