making the shelter, stay dryer, closing up the walls, sure looks good Joshua and having a comfortable bed has to be the go. Do enjoy what you do and keeping everything very simple with a really nice wood stove, there is nothing like a good roaring fire during a rain downpour. very pleasant and homely indeed. cheers

There's no shortage of dead spruce near your shelter . I imagine you will still be working on it to close the opened sides. Where you nervous to know that people hunt near your shelter and could dammage it ? Thanks for the video

Nice to get out and do some more work on the shelter. It's taking shape and looking great while being roomy inside. I'm going camping in the desert next weekend and keeping meals minimal and simple (basic pantry items this time). It's good to try different camping meals (simple to really chefing it up) and glad to see you are getting out and enjoying yourself, too. Cheers! Pete - KI7LIL

@@JoshuaGammon Easy trip next weekend, just going to Quartzsite (2 hour drive) for a couple of nights in the desert (mid 60's F during the day and low 40's F overnight with calm breezes). You should be getting some snow to add to your camping adventures soon? Curious how you build a roof on the shelter to hold the snow load. I'll be staying tuned-in to find out!

Ya the wood stove is going to be nice when the snow fly's. The taper is just stuff from the hardware store.

So how long did it take to build?
Because most of the wood was from the broken tree stay not to long. It's hours but manageable.

Geez you are either rich or given free stuff all over the place. That wood stove alone in $1300+ a fold out stand $139 and the kettles and pots $69+.... seriously. Fk that. I can build myself one with either old bricks or old computer desktop bases. Who would pay 1300 to go out "glamping" like you do. Have the food almost ready, the roof is a tarp, etc.
