Great video but… doesn’t anyone use a modern Bic lighter anymore?.. got a modern tent…with a modern wood stove… gotta be all bush-crafty, With a magnesium fire starter. 😂…
A modern tent and wood stove isn't much good with a damp/wet bic lighter that doesn't work. A faro rod works in all weather everytime. 👍. It's smart planning when your alone in the woods.

a bic lighter is not as reliable as a ferro rod. a big lighter gets wet, or you leave it out in the rain, it's dead. a ferro rod gets wet, and it's fine.

Hanging comfortable outdoors in a lite falling snow is really beautiful and peaceful. That tent design is nice for such a situation

Winter camping in such a beautiful place. Winter in Korea where I live is cold, but it is difficult to camp in such a beautiful place. There is not much snow this winter. I enjoyed watching the video. If I have a chance someday, I want to camp in a wonderful place like this.

@@JoshuaGammon the really nice thing, it does not require lines to attach to a nearby tree. this is big plus (no tree's at the claim) for me.
@@zemetrius Ya that's right. There are tab at the two peaks of the tent so you can if you want to run a rig line and do the tree thing. Very well thought out tent.

You'll be happy. Tipi tents are great but I personally love the baker style. I love the fact you can open the side and get a open feeling to the woods then close it right up into a cave.
I like seeing people camping like this.. They have good camping tents, so their safety and health are maintained.

great video, you made putting up the hot tent look so easy. i am jealous of anyone who lives around tree's like this, i live in las vegas nevada, its pretty much all desert and rocks. the gold claim i go to, it does not snow very often, but it does get cold in the winter, this could be a nice rig to have on overnight trips to the claim.
It's not really a hard tent to setup. Just like anything takes a little more time that just a tarp. More ya do it the faster you get too.

That looks like the first hot tent you'd get, to see what it was like, and immediately wish you had something more rugged. Looks like it'd be toasty in there, though, and an easy setup.
It's really a light weight but strong tent. Took a lot of weight and did great
Snow in my county is absolutely rare. I hope one day i can enjoy that scene. :D
