- It’s certainly easier to make assumptions about people than it is to spend time getting to know someone. We wanted to put assumptions to the test to see what we're missing out on because we're so busy assuming we already "know" a person. Join us as we discover why you should never judge a book by it’s cover in our series, Reverse Assumptions.
We are all conditioned with certain biases. In this experiment, we challenged these biases by asking people to make assumptions about their partner's appearance without ever actually seeing their partner. When they flipped around to finally face each other, they were shocked by how wrong they were.

Travis is totally an actor. He appeared in the Mormon film "17 miracles". He's absolutely fantastic in it. Made me cry. I immediately recognized him from the thumbnail. Very cool guy. Sad he's in a wheelchair now, because he used to be able to walk with crutches. Love him!
I reconignized him too! i love that movie so much and i m really glad that he doesnt let his diabliity get in his way. (Fun fact my aunt was portrayed in that film my great great great great aunt was anne jewel rowley.)
don’t worry! travis being in a wheelchair doesn’t necessarily mean he can’t walk with crutches anymore. many wheelchair users have the ability to walk with or without mobility aids but use their wheelchairs on days where their mobility is decreased/pain is increased or their day plans require more mobility/walking.

I have no idea why she thought he was 5'10". The voice should've tipped her off that he was small.
I would've estimated that he's below 5 feet, and I'd be right.
Maybe she was trying to refrain from being too judgmental. I'm sure she had an idea but didn't want to say something like, "Hmm... I picture you as being 4'4." Even though that is somewhat accurate (I'm not sure of his precise height), you wouldn't want to guess that and be completely wrong, either, so you default to the typical male height - 5'10. At least, this would have been my thought process.

People always assume that I like to be called adorable and I'm a tag along because I'm the youngest and it's really annoying because people automatically assume I don't deserve to be with with adults and I'm too young to be certain people. Mentally I'm probably older than you, so don't judge me cause I'm ten.
