    Some of the best stuff about grading cards is is guessing what you think they'll get and then getting them back and they're better then what you thought. Nice stuff guys.

    Love the channel brother. Recently bought a 1000 ct box of 90-97 cards. About 90% of the cards were rookies to my surprise and a very nice haul of topps chrome baseball, fleer metal basketball and wayne gretzky/mario lemeux cards. Notably Mariano Rivera rookie card, terrell owens rookies, brian dawkins rookies, chipper jones/arod rookies. Brian Dawkins SELLS FAST. I was amazed at how quickly his cards go and for good money too.

      Yeah, I and my wife (as we deal in collectibles) always are honest...and it has paid off in severe customer loyalty. I've been at shows where clients come by and say, "Yeah, I was going to spend $100 with that ASS at the table across from you..but he treated me like crap. I'm going to spend it with you instead!" Nothing like "spite business" at a show.

    Correction about the 1975 Topps minis. They were were distributed in packs and not vending machines as you can still buy full boxes with the packs sealed. They were a test product from Topps to see if kids would buy smaller versions of cards as Topps could use less cardboard by printing more cards on a sheet. They were primarily distributed in Michigan and surrounding states to test the market. They sold horribly and Larry Fristch in Stevens Point Wisconsin ended up buying the majority of the cases that went unsold as he did with the 1972 Topps 3rd series football boxes. Topps next major test wasn’t until they tried poly packs instead of wax packs for the 1985 Topps base set and those too were mainly distributed in Michigan.

    • @CoachTabe
      @CoachTabe ปีที่แล้ว

      Correction - the second test packs were 1983 not 1985.
