I think you hit the jackpot re the type of food available. Have been to Thailand and from what I've seen the food in the Phils doesn't appear to compare regarding quality, variety and availability. Every small town in Thailand seems to have great food but not from what I've seen in the Phils videos I've seen. If I were wanting to live long term in the Phils, it would definitely be in a place like this where the food choices and availability looks fantastic. That chunk of tuna looked amazing. Malaybalay looks to have a lot going for it, not to mention the cooler weather as well. Not sure I could stay in a small place like that for a month but it is definitely a way to save money. But, i keep thinking I'd be better off somewhere in the Cebu Providence which gives easy access to many of places with the awesome airport and a quick 2 hour ferry ride to Bohol for example. CDO's airport is kind of a hassle. I guess I'll make another trip down. Butuan City I remember as being beautiful as well, but housing prices have really climbed there. That's WHY we don't SUPPORT all these TH-camrs... cause when u ask em a they NEVER give u straightforward answers... this dude l asked about the rentals he gives rounding answers... that's why l just UNSUBSCRIBED him....all of em tells u unrealistic reality for their TH-cam Ads..... that's all they want to make some TH-cam money....
