In this video you will get THREE more exercises to start building a stronger head voice. THESE EXERCISES WORK! THEY WILL BUILD POWER INTO YOUR VOICE!!!!!!!
Hi there, thanks for great videos, very appreciated! But isnt that a Falseto ? I am a bit confused, I have a problem with my bridge right at the A4, but when singing fully. My range is from D2 to F#5, and when I get to C5, my voice is back nice, full and round, with full colour. But A,Ab and B is a hell... very unstable, weird.
@@Myckey6 Insane range. Your low note implies Bass. Your upper notes imply tenor. Amazing. See if this helps you figure out falsetto....:www.powertosing.com/how-to-sing-falsetto-vs-head-voice/
@@PowerToSing Thank you, I was practicing years, also at the opera school in Prague, but I like more rock belting, I made some of your exercises you have on YT today, and it warmed me up and helped. I cant stop doing basic exercises!! thanks. Also very important is to focus on releasing and relaxing the jaw and the neck, wide open! I will check you link, very much appreciated mr.!!
Practicing these excersises is slow bring back my headvoice range and allowing me to sing higher and more stable in my mix voice. I used to strain from pulling chest now I’m more aware to point where even when I sing I don’t strain anymore but this is excersise I’m looking for because my headvoice is powerful until about a B4 than it goes airy between C5-F5 and F5 is highest note in my mix but if I can bring back my full range all the way up to B5 in headvoice than my mix range will drastically improved
Hi. I wish I could have the right words to thank you. I am your big fan. My search ended when I started to watch your videos. They are really changing something in my vocal folds. I am a physician and busy man. What is an optimum time to practice to make some good changes in once voice. Reply is appreciated
Hi Mohammad. I'm glad to hear this are helping you. Thanks for the feedback. Mr Seth Riggs recommends the length of practice be at least equal to the length of your performance. If you are not performing, then I think a focused 30 minute practice is capable of giving you great improvement if you do the exercises as demonstrated. That's more important than how long you practice. And consistency is also important. So rather than two hours once a week, daily practice minimum of 30 minutes will give you results. Good luck to you!
It does a lot of things. For some students it's a good substitute for bubble lips. It helps the student not to pull chest voice as they sing higher. It is excellent in helping students get into mix and head voice. It does a good job of relieving tension if done correctly. It's a fast way to see if you are raising the larynx or keeping the Larynx down. Just to name a few it does.
Hi Lorenzo: No not falsetto. Rather you should be in head voice. Falsetto is a disconnected tone, like what happens when you yodel. Head voice is a connected tone which will blend back into your lower voice without cracking. You are right. You don't want to use the full bottom voice up high. You can learn to use a full head voice, which doesn't strain. Watch this video and follow the directions. th-cam.com/video/d0Ob8WGmvPc/w-d-xo.html
Thank you Sir! I’m just wondering when do my head voice I feel like it’s not connected i feel like I’m changing from normal voice to head voice, It’s like I don’t know to to activate my head voice. What should I do to activate it?
Fortunately, if we do the vowels correctly, and sing without tension or reaching, the vibrations will go naturally into the head without us having to do anything else. It's hard to tell at first if you are in HV or Falsetto because both vibrate in the head. But if you feel a disconnect in tone on the way up...ie a crack or break that doesn't reconnect, or if you have to reconnect to get back into chest, it is likely you were in falsetto. Head Voice blends back into chest.
Power To Sing That’s what I feel all the time now I know that I’m in falsetto but for some songs I feel some sort of connection from chest voice but it’s sound breathy and it can’t hold for long. Is there some exercises I do? I appreciate that you’re responding
