As Canadian as the Rocky Mountains, the prairie fields, the Leafs/Canadiens or his native Maritimes..there was only one Stompin' Tom. Gone but not forgotten...eh. RIP.
No ads when you buy the premium subscription. One of the greatest Canadian musicians up there in heaven with Lightfoot. Will be missed. ‘Around the bay and back again’ is my favorite STC song.

Este hombre revolucionó el rockabilly clásico del gran Johnny Cash y lo catapultó a una nueva dimensión. Los directos de este hombre en algunos temas superan a veces y es cojonudamente difícil superar a J. R. Cash.
I loved how he handled that person chiming in from the crowd by saying "hey hey...when im done my show you can do yours' (at 3:37)" i was fortuante to see him 3 times in concert including Parliament Hill on Canada Day. He was the kind of perfomer who had so many stories to share and if you wernt singing along or dancing or simply sitting back and enjoying the show you were being disrespectful
Want to know why Canadians were some of the toughest and bravest soldiers in the two World Wars? Just listen to Stompin’ Tom and you’ll hear that “take no guff” attitude that was formed on the Canadian Shield, the shores and forests of the Atlantic and Pacific, on the farms and in the mines where we learned that hard work and a strong backbone were the best tools for achieving success - and of course having a good sense of humour to smooth some of our rough edges. We weren’t perfect. Our ancestors were invaders and it’s taken centuries to make up for that, but we’re trying now in our own fallible ways.
just found out about Tom through the u toob comments section. We were talking about earning $ as kids, picking tobacco. just started this vid, thanks for posting! ❤

I know his son really well sounds just like his old man!
The ketchup song is one of his best.
Y sorprendentemente podrían ser perfectamente hermanos gemelos sin serlo realmente porque en el careto son como dos gotas aguas auténticas y clavadas.
That early ad... CTV news with Lloyd Robertson.... Ad for a new Britney Spears album... Def 2009
It also has an ad for Tom's 2009 summer tour... As well as Lady Gaga's "the fame" CD.
