- I never thought we'd have Minecraft in the LEGO City, but I am often wrong.
This week in the LEGO City, we had a lot of fun with the builds! We went shopping for LEGO Minecraft sets to modify and add into the LEGO City. My husband, Ross, has been getting into Minecraft a lot lately, so we thought this could be a fun addition (even though I had no idea he was adding it until it was done). We also expanded The Shire (Lord of the Rings) to include more rolling hills, and even experimented with new techniques!

HELP! Which of the 3 options do you like best for where to place the LEGO Disney Pixar's UP house?
I think you should add the up house with the string between the 2 houses to make it look like it’s floating away!
I think you should put it next to the waterfall but not hanging in the air

Could you hang the house floating above middle earth going towards paradise falls??
Have it close to the waterfall but a little suspended off the ground with clear bricks.
I think you should put the up house in the downtown area! It looked good there, and suspending it midair just sound really risky. If it fell, the house break and the waterfall beneath would be damaged/break

Maybe on a string that you can lift up when you are building and let down when you are finished for the day?😊
That's awesome to hear that you have a LEGO city as well! It's always exciting to rebuild and expand your city. And building a Minecraft world sounds like a lot of fun too! Can't wait to see your updates. I also have a lego city and I recently redid everything
Of your three options, I like the idea of placing the Up house alongside of the waterfall. It is Paradise Falls after all!

If you place it on the falls, just as a little reference you could add a few furniture out for when Mr. Fredrick-son threw it all out of the house to make the house lighter.
All of it is looking great.
Hang the Up House over Paradise Falls with clear fishing line & pulleys. One pulley or wood screw eyelet loop over the center of table (where your head won't bump it) & another pulley at the top of a wall. Below that pulley (loop), add a hook to the wall at a reachable height. Tie a few loops in fishing line for adjustable height of Up House. Or make a LEGO winch for the fishing line.

I think the up house would look best between two big houses because if you hang it from the ceiling you can see the open back

Em, the Up House has to go...Up! Just mount it not from the ceiling but with something straight out from the wall just above the height of your other buildings, that's what I'm doing with mine.

I like the idea of using string to hang the Up House from the ceiling. I did that with my International Space Station set and it looks amazing in the Space section of my collection.
Hello! If anyone sees this I dont know ANYONE in the LEGO community & I'm very new to building random things for a city I'm putting together which is all currently Mils plated... I am currently building a MOC & its built on a 16x32 baseplate, should I A... mils plate the 16x32 baseplate, or B... just mils plate a 32x32 baseplate and build it on top of that so it fits better in the city?? I just need any sort of suggestion if that makes sense to anyone, thank you so much! ❤❤❤
