  • The Nike Invincible Run 3 is a max cushion daily trainer from one of the most celebrated brands on the planet. But is this shoe for the masses? I'm talking about us wide footed runners, too!
    Time to take them for a run!

    I’ve ran in invincible run 3’s for about a year now, and I will say that they held up amazingly for me. Recently though, I have realized that as my foot has grown, I am having wider feet. Currently obsessed with the look and feel of the invincible model, so I’m thinking about buying the wide model. Anybody have thoughts on that wide model? Is it better?

    I have the same problem as you. Nike has been impossible to use for me the last 10-15 years due to my wide feet and tall arch. But to my surprise the new Vaporfly 3 is pretty wide and I was able to make it fit when sizing up one size. It has now been my race shoe for 2 months and I relly enjoy it. I like the Zoom X foam so good that I tried the Invincible 3 in a store a few days ago. It was a little bit narrow even when I went half a size up so i dropped it. But I have not been able to forget the underfoot feel so I might go back and buy it in an even larger size😅

      I hope that works for you! I understand you’re struggle 😅🏃🏻

    These just did not work for me either. I also found that the hard plastic ring around the bottom of the heel aggravated my foot.

    I never saw that colorway.. for a moment i thought it was customized by you lol. the only problem i had was a minor heel slippage but it was minor. . I did have to return it as the outsole started peeling off after 2 miles lol. I always go half size up in my running shoes but this one actually had more than enough room for a TTS and i have wide feet too. I think you're the first reviewer to say you went half size up. I think its that specific colorway idk.

    I also had to go one size up because of my wide feet. Even then I needed to wear thinner socks whenever I run in these. Makes me wonder how these would compare to Vomero 17s when those finally drop.

      Don’t know if you ended up trying the Vomero, but as someone who has kinda regular feet I can say they felt VERY wide for me. Might be an interesting option for people with wide feet.

    I must be the lucky One who has no issues with premium Nike running shoes...The Invincible Run is a shoe that barely needs an introduction. It’s among the most (if not the most) comfortable max-cushioned trainers that we put on our feet. No heel slippage for me. The breathability test is a solid 4/5. Takes me 30 seconds to lace them up. Definetly not a shoe for you, it's like giving NUTS to some One that has no teeth.

    I also bought some Vaporfly 3s ( which are definitely fast) but I think I prefer the feel of Lightstrike Pro foam, which is much less bouncy. It’s weird how Nike can’t produce decent running shoes (apart from the Vaporfly/Alphafly). I’m looking at the Puma Magnify or Saucony Triumph for a cushioned shoe - any thoughts on those?

      I just bought my brother a pair of the Triumph 20s and he loves them. Great all around shoe and the PWRRUN foam is 👌🏻

      The Triumph 20 have been wonderful for me. As a heavy runner I find that most of the max cushion style shoes bottom out, but not the Triumph 20. Great shoes and they are on sale!

    What shoes do you recommend for people with wide feet?

    • @chris_jonzey
      @chris_jonzey  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MarkoAssi_pokervlogger I’ve had really good luck in Saucony and ASICS shoes for the most part! But all models are different. As far as a super daily trainer, I can easily recommend the ASICS Superblast and the Saucony Kinvara Pro for max cushion.

      Are you just on your feet all day? A shoe I’m wearing now (review soon) is the Brooks Ghost Max, it’s a new model. I love it for just being vertical and walking.

      Regular ultraboost, not the light one. You need stable but not too hard shoe.
