I really enjoy watching my two favorite neighbors having fun when working, which seems all the time, lol. Quick tip, drying the top of those concrete posts, put charcoal lighter fluid on top and light it. it will dry out. Now you guys embarrassed me to go outside and do some work, lol.
Ha! I asked him if we should pour some gas on it and catch it on fire, but he said I wasn’t allowed to do that. Ha! Thanks for the tip. Happy shoveling!

I have a propane torch you could have used to dry the concrete. You're making good progress on the deck. Looking forward to sitting on the deck with a homemade root beer this summber
Yes!! Deck time, Bill! Deck time! And we ain’t waiting til summer! I better get us a batch of rootbeer brewing! I’m thinking rootbeer deck time in March! We had one of propane weed burners, but we burned it all up. Ha! I’ll let Reeve know you have that propane torch. Thanks for the offer friend.

Guys 21° is not warm. It's not even cold. It's not freezing either. It's BELOW FREEZING and that is NOT warm. Alaska people amaze me.

Hey Simone? We definitely use them when we go in long snow machine rides. We put them in the bottom of our boots to keep our toes warmer inside the bunny boots. 😊

I don’t think we had to warm up much the first day we did that deck. We worked outside again yesterday, and it was single digits, it took me about an hour and a couple of good shivers to get warm back up. Reeve is way cooler than me. He never gets the shivers and he’s outside all day long many, many days. Must be the beard. 😉
