Alkalinity may not be what you think. To balance pH, you need to focus on a balanced diet of alkaline and good acidic foods. Many healthy and great foods such as blueberries, apple cider vinegar, sauerkraut and lemons are actually acidic.
Follow a nutrient-dense diet that is high in alkaline foods such as these:
    1) Green Leafy Vegetables - chlorophyll helps to detox
    2) Berries & Fruits - some are alkaline and some acidic but are nutrient-dense
    3) Bone Broth - Amino acids and minerals from the bones are very alkaline - draxe.com/the-h....
    4) Spirulina and chlorella - add super greens powder to a smoothie
    5) Herbs - cilantro, parsley, dill and basil - fresh or dried
    6) Spiritual Triathlon - Getting your emotions in control can help your body stay alkaline
5 minutes - What are you grateful for in your life?
5 minutes - Read a devotion, Bible or personal growth book
5 minutes - Pray or meditate
Draxe.com has more great articles on alkalinity as well as how to use food as medicine.

Love that you spoke on Bone broth! Just discovered it a few months ago. I am eating about 10 cups of green leafy organic salad daily and a big cup of bone broth, I cut out all the refined carbs and all gluten, and it’s amazing how good I feel. Week by week, I am overcoming 25 years of fast food addiction. I am down 50lbs with 50 to go, and for the first time in many years I see a future of health. Thanks so much for including God in your medical ministry, I really appreciate your video!

Thank you for a balanced approach! The body is alkaline AND acid! I got on the ''alkalize everything" bandwagon years ago and finally realized it was a BAD IDEA to mess with the body's pH. Our bodies are designed to stay in balance in every area when we give it what it needs to do that!

When I was a student living in a dorm room with a hand/face washing sink. I developed a habit of using that sink for urinating instead of getting out to the shared bathroom. In my third year, I had a clogged sink and when I opened I saw rock hard sand smelling of nothing but urine. I researched only to find out that urine had sediments associated with acidic consuming people. Gave me a shock to change my ways that way and never repeated such lifestyle again. I was eating too much protein and sugar from shakes. My mornings were also full of coffee, eggs and sugar which I now stopped it for just porridge.

I like this guy not only info but SPIRITUALism--not so much direct but he gives ppl a reminder which is better then being forced or instructed BY man TO another man, woman or child...
Men & Women, aim for natural organic plant foods. Yes some vital foods are ACIDIC, in its physical form; but when burned transmutes to ALKALINE. Once food is consumed it will be broken down & digested, producing an alkaline ash/"gas" within the body's furnace(aka STOMACH). Ultimately this is how a human, through homeostasis, feeds the blood, cells, glands, organs, and body.

We got off the water for 4 months and our stomachs healed up. Then tried the kangen again and got our stomach ulcers back. Sold the thing online- hope it does better for someone else.

They say that it might lessen your stomach acid. So who is right here or is it more complicated?

Dr. Axe, please google alkaline tide, carbonic anhydrase with the co-factor zinc and parietal cells in the gut. The mechanism that makes HCl for the gut creates the alkalinity in the blood. CO2+H2O and carbonate results in HCl and carbonate ion. Zinc is critical for alkalinity. Apparently we don't use acid in the diet to make our stomach acidic at all. Peace and thanks

,Sugar, bread, root vegetables, alcohol, all artificial sweeteners [only stevia allowed] ,all beans except green beans, cheese, honey etc., oatmeal, pasta, peanuts, pork, rice,. It seems very restrictive , but after a couple of days, you realize you're eating healthier than you probably ever have & feeling much better! And you're actually probably eating more than you're used to . The main thing is you're getting your body to a more alkaline state, & moving toxins out of your body. Also all water is not only purified, but also alkaline. If I can do it @ 67 , anyone can!

@@Hveragerthi you sound like someone that knows a lot about it... but the thing i dont understand from your point, is that you call the alkalizing the propaganda.............. but........... what do those people that say alkalizing the body have to lose with telling that to people?... nothing............. the only ones that are having something to lose in this discussion is the big pharmaceutical companies that try to tell people alkalizing the body does not help to cure cancer
a package of baking soda is like 1 euro, if someone can heal from cancer just for 1euro, they are going to lose billions of dollars because of this.... that is enough money to pay a million people like you making fake youtube channels to indoctrinate people and tell them it is all a hoax i am not sure who to believe anymore, but all i know for now it that taking baking soda helps when i get a heartburn.
you aks me to explain how baking soda can alkalize, but you say the stomach acid makes it acid............. have you ever heard about medication that is taken under the tongue and enters the blood-flow via the mouth, before it even enters the stomach at all? explain that to me first.

I can't cook and I never know what to get at the grocery store, I live off of fast food and my idea of a balanced diet is a burger washed down with diet soda and a multi vitamin. I don't eat vegetables that often besides the tomato slice in my burger or a couple roasted jalapeños I'll grab with my Mexican food.

LEMON. Amazed how confusing this fruit is in terms of pH of the body. Even the health professionals couldn't deliver this.

Bones, well if folks can remember why mom's chicken soup healed you was because the whole chicken was used to make the broth, same with stews etc cooked with the bones, in Russia they cook bones for just the broth as we all did many years ago. So, go buy a organic chicken or beef bones make any kind of dish, so many, but cook with the whole chicken, there is your nutrition.

Spinach has a starch base. It was engineered 2,000 years ago in Italy. It’s acidic. And it blocks iron and calcium to be absorbed in the body. Same with broccoli.
