Hello, this was so helpful. I apply yesterday through a website called Travelassist.us.com and I just realized that the information on their application form was in some way different from this one. Furthermore, I was baffled because they were asking to pay $159 for processing which I found weird and I declined from going further. Please is it possible that I can try again using this US Department of state site for my visit visa?

Unless the consul asks for it, it's better not to mention her if di ka naman talaga makikipagkita sa kanya. Just be honest po na you are just going to visit, travel and enjoy US in your tour. Less words less mistakes. and dagdag ko din maganda para sa mga consul mapakinggan yung you will travel on your own which is independent ka at kaya mo talaga ma-sustain ang travel mo just by your own expenses. I need to apply for a US visa for my parents from Pakistan. My younger brother is in the US and a US passport holder as he was born there but we had to come back as a family. Now it's been over a year and my parents want to visit him and I came across a question while filing the DS-160 Form which says that has one filed an immigration petition on your behalf. So yes they have but that was a long time ago about 18 years ago and the petition was filed but we had been granted leave for a humanitarian and emergent reason. So what do we explain in this part of the process?

Hello Karen! 1. yung middle name po together with your first name 2. Oh I see. You have to click the "Add Work Experience" (there is a button there) to create another entry for previous work experience. same thing po with education and training. Hope this helps :)

Hello Bro did you try uploading using a PC or laptop? and also try Chrome browser. If it doesn't work try IE or Firefox. Before uploading the photo also please clear the cache and start a new browser. Hope this helps!
Nice. I have a doubt. Address to be filled is same as in passport or the present address which is different? I got the passport almost 9 years back and my passport has the old address and I have shifted to my native permanantly. I have my all my documents i.e Voter i d, Driving licence, Aadhar etc in my new address only.
Hello Chandrasekaran, sorry for the late response, been busy for the last couple of days coz of Raptors NBA. There is no field for "Adress in the passport" in the application form. It's only home address, simply put your current address in the form not the address in the passport. hope that helps and again sorry for the last response.

Nope, honestly won't affect your application and mas ok nga na wala ka kakilala more chances pa kasi you are independent and US knows that you are financially capable to traveling and staying in the US

Good to hear that it solved your issues :) after you complete the ds-160 form, you will need to go to another website (link in the description box) and schedule your appointment, part of this process is paying your fee.
you mean the Application Number? You done submitting your application already? please check your registered email, it will contain your DS-160 application number.

sorry again for the late response. put the city where the airport is located. in my case, the airport is in LA so I put LA. Travelling with family you need to just include all the name of the person travelling with you. Please choose "Other"

I think you are talking about this question? "Have you made specific travel plans?" If you answered yes, just provide the details of your flight, but if you answered no just provide an estimate. of course you have a chance of getting approved, don't worry too much it will be okay trust me been there :)

hello po dulce so sorry mejo natagalan po ang reply ko kasi mejo busy sa raptors for the last couple of days hehe. mabuti champion raptors ang galing nila Kawhi. anyway back to ds-160, ako ang inuna ko noon is fill out ng application form kasi pre-req sya sa pagbayad ng application fee. yung interview sked mo naman is usually two weeks after you file your application po. So if i were you ang gagawin ko is, complete the DS-160 form, siguro mga 2-3 hours complete naman na yan, then pay the application fee, and schedule for interview. ganyan po talaga ang process hehe step by step sya hehe. to book a sched, dapat po ma-complete ung application form and you have paid the fee. sorry again sa late reply :)

Hi, I graduated from college 2 yrs ago. Then I worked for about 2 yrs but recently I quit my job because I am pursuing further education (Masters degree). How do I fill up the work/education/training section? The reason I'm visiting US is to attend the wedding of my sister. I will be the one paying for my trip using my savings from working for almost 2 yrs. Since I am a student now, I just put there the institution and it did not lead me to the previous work/education/training section. Do you think that's okay and likely get approved? Thank you!
Hello Gen! Good to know you are taking a nice vacation to the US for your sister's wedding. This is a very good reason of coming to the US and you are likely to get approved! The work/education/training section should appear in any of the sections when you fill out the form. If you haven't submitted the application yet, you can always come back by putting in your Application ID and then add them issing info. I would do that because they want to know specially your work experience.:)
If you can't put a later date to a certain field no problem, I wouldn't put that info in the form BUT in the interview I will mention this to the consul

Last night, I started filling out my ds160, however fell asleep and I wasnt able to finish it. I am somewhere in the middle, I think I am at the Address and Phone part. I also had a copy of my Application ID. Now, I went back to their homepage, and it prompted me to enter my Application ID, as I was trying to enter, Application Error would appear all the time, I tried using different laptops. And I encoded it a couple of times already. But still I would get the same result. Do you have any idea what seems to be a problem? Part of my option was to just make a new application. I would really appreciate your help with this one. Thank you so much. 🤗❤️
If I were you I would create another application. As long as you have not submitted the previous application that's totally fine to create a new one. To me it looks like the Application ID you enter to log in is incorrect, you might be using a wrong number so I would create a new one. :)
Did you make a new application already? Been trying to retrieve also but its always error application and i cant click the start application also i dont know why its just always like that.

What if I have been working in Middle East countries but when am filling my Ds 160 where they ask if I had ever been out of the country, if I say no and yet I have been out of the country will they know because I Wil have a different passport?

And the internet cafe there is far and they gave me like 30 minutes to get my application. So i need to re schedule my appointment again. It sad and its a waste of money flying there.. 2. Oh I see. You have to click the "Add Work Experience" (there is a button there) to create another entry for previous work experience. same thing po with education and training.

Hello Bro did you try uploading using a PC or laptop? and also try Chrome browser. If it doesn't work try IE or Firefox.
Before uploading the photo also please clear the cache and start a new browser. Hope this helps!
Nice. I have a doubt. Address to be filled is same as in passport or the present address which is different? I got the passport almost 9 years back and my passport has the old address and I have shifted to my native permanantly. I have my all my documents i.e Voter i d, Driving licence, Aadhar etc in my new address only.
Hello Chandrasekaran, sorry for the late response, been busy for the last couple of days coz of Raptors NBA. There is no field for "Adress in the passport" in the application form. It's only home address, simply put your current address in the form not the address in the passport. hope that helps and again sorry for the last response.

Nope, honestly won't affect your application and mas ok nga na wala ka kakilala more chances pa kasi you are independent and US knows that you are financially capable to traveling and staying in the US

Good to hear that it solved your issues :) after you complete the ds-160 form, you will need to go to another website (link in the description box) and schedule your appointment, part of this process is paying your fee.

sorry again for the late response. put the city where the airport is located. in my case, the airport is in LA so I put LA.
Travelling with family you need to just include all the name of the person travelling with you.
Please choose "Other"

hello po dulce so sorry mejo natagalan po ang reply ko kasi mejo busy sa raptors for the last couple of days hehe. mabuti champion raptors ang galing nila Kawhi. anyway back to ds-160, ako ang inuna ko noon is fill out ng application form kasi pre-req sya sa pagbayad ng application fee. yung interview sked mo naman is usually two weeks after you file your application po. So if i were you ang gagawin ko is, complete the DS-160 form, siguro mga 2-3 hours complete naman na yan, then pay the application fee, and schedule for interview. ganyan po talaga ang process hehe step by step sya hehe. to book a sched, dapat po ma-complete ung application form and you have paid the fee. sorry again sa late reply :)

Hi, I graduated from college 2 yrs ago. Then I worked for about 2 yrs but recently I quit my job because I am pursuing further education (Masters degree). How do I fill up the work/education/training section? The reason I'm visiting US is to attend the wedding of my sister. I will be the one paying for my trip using my savings from working for almost 2 yrs. Since I am a student now, I just put there the institution and it did not lead me to the previous work/education/training section. Do you think that's okay and likely get approved? Thank you!
Also, my issue is, enrollment hasn't started yet so I can't put later date for the 'start date'.
Hello Gen! Good to know you are taking a nice vacation to the US for your sister's wedding. This is a very good reason of coming to the US and you are likely to get approved! The work/education/training section should appear in any of the sections when you fill out the form. If you haven't submitted the application yet, you can always come back by putting in your Application ID and then add them issing info. I would do that because they want to know specially your work experience.:)
If you can't put a later date to a certain field no problem, I wouldn't put that info in the form BUT in the interview I will mention this to the consul

Hello po, I really appreciate you making this very informative video. I would just like to ask some help. Last night, I started filling out my ds160, however fell asleep and I wasnt able to finish it.
I am somewhere in the middle, I think I am at the Address and Phone part. I also had a copy of my Application ID. Now, I went back to their homepage, and it prompted me to enter my Application ID, as I was trying to enter, Application Error would appear all the time, I tried using different laptops. And I encoded it a couple of times already. But still I would get the same result.
Do you have any idea what seems to be a problem? Part of my option was to just make a new application.

If I were you I would create another application. As long as you have not submitted the previous application that's totally fine to create a new one. To me it looks like the Application ID you enter to log in is incorrect, you might be using a wrong number so I would create a new one. :)
Did you make a new application already? Been trying to retrieve also but its always error application and i cant click the start application also i dont know why its just always like that.
@@Lifelovepurpose yep I did before. I just created a new one coz I had some issue with the application number too. much easier to create a new application but make sure to copy your application ID next time

Are you trying to print the front page of the form? I normally just right click and then print page.
