Too Much Heaven is a must. These 3 brothers were the kings of disco when I was a teen in the 70's. However, they have been performing all different kinds of music since the 50's. Not to mention they are some of the most prolific songwriters in the history of modern music . over 1,000 songs. They wrote songs for a whole lot of other artists as well as for themselves. In the picture behind you have you have Barry Gibb (oldest) in the middle and the twins , Robin on the left and Maurice (Morris) on the right. They also had a younger brother, Andy Gibb, who had a solo career. Unfortunately, Barry has lost all 3 of his younger brothers and is the only Gibb brother left.
This rabbit hole runs DEEEEEEEEP AB! They started in '58 and have thousands of song recorded by them and others they wrote for, including one for Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers - Islands in the Stream. I saw the BeeGee's live in '97 at the One Night Only concert at the MGM Grand and it was so amazing! I think you can find it on TH-cam if you want to see how well they aged and THEY STILL HAD IT!!
Yes Aussie fan here. The Bee Gees were the greatest group ever. 50 years of great songs. Three brothers, the worlds best ever 3 part harmonies the greatest songwriters. Perfection.
Here’s a list of other great Bee Gee songs: Stayin’ Alive, Tragedy, More Than A Woman, Jive Talkin’, We Should Be Dancing and Too Much Heaven. All great songs
You're entering a whole different level of music listening to the Bee Gees now, you'll be a fan for life Saturday night Fever Fanny Jive Talking Night Fever 😎
You have got to listen to Too Much Heaven by the BeeGees. If you think Barry Gibbs had "soul" in this song... You ain't heard NOTHING until you hear those high notes, and runs he does in Too Much Heaven.
Fall into the rabbit hole! Too Much Heaven; Staying Alive; More Than a Woman; and Jive Talkin will show you their range and why they are absolute music LEGENDS!!
Pretty much everything they put out went to number one. Lol when I was in middle school in the 70s it was basically all you heard on the radio. Specially when Saturday night Fever and staying alive came out. My mother loved and still loves this group. She is 82!
3 brothers, 2 of which have passed. They had a younger brother who sang, who also has passed. Barry the tall one still is in the music business. Tons of hits for these brothers. Great 🐇 hole.
PLEASE , you must dive into the rabbit hole of the BeeGees !!!!!! There are so many GREAT songs for you to discover....Too much Heaven will give you a taste of the range they have....but they have SO many great songs !!! We will be here for the BeeGees, even almost 5 decades into their careers !!!!
"MoFro" 😂🤣 There is so much to explore with Bee Gees. You've hit a platinum mine. My favorites are Too Much Heaven, To Love Somebody, Love You Inside Out, and You Win Again.
"Too Much Heaven" Official video - Prepare to be blown away by the King of Falsetto - Barry Gibb and the unbelievable harmonies of brothers Robin and Maurice Gibb. "Stayin Alive" - You probably have heard part of this song, but listen/watch the video... There are too many hits to list - the catalog of songs is HUGE from the Bee Gees. GLAD you discovered them!
Bee Gees or "Brothers Gibb" are a family of Brothers from England. They started performing at age 8 or 9. They were on British tv as far back as 1965. They loved Motown, and R&B and really hit the bigtime in the "Disco" era of the mid to late 1970s. So many hit songs and albums. Great artists. Only Barry is still alive, and he's now in his early 70s, I think. Thanks
The Bee Gees are my all time favorite group. The only group that I never have to skip a single song. Please react to "I Surrender", "One", "Jive Talking" . When you finish with those there is always, "For Whom The Bell Tolls", You Should Be Dancing", and " Staying Alive". 🌟🎆👏💜👍🤩💙 P. S. Barry, the oldest of the 3 brothers, is the only one left. His twin brothers, Maurice (Morris), and Robin passed away several years ago. Barry is still writing and making music at the age of 76. More Bee Gees! 👏🤗
This song was #1 for 33 weeks. Every teenage girl and young woman was in love with these guys in the 70s & 80s, including me! 😍 15 when this one came out, I believe.
The Bee Gees or "Brothers Gibb" have written over 1,000 songs since the late 50's. They were big during the Disco era in the 70's when "How Deep Is Your Love" was released. You should react to "Too Much Heaven", also from the 70's Disco era. Thanks!
These guys wrote more hits for more different groups than I can even remember! You have no idea how many songs that they wrote that you've heard all of your life.
They are brothers all of them have passed away except for the oldest his name is Barry Gibb. I think he is still touring. You have a lot to listen to they probably be there been around for about 50 years. They did the sound tech track to Saturday night fever. Which you might not have heard of. Before your time. But the movie launched John Travolta‘s career. During the era of disco. But they were well known before then. My favorite song by them To love somebody
The Bee Gee's are awesome. There will never be another. Sadly, only one of the brothers in the group is left (Barry, the oldest. The twins are gone). Their younger brother Andy Gibb also had some great songs and left us way too soon. You definitely have lots of good music to choose from with these guys. They also have written ALOT of songs for other artists
Enjoy the Bee Gee's rabbit hole. All of their music is great! Stayin' Alive is next one you should here. They write all of their songs and songs for others too.
@@robertasirgutz8800 What is Quincy Jones' favorite R&B Song of all time? According to Maurice Gibb, producer Quincy Jones called "Fanny" one of his favorite R&B songs of all time.
It's great that you're starting the BeeGee's rabbit hole. You'll find them to be fantastic. They were brothers and were magic together. Barry, (oldest and tallest) also wrote, produced, and sang with Barbra Streisand on her album and it was on TV, too. You can find all on TH-cam.
Elvis is my favorite Singer, and the Bee Gees are my favorite group. Barry Gibb the oldest Bee gee released a Album in January of 2021 called Greenfields. It was old Bee Gees songs. He sang his song Words in a Duet with Dolly Parton. Barry still performs.
You’re about to hear the most beautiful voices and thee most amazing songwriters this world has ever seen. The rabbit hole is deep you will soon be bitten by the BeeGeesbug!
SO much fun watching young fellas getting their minds blown by un-tampered vocals and real instrumentation...especially the Bee Gees, Elvis, Queen and the Charlie Daniels Band (Old, old, OLD school country fried RAP...Devil Went Down to Georgia.). You make this Crazy Old White Grandma smile!!! THANK YOU!
The Bee Gees are brothers that have been singing and writing their own music since they were children. They have over 1000 copywritten songs to their credit, starting from the 1960's going all the way to the early 2000's. Not only did they have number one hits but wrote and produced number one hits for other artists.. Their harmomys are legendary. They had a little brother Andy, who had his own hit singles too. Saddly all the brothers have passed away except for the oldest brother Barry. And yes The Bee Gees still have a huge fan base .
" Too Much Heaven" and " You Should Be Dancing" are a MUST, AB!! I know darn good and well you've prob heard " Stayin' Alive", at least from a movie soundtrack..many many artists have sampled it also. This is the best rabbit hole ever!!❤️❤️ These men are from Australia, and the hairstyles are those sweet shag cuts from the 70's!😂😂❤️❤️
The Brothers Gibb (hence BEE GEES) One of the greatest groups ever. You can literally pick any decade and find something from them. Some I love, some not as much, but that doesn't take away from their brilliance. Sadly last I heard 2 of the 3 have passed away. So they aren't recording anymore. Their music lives on.
These brothers were born in the U.K. grew up in australia, in a very musically talented family. These three sang together as children, started playing at the local pub in Queensand as children. There is a documentary. By age 21, back in Britain, Barry had mastered his craft, he and his twin bros all collaborated to make unique music, from the fifties up until the others passed away. They have a younger bro Andy who made hits, until he passed suddenly and a sister who could fill in if one of the brothers couldn't make it. Barry put out a new album during covid.
You're entering a whole different level of music now listening to the Bee Gees, you'll be a fan for life Too much heaven Saturday night Fever Fanny Jive Talking Night Fever 😎
This was a baby borne in France by Barry first with the keyboardist Blue Weaver in the morning for the piano melody first, and later completed the whole song with the Gibb brothers Robin and Maurice...🎉❤😊 beautiful awesome baby....
Everyone seems to do the disco era of the Bee Gees but they are so much more than that. I grew up with this great group. Love their early music especially 60's-70's. Some of their early hits were "Spicks & Specks", "New York Mining Disaster 1941", "To Love Somebody", "Holiday", "Massachusetts", "World", "And The Sun Will Shine", "Really & Sincerely", "Words", "The Singer Sang His Song", "I've Gotta Get A Message To You", "Lonely Days", "I Started A Joke", "Melody Fair", "First of May", "Give Your Best", "Lamplight" etc.
One of the most prolific and greatest groups of all time. They had hits for decades. Their music was the soundtrack for the hit film Saturday Night Fever too. Check out the video of them singing Too Much Heaven.
I prefer their music from the late 60s & early 70s, but I can't think of any song they did that I don't like. I have never been a huge fan of disco, but even I had their Saturday Night Fever soundtrack album. "To Love Somebody" (1967) & "Words" (1969) are probably my 2 favorites.
Bee gees songs in my top fave list.... Run To Me, I Could Not Love You More, Too Much Heaven, New York Mining Disater, I've Gotta Get A Message To You, Blue Island, First Of May, .... . I could go on forever. There is such a vast catalogue of their songs 🎵
Okay I'm totally aging myself here, but the Bee Gees were the first concert I ever went to 🤣 and Andy Gibb their baby brother was a guest performer at the show ❤️you can look him up, he also sang. I'm a little vintage 🤣🤣 🤣
OH MY GOODNESS…..you’ve got so much to check out & learn from these suave brothers🎼!!! Can tell you one thing….if you continue doing these great reactions, your subscribers will dramatically increase👍!!
The primary difference between the Bee Gees and a lot of today's music is that they focused their songs more on melody and a heavy does of harmony in their vocals. Even in their dance inspired tunes (and they ruled the Disco era), the lyrics, lead vocals (often shared by Barry and Robin) and orchestration was heavily on melody rather than just the beat. Glad you found out about them and enjoyed it!
The Bee Gees...a cornerstone of modern music. Three brothers named Gibb. Barry Gibb, the eldest with the flowing hair and the beard, was the main vocalist on this. Robin and Maurice Gibb, are different looking fraternal twins...Maurice (pronounced Morris) is the bearded and balding one was the lower vocal on the chorus, Robin is the clean shaven one was the higher voice blending between Barry and Maurice. There is a fourth and youngest brother who had a solo career and was to join his brothers in The Bee Gees, but tragically passed away before he could official be a "Bee Gee". In fact, the sole surviving brother is Barry. Almost every phase of pop music from the 1960s to the 1990s had the Bee Gees as a part of the landscape, either as the band on top or as a band that inspired others, as well as their ability to write for many different artists across genres of music. There is a wonderful documentary about them on HBOMax...trust me, man...the Bee Gees rabbit hole is DEEEEEEEEEP! And this is my favorite song of theirs. Their hair...it was just long. They really just had it styled in the fashion of the era, in this case the 1970s.
I love the Bee Gees. I was fortunate enough to be able to see them in concert. They were all brothers and I think everything that they ever sang what's the number one hit
I didn’t lie to you when I said I you needed to listen to the BeeGees! their high notes will melt your face 😂 they are to high notes and tight trousers as Eminem is to rap music 😂😂
This group brought many couples together. The big hair of the late 60's and throughout the 70's was done by men and women. Most people remember them from the Saturday Night Fever disco movie with John Travolta. Have you reacted to Chicago or ELO?
The BeeGees are amazing- I agree! You’re not the only one who like to go back and hit play again! As mentioned you’ll love “Too much Heaven”. If you want disco check out Stayin Alive. I love Fanny Be Tender, Nights on Broadway, To Love Somebody and the list goes on and on! Probably one of the most successful singers and songwriters of our time!
Brothers Gibb - BGs. The tallest is the oldest, Barry. The other 2 are twins. Barry is the only one still alive. If you listen to "Stayin' Alive" you will realize that you not only have heard them before, you thought they were BLACK!
Oh man, I'm so jealous. First time hearings are so amazing. I can't wait. Emotions is also an amazing song, which was also covered by Destiny's Child (also a must listen) LMMFAO the mullet-fro. The 70s of it all. So here for it
A lot of their music is in the movie Saturday Night Fever. Stayin Alive is one of them. YT has a video of them singing with scenes from the movie playing. It's worth your time to see it. Great reaction as always AB! ❤👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. You are never forgotten. Rest in peace in God's hands. ❤
A small piece of their music is in the Saturday Night Fever movie. Four or five songs off of the album. They started singing together professionally when Barry was nine and the twins Robin and Maurice were six! Barry was writing lyrics and composing music at that time! Let that sink in then know that they couldn’t read music or play instruments! Barry got his first guitar when he was nine. Maurice learned keyboard plus guitar and other instruments. All self taught. Now you can begin to understand how incredible these three brothers were! The Bee Gees rabbit hole is a wonderful place filled with music for all moods and all emotion! You won’t regret a moment of listening to some of the best lyrics ever written sung and performed by the most beautiful harmonies you will ever hear… Enjoy!
Love the BeeGees and love their music. You are so safe with any song by them, they didn’t do a bad one! But my personal favourite in “Alone” Looking forward to more!
Gen X mom who raised a Swiftie here for the Taylor reactions, and getting redirected to the music of my childhood ❤❤. I remember my parents in their bell bottoms dancing to this song on the shag carpeted living room. (RIP Mom) ☮️✌🏼✌🏼
The long hair is just the style. This came out in 1977 & we liked our men with long hair! Love your reactions! You are fun & you are definitely feeling the vibe!❤❤❤
You have no idea what these gentlemen did during the 70's. Disco was the rage and they owned it in so many different ways. Try "Stayin' Alive". 3 brothers from Austrailia.....super awesome.
The BeeGees were probably at the pinnacle of their popularity in the 70's during the disco era. But their music spans decades. Sadly, Barry (the tall one that is usually in the middle) is the only one still living and he is the oldest of the brothers. They have a very long list of hits - Stayin Alive, Jive Talking, One, Alone, Tragedy, More Than a Woman, How Deep Is Your Love, Night Fever, How Can You Mend a Broken Heart, and many more. One of my all time favorite groups.

More than a woman was a great song too. Listen to the sound track from Saturday Night Live movie. Its mostly these guys.
I love the Brothers Gibb! Been a fan since 1967. 🥰
Too Much Heaven and you will fall in love with them.
This group brought many couples together. The big hair of the late 60's and throughout the 70's was done by men and women. Most people remember them from the Saturday Night Fever disco movie with John Travolta. Have you reacted to Chicago or ELO?
My fav by them is Fanny Be Tender.
Ima still a fan, 50 years later! feel good music! Thanks for making it real again. 🍁🍁🍁👍🏼🌸🌸🌸
Love the Bee Gees. That was my time. Disco! However, they have earlier songs too. One of my favs is , "Run to me." More Bee Gees please ❤️
SOOOO many great songs from them!!!! Songs of my youth... oh my goodness!!
Barry is the only one still alive... their younger brother, Andy Gibb, was a solo artist. He died at 30 from a heart attack.
Bee Gees. Oh you have no idea how good they were. But you’re about to! 😂
Some of the greatest music ever created by the Bee Gees. Great reaction. You just can feel the vibe.
Oh man, I'm so jealous. First time hearings are so amazing. I can't wait.
Emotions is also an amazing song, which was also covered by Destiny's Child (also a must listen)
LMMFAO the mullet-fro. The 70s of it all. So here for it
You really want to see "Too Much Heaven", it's a masterpiece.
👀👀👀
Like I’ve said before, I love when discover one of the best songs of all time for the 1st time. It’s a mind blowing song.
Love all tha Gibb brothers!
A lot of their music is in the movie Saturday Night Fever. Stayin Alive is one of them. YT has a video of them singing with scenes from the movie playing. It's worth your time to see it.
Great reaction as always AB! ❤👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Rev.
The Bee Gees are often imitated never duplicated. :)
Love the BeeGees and love their music. You are so safe with any song by them, they didn’t do a bad one! But my personal favourite in “Alone” Looking forward to more!
One of thee most beautiful love songs I’ve ever heard. Thank you BeeGees ❤
To much heaven is a must listen to
Amazing group the Bee Gees! I just love their music! Glad you're reviewing them!
Technically, you were right when you guessed 4 brothers. They have a younger brother named Andy Gibb. He had a solo career.
You’re doing more Bee Gees, I’m subscribing.
Absolutely one if the best groups of all time snd very distinctive!
Danced our lives away to them in the 70’s!!!!
