German medieval instruments are the harp, the lute, the portative, the psaltery, the rotta, the bagpipes, the hurdy-gurdy, shawm, flute, drum, and fibula.

This isn't Laura singing, but the old singers (both ladies are singing) Fiona (the blond one) and Sonja. Laura is in thze band since 2017.
The instrument you are looking for is a Nyckelharpa (key harp) it's a medieval instrument from the 14th century and was very popular in Sweden.
The Walpurgisnacht was and is a pagan and heathen holiday in the night to the first of May. We still have some tradions in Germany from the Walpurgisnacht. In that night we have something called Tanz in den Mai (so dance into may), where people dancing in clubs or bars or gather around fire and sing and dance. Also young lovers place a small may tree decoratet with ribbons in front of the apartment/ house of a loved one. (the girls in the video are dancing around a may tree und decorating it with ribbons)
I second the recomondation for FAUN ft. ELUVEITIE - GWYDION, it's awesome. Also Federkleid (feather skirt, we also call the plumage of birds a Federkleid in german) is another exceptionel good song from Faun. Greetings from Germany

Mrs. O. has an excellent taste in music. 👍
This song/video is from 2014/2015, the female vocalists have changed since.
Faun did collaborate with Saltatio Mortis on the song "Schwarzer Strand", which is from SaMo's current album Finsterwacht, very interesting video. The video for the title song is quite epic (and it has English subtitles).
That instrument is a Nyckelharpa, which I believe means key harp, the German name translates to key fiddel.
