LYRICS:
I packed my only guitar
In my Chevy Silverado
I drove down to the corner store
Gassed up and headed North
Said goodbye to mom and pops
Church parking lots roadblocks and potholes
Left my name my mama gave me
Right there rocking on the porch
Whoa
I never seen so much concrete before
Whoa
I ain’t in the country no more
I got woke up this morning to a choir of singing sirens
I went out barefoot to watch ‘em go by
Cut my foot on sidewalk glass
Gave a hungry man a dollar
He was begging, he was crying
A little later on he was drinking on
A 40 in a paper sack
Whoa
I never been got like that before
Whoa
I guess I ain’t in the country no more
No I ain’t in the country no more
Nobody talks like I do
Nobody here at all
No hell yeah hey y’all
But oh this raised on hard work boy’s
Gonna live a dream till he dies
I wish I was but I ain’t in the country no more
In the country no more
Go
I’m damn proud of my roots
My red wing boots and my blue collar
This chip here on my shoulder is a town I can’t let down
Lord knows I ain’t no Jesus but I’ll proudly be the martyr
Spread the word about that nowhere place that makes the world go ‘round
Whoa
I ain’t in the country no more
Whoa
No I ain’t in the country no more
Nobody talks like I do
Nobody here at all
No hell yeah hey y’all
But oh this raised on hard work boy’s
Gonna live a dream till he dies
I wish I was but I ain’t in the country no more
In the country no more
Go
No I ain’t in the country no more
I ain’t in the country no more
Go

This song lives rent free in my head Hardy. Thank you for this song. It describes my move from growing up country to now living in the city. You are a musical genius!
Given I'm a huge country and hard music fan, both - these latest hard rock spins from Hardy are AMAZING and just continue to showcase his killer talent, and across charts -- LOVE IT ♡🤘
Totally agree. Some people get downright offended when rock& country start to meld. Screw ‘em I love ❤️ it!!
Sounds x10 better than country rap in my opinion
So I've lived in Georgia, the Sip, Tennessee, and the Carolinas. I now live in Illinois. I first lived right outside Chicago, and God bless if this song doesn't make me think of that time in my life, very difficult. I now live on some land by the Wisconsin border thank God. Very cool song.
I'm from northern IL, so what are u saying? I'm from there, but not a burb. I'm from country there,it was a small farming community.
I’m from Illinois, grew up on dirt roads and farms been in Nashville for 6 years now. I sure do miss back home. Plan on moving to coastal Georgia in the next few years!
@@dylanadams6349 what part?
@Sayla P. Just saying that this song reminded of a time when I lived very close to downtown Chicago. It is not for me.
@Dylan Adams I never lived on the coast in GA, but visited Savanah, St. Simon's, etc. pretty frequently. I lived outside Franklin and Murfreesboro in Tennessee, but that was many years ago. My brother lives there still and it looks nothing like it did. I moved to IL from the OBX in North Carolina. I loved it. Worth looking there as well, much nicer beaches than Georgia.
Dude was destined for rock n roll!! Let's go!! LFCROW!!
Hardy just keeps pumping out some Hard Rock Bangers!
@Ordinary Opinion go outside
@Ordinary Opinion A7X is metal, not hard rock.
@Ordinary Opinion early stuff was metalcore, post nightmare is more of a rock/classic heavy metal direction
@Ordinary Opinion yeah if you like the metalcore shit like that with cleans and screams mixed in killswitch engage and trivium are bands you should check out. and then there’s more progressive shit like my favorite band between the buried and me with their record colors being probably the best piece of metal music i’ve ever heard in my life
@Ordinary Opinion nice man check out colors by btbam you wont regret it
This whole album is just a MASTERPIECE!! We're seeing history in the making, right here!! 🤘🏾🤠
Facts
@@Box_McLuvin And that is your opinion, and it's totally fine! 🤙🏾🤙🏾
@@Box_McLuvin 👍🏾
this guy has wrote ten number one country songs So he is the shit I love his stuff and so do thousands of others. If you dont like him why are you commenting on his youtube videos? Go find something you like and leave us alone
@@curtismoff It's not worth it to waste energy on this type of people, just let them talking alone, and let's jam to this M.A.S.T.E.R.P.I.E.C.E. of an album!! #LFCROW 🤘🏾🤘🏾
I can’t stop listening to this song. I literally get goose-bumps on the first heavy “Guess I ain’t in the country no morrrrrrre” part because it’s so great. HELL YEAH, HARDY!! 🔥❤️🔥🤘🤘🤘
One of my favorites on the album
I've always been a metal fan, mostly really heavy, like deathcore, but for whatever reason I really liked Lakeview when I first heard them. Lakeview got me in to country and Hardy has kept me here.
Lake view has a nasty breakdown or two
I’m heavy into metalcore, grew up on country though. I live up in the sticks of Minnesota, and Hardy has been the coolest fking artist I’ve ever came across! He does both do well
This song so resonates with me!!!! You totally nailed it. You put my thoughts and feelings into the lyrics! ❤
When people ask me to play music I always pick Hardy. A solid choice for those who like country and those who like rock. I am a huge fan of both, so finding an artist that feeds both is grade a fking awesome
Born and raised in St Paul Minnesota, but a Nish, Native American, Ojibwe (tribe), Rez girl from the Red Lake Nation Band of “Chippewa” Indians (reservation), I am, always be. I’ve been all around this world, seen it all, and I’m still me, nothing changed this Rez girl. And nothings beats being back home, back in the “country”, mother land, back in my Red Lake. Megwech/Thank You.
You rock Hardy.
f***ing LOVE-it! Go HARDY !!!!!!
They NEED to use this for the NASCAR Chicago race. It would be criminal not to
Holy Shit! This Song Is A Banger!! This DESERVES A Music Video!! New Favorite Album Here Now Beating The Greatest Showman
Unbelievable music!
Fuckkkkk arounddddd with the drop after the chorus 😮 🤘🏻
Pretty much sums us up in one song.. Brilliant. I haven't heard anything this good in a long time. Well done!
Man Hardy just took the rule book tore it up and wiped his ass with it. This is incredible 🔥 🔥
It's awesome isn't it? So refreshing
@@saylap.5392wiping your ass? Definitely agree
@@jgottsman1 no about Hardy taking the rule book & throwing it. But I guess wiping ass is the same. Wtf
@@saylap.5392 😂😂😂😂😂😁😁😁
@@jgottsman1 yeah so funny huh?
I caN hear some puddle of Mudd in here!! OmG HARDY I'm in love with this album.
I love Hardy so much! 🔥
My new fav song! I dont how this guy isn't more popular
Just getting started
It's not country
@@imaimashii1 doesn't matter. Talent is talent.
Future entertainer of the year.. don't stop brother 🙌
F'n brilliant!
Gonna start seeing mosh pits at the country show!! Hell yeah!!
I was having a conversation about that yesterday because we're going to go see him in Nashville in June😂 I Said I hoped they had one
This song takes me back to when I joined the Marine Corps. Just a kid from a small town in Georgia, ended up being stationed out in Cali.
Holy shit there’s a break down in this song lol I’m pumped. Hardy is the man!
Dammit Boy your new album is fire!!! ❤❤❤
How does hardy do it he screams and it sounds good surprisingly ❤
Yep... this album has knocked off all my country legends, and Staind Break the Cycle albums as my favorite album of all time! And it's not just because I'm another Mississippi boy, he's singing and creating what we grew up craving!!
damn brother!!! damn!!!! we have been waiting for u
heck yeah, this song HARD!!! 🤘
the best song ever
My guy hit a pig squeal at 2:12. What a LEGEND. BREEEEEEEE
Best song on the album. Intro reminds me of Drift and Die by Puddle of Mudd.
Man, this dude can do literally anything and make it great. I've been binging his music, and I can't get enough.
Same. Whole album SLAPS. The 1/2 country 1/2 rock songs are incredible. HARDY 🐐
We just saw him perform. He shared a little information about how many of his songs have hit #1 that he wrote and other people sang. He is definitely talented.
Awesome amazing song
@Hardy hey wassup, u r very much wel. I'm doing alright.
I haven't heard of Google chat
he really listened to the adtr boys love this!! keep this shit up
Hardy is badass love this song and his music!
This song came on at the appropriate moment…. As we pulled up to our house in NYC after having been in Ga and Fl for the past two weeks…. Why am I here?!
Never heard of him before TH-cam Suggested me to listen to this so I clicked it I’m hooked on it🔥🔥💯
This is one of my favorites in the album!!🤘🤘
Damn dude I heard jack on the radio like 3 days ago. I now I've love every song of yours I've hear.
Damn that rough carried out NO MORE at the end gives me chills bud . Rock hardy in the big rig everyday up here in the big north 🇨🇦
Woot! Woot! Wallen. You are on fire. Hot hot hot. Loving it. Please always come back to Tennessee. We country folk will be lovin yiu on the lake and river this summer. “Boating with Wallen”
Omg! Never heard music like this. Hardy is such a talent! I’m so impressed with everything.
As a Kid Rock fan for about 20 years, I'm thinking this guy is next in that genre-blending style
100%
1000% agree
If Hardy is smart he'll stay out of politics and double his audience. I think he is 100x as talented as Kid Rock.
@@coachtomas1492 thankfully he is smart and taken his right wing stance and made it known a while back. The less left wing trash thrown at us, the better.
@@NewKillerStar_34 #1 Kid Rock is absolute trash, let's be clear
#2 No problem with being a Republican - if Hardy is on board with Trump, Giuliani, Eastman, Stone, Bannon and Flynn headed to prison
This song SLAPS
This album is awesome
Why can’t this be a Rock single? The whole song is amazeballs, the last half is epic, when he yells GO! His band is stellar. One of my fav songs ever… I like living in a rural place but NashVegas is superfun to visit.
Hardy is a genius
Possibly the BEST HARDY SONG ! Guitar just Bangs!
my kids and i love hardy i let them listen to it and my youngest kid is 3 and he sings this song! LOL!🤣
"I'm damn proud of my roots." ❤ "I ain't into country nomore! " 3:21
This song goes SO damn HARDY… listening to it already repetitively on my break from work hanging out with my pups, about to take my blue collar ass back into work on this Fiber Hub and get the good people of South Carolina online. God Bless, thank you Hardy and y’all be safe out there! 🙏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸👊🏻👊🏻
This song goes so damn hard holy shit
This is my favorite song on the album pound for pound…let’s go
Oh yeah! Definitely Southern Rock! 👍🏻
This is frenetic!
I’m a (Indiana)* Farm Boy that lays asphalt in the season, when I get those big town/city jobs I blast this song every morning on my way to work
😮assome
I'm not sure how many times this just repeats in my truck!....🌀....... 🤘 Rock on Hardy!
I am really addicted to your songs, you nailed it ❤️, i am Moroccan by the way... country music 🎵❤️❤️🎶💯🍺
I was introduced to Hardy from the song jack…. Found myself in the track… “wait in the truck!”
And I’m finding mocking bird playlist to be one of my favorites these days!! I know there’s a platinum life story just waiting to be released…. Until then, my F150 gonna keep u on repeat!!!!
2:02 is omg
Hey ne
F'ing awesome tune MH!! Cant wait to see this live!! We'll be at the Troubadour on Monday nite at 7 pm. Hope you play this one!! Instant fav!! Rock that house!!!
Great tune...intro reminds me of Korn's "the camel song" from the "end of days" soundtrack!
Keep ot coming Hardy!!!!
SOUTHERN ROCK IS ALIVE AND WELLL THANKS HARDY
Need more songs like Jack excellent, crossover from country two Rock. Keep up the good work
Living in NYC after being from Oklahoma, and I can agree that this song hits home.
Orlando native grew up in Augusta ga. I. Currently live in Orlando …..I feel this song in my soul. The country made me!!!
Love it!!!!!!
Fuck I can’t even pick a favorite! These are all fire! Absolutely beautiful music, my ears haven’t been this happy 😍🤤
Concert in Ohio this year?! 🙏🏻 fuck I’ll travel for this!
One of the most ahead of it's time country-ish songs I've ever heard.
Agreed
Country is alive and well, Rest Easy Possum!
Love you , Hardy. 54 year old fan from Rhode Island. Can’t wait to see you rock it in Mansfield Ma in June!
Theirs gotta be a music video with water drums. I think that'd be sick. 430 am on my way to work every day. I be rocking the hell out
The first verse is similar to the melody of Adele's "Hello"
Love this song
I love this song ❤ I'm from Indiana but I relate.
This is the song that fits me to a T. Recently moved from my small hometown to Atlanta to this past year for a career change. Got my guitars and man is it different. Southern hospitality is gone.
Writer and singer he's about to break out of the country box, 100% talent needs to be played in the rock genre, refreshing the same old same rock.
Listen to the rest of the album its just as good 😎
I am a Shinedown fan. But I really love ❤️ Hardy’s music 🤓
This is 🔥
This track has so much late 90s - 2001 matel/grunge vibes.💯💪🏻🔥 🎸🇬🇧
I love the line mentioning red wing boot. Because those are what I wear almost every day. Keep doing what you do man.
Damnnnnn. Hardy rocks out better than some rock bands. Love this!!
This sounds like a throw back to early 2000 hard rock mixed with a country twist and I love it
Great!!
Hardy gonna have #1 hits in country and rock !! Let’s go
This song started playing and I thought "NO FREAKING WAY... ANASTACIA???" And then it was Hardy instead, well I fucking love Hardy. Keep rocking and countrying.
my little brother and i listen to this all the time on my laptop
I love these
Good tune
Got a country ain’t country no more vibe Travis tritt and rock & roll love it
yeah man! 👍
I can't stop listening to this album !!!!
Real country nowadays leans more towards rock to begin with. The garbage on the radio is pop being masked as country. This reminds me of a Steve Earl and BlackBerry Smoke, and for sure Kid Rock. That's to say, it's badass.
LETS FUCKING GO
