Hi Aileen 😊 Getting a late start to commenting on this incredible reaction of yours to Radiohead's Creep 😊👍 I have read all the comments and I have to agree that first, this takes me back to my high school years in 1973 and second that you are special 😊 Those awkward years of being a teenager and having crushes and knowing that that will never happen. So I can see that when Radiohead came out with this song, I am not surprised that it became an anthem for teenage self- deprecation. I know you get especially excited when the performance is live because as you say perfectly imperfect which makes the performance that much better. And so it is as you immersed yourself into the performance, feeling all of the emotions and receiving understanding making your reaction real. The messages in the comments reflect that and why we love you so much. All the recommendations are excellent and I look forward to your reactions 😊 Have a great day you and Arya 😊👍
How many of us were that person that felt they didn't belong, they weren't noticed, they weren't wanted around and were the "weirdo?" The emotion, pain and suffering really pours out of him and hits home to many of us whether growing up or now as adults. Brilliant, timeless song with no shelf life. Also, Aileen, i love your emotions and empathy in so many of your reactions. Thank you!
Thom has definitely proven he can hit notes perfectly. You can find live recordings where his technical precision will blow you away. But to use painting as a metaphor, often a loose brushstroke is much more powerful than a tight one. And dancing around the note can be more interesting than hitting it. And when he does hit it, it's that much stronger.
I remember listening to Radiohead on Mtv and listening to their early albums. I havent heard them in years until I started to watch the brilliant "One day" series on Netflix which is the most heart wrenching Love story that id recommend to anyone and is worthy of a reaction video in itself. This is the best live version of this song. Creep is a banger. When Thom wails out, RUnNNnnnnnnnn, it gets me every time. Thom really emotes with his voice. His voice is a whole instrument in every song. I see them live, and his voice is better live than recorded it is like a sunset. A picture can't capture the real magnificence of it. You can only really experience it live.
A lot of cover versions of this song out there. One of my favorites is by Postmodern Jukebox featuring Haley Reinhart - and it is a virtuoso singing performance. Not going to spoil anymore on that other than it is an extremely popular song for reactors.

Hi Aileen, wonderful reaction and beautiful song. The music has the power To be able to read our feelings, emotions, has a power over us, which is extraordinary, singers know what it means especially when they use the tended on a verse, and remind us that we are human ❤
Absolutely fabulous. Scott Bradlee always comes up with unique arrangements and Hailey is tremendous as always. On that particular song she was sick and was supposed to be off that day but she came in and nailed it.
"Weird Fishes" Live From the Basement. No better next step (and you will love if you take the steps) Radiohead to check out. Awesome reaction!! Best band of last 30 years - 5 of 9 albums been on Rolling Stone top 500 - so they have huge range of music to dive into. This one is your formal Intro to Thom Yorke, one of the all-time great front person and writer in rock history, but also a voice like none other. Peace/
I saw Radiohead in 2000 for the Kid A tour. I believe they only did (2) US shows for that tour... LA & NYC. At this point, I believe he was over this song or at least being the song that they "had" to perform live. Anyways, the band played the song while he just stood in front of the mic. He didn't sing a note of "Creep". It was a cool take on the whole situation. Great concert too.
I sang this at a bar once am not a good singer but seeing this song I could feel the emotions thank you for this reaction this song I can listen to it all day and never get tried of listing to it.
They do a live version of their song, Fade Out (Street Spirit) which I just know you'll love. If you search "street spirit live", it'll be the 3rd or 4th down. He looks very young and has blondish hair in the image for the video.. It is such a haunting song, and in my opinion, it's one of the best live vocal performances I've ever heard. You will no doubt feel the same emotion I do
Lovin' your channel! So much passion for quality music and well defined reactions to the songs. You just made me listen to this song all day long haha..keep up the good work! Thank you!
I was made to feel this way by someone and I dedicate this song to them. This is a song that has meaning to me and that long note is a release of that emotion.
What I love the most is how much people really appreciate good music. I just turned 60 and I had been so sad to miss out on the 60s scene but I'm so excited to see all these bands in concert. The 2 songs I love most are: Voodoo Doll & Suffocate City. I look forward to watching more of your first reaction videos.
I was a sophomore in high school when this song hit and it was a hard hit. You can hear the pain in Thom’s voice when he sings it. I can remember one day in college I was blaring this in my dorm room so loud the RA chewed my ass. Thom had severe social anxiety so it took him a while to get passed it.
Fantastic performance, despite the cold weather. Singing about insecurity, while bravely soldiering on through the weather, to a point he even holds and corrects notes he went off key in. Do the thing. The show much go on. Completely vulnerable while also being completely a pro. Brilliant.

I've been privileged enough to see Radiohead live twice in my life, once while they were touring In Rainbows and once for A Moon Shaped Pool. I first saw them in 2008 playing a stadium in Vancouver and then again at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, both of which were pretty transcendent experiences tbh. And while I didn't get to see them play Creep, as they rarely do live, they did play My Iron Lung which is at least a nod to it lol. I really hope you continue on and do more Radiohead reactions tho!
So happy to see more radiohead reactions. Cant encourage it enough. There is so much to this band thats been said, to the point that they have antifans. But to consider that creep was just a glimmer of what they would become both emotionally but much more technically, I can't encourage exploration/reaction enough. They are such a staple for a reason and even if they don't 'sit' well' and can be a difficult 'first reaction', I can assure you there is meat on these bones, no matter what you hope to get from music. My song recommendations, street spirit(fade out), Down is the New Up, A Wolf at the Door, Where I End and You Begin, Pyramid Song, How to Disappear Completely, Paranoid Android, Airbag. I'll stop there but you seriously cannot go wrong.

A lot of cover versions of this song out there. One of my favorites is by Postmodern Jukebox featuring Haley Reinhart - and it is a virtuoso singing performance. Not going to spoil anymore on that other than it is an extremely popular song for reactors.
Haleys version is incredible
3:54 emotion = vocal whammy bar. Making best use of it can turn a person with good but imperfect tone into an astounding singer.
6:50 Your show, Senpai. Here for it.
I love how you feel the emotions that means you just have a lot of empathy
Tuck it in your waistband
Its a pure classic
Another excellent performance is Radioheads song, “Nude” from their From the Basement sessions
Creep foi o hino de uma geração! (anos 90)
❤️🔥🎸
Song always makes me cry
One of the great things about music is its power to move the human spirit. One of the great things about watching your reactions to it is how you allow us past the surface to see its power over yours. Thank you once again for your generosity.💖💖💖
I haven't heard this song since the 90s, but it's one of my favorites.
Hi Aileen, wonderful reaction and beautiful song. The music has the power To be able to read our feelings, emotions, has a power over us, which is extraordinary, singers know what it means especially when they use the tended on a verse, and remind us that we are human ❤
Now watch their 2003 Glastonbury setlist, especially Fake Plastic Trees. The shot across the crowd steaming in the cool night air is iconic.

What a great song! Great channel Aileen ❤
Postmodern Jukebox do a fabulous cover with Hailey Rinehart singing. Worth a listen even in your own time!
I've heard that version, it's brilliant!
Flawless version. The guest singer is ridiculous on that version.
True
I think she sings every style of music Inc yodelling and skat lol. She's incredible
Absolutely fabulous. Scott Bradlee always comes up with unique arrangements and Hailey is tremendous as always. On that particular song she was sick and was supposed to be off that day but she came in and nailed it.
I've always luved Raidoheads song "Creep". Such a great song!😢
Imagine that song was written and sang for you alone, astonishing right?
"Weird Fishes" Live From the Basement. No better next step (and you will love if you take the steps) Radiohead to check out. Awesome reaction!! Best band of last 30 years - 5 of 9 albums been on Rolling Stone top 500 - so they have huge range of music to dive into. This one is your formal Intro to Thom Yorke, one of the all-time great front person and writer in rock history, but also a voice like none other. Peace/
"Codex" By Radiohead - it's simply beautiful music!
Feel that shit in your soul
I felt I was the only one feeling this way in high school, until I heard this song, thank you Radiohead, and AileenSenpai for sending this out . . .
Check out the cover for this song from Brian Justin Crum who appeared on America's Got Talent.
Such an Awesome era of bands n music! We moved away from this era too fast !! 😢
I was never a big Radiohead fan but they had some songs i thought were great, this is definitely one of the best IMO.
Thank you!
the best song about unrequited love. so relatable if you've ever been in that situation (yes,i have been there).
I am so glad you like it I like it so much and you are special 😊
I always love listening to your insight when hearing something new to you. Always makes my day. 😊
I was made to feel this way by someone and I dedicate this song to them. This is a song that has meaning to me and that long note is a release of that emotion.
GREAT PERFORMANCE.... by this band!!!
i love her facial expression while watching the video likee she really feelin' it solid fan here!
Love this song. And Mimi and Josy's cover of it on 2019 Kids Voice Germany to me is the best cover I have ever heared of it.
@aileensenpai56 Here is the link to the Mimi and josy cover th-cam.com/video/wC64ZPJXMGU/w-d-xo.html
What I love the most is how much people really appreciate good music. I just turned 60 and I had been so sad to miss out on the 60s scene but I'm so excited to see all these bands in concert. As they started out as opening bands to being headliners. Then come back full circle. I don't like all the gimmicks. Just give me the music.
I think your adorable.
What does Thom even think he's playing at singing it like this, it's absolutely stunning.
I've always loved this song. It's just got a vibe to it. Thx for the reaction. BTW, you may have the most infectious smile I've ever seen
I really love your reaction. It`s the sound i had the oy to grew up it`s my generation. and there`s so mny more that inspired and touched me in this times, Cranberries `Zombie`or Òde to my amily`, Queen `Bohemian Rhapsody` or `Sombody to love`, Kylie Minou & Nick Cave with the Bad Seeds `Wid roses`, even Falco with his iconic song èannie`, ot Shinead o Connor `withe the Song o Prince `Nothing compares to you`...there`s so many other Musicians rom that time we should never forget
This song is so special to me till this day. I'm The Creep, I'm the weirdo. What the "heck" am I doing here ... I don't belong here...
I have been catching up on alot of your first time reaction videos of so many.. this month and last month.... loved the video most of all... Five finger death punch.. wrong side of heaven, as I can relate as 100% disabled veteran. You said you love variety of music and would love to see your reaction to a group I don't think you have reacted to yet. I just seen them in concert for the first time on Aug 2nd and was in awwww.. they have been around and have been underrated ... they are sooo good... please when you can get the chance to react to them the group is: The Funeral Portrait.
The first time I heard this song, I knew exactly where he was coming from. The anthem of every outcast boy.
Fantastic performance, despite the cold weather. Singing about insecurity, while bravely soldiering on through the weather, to a point he even holds and corrects notes he went off key in. Do the thing. The show much go on. Completely vulnerable while also being completely a pro. Brilliant.
As having lived the pre-grunge, grunge and post grunge, all our favourite bands were always high, and so were we ;-)
Makes me cry everytime. 😢
Radiohead id one of my main inspirations to music study. Ill never not love them
"Morning bell" is my fav, reminds me of warm summer night
MOREE RADIOHEAADD
I'm not a fan of Radiohead, but I love this song
@@shaggy7927 They have a shit load of better songs than Creep but it's still a great song and I can still listen to You and Blow Out from their first album.
I love the emotional response. So appropriate for this song. Great reaction!
The "Jaw Thing" is a lot of great coke. There is also a Daniel John (Silverchair) where he was mega amped on the white. Love them both though!!!!
I had to laugh when said, warming up his jaw lol.
Is this confirmed? The consensus seems to be that they have said they don’t do hard drugs. At most shrooms but mainly stick to pot.
Not coke... Ex, I know the signs 😂
Sends chills up my spine every time...
