lol i think he was more like Dan in Man Down. This is probably what he wished he was like because he probably had teachers like this back in his day. Back when you could get away with being an asshole teacher and the boys had to still respect you. Or as a former teacher, im probably just speaking for myself...

What I love about Mr. Gilbert is that he undeniably a prick but he is just believable enough that he could easily be a real teacher (and yes I know his actor used to be a teacher)

I've always liked Davies character he was no doubt rude to the students, but when he saw McKenzie just crapped himself he didn't scold him or make fun of him. He decided to help him and not make the situation worse. Reminds me of my Drill Instructor except i never crapped my pants just got yelled at alot by him.
