Wow that beard! Oh different song. Wow 3 million views, look at you go! I love the stirring part! Wow the colours in this are AMAZING. It sure is pretty!
WOW!! What a stunning work of art! This type of woodworking speaks to my heart! I wish you were here in Tennessee so I could pester you into giving me some lathe lessons!!
Thank You,, LOL I'm still learning how to use the lathe myself, I'm starting to wish I was in Tennessee also after this sub zero arctic stuff we've had up here, Florida is to HOT! lived there , thanks for Watching and I'm glad you liked it, you aren't the first to pester me... LOL
My favorite piece so far! The transition from dark resin encasing the wood to light resin filling the gaps between really added depth and character. I would definitely buy a bunch in different colors. Cant wait to see another 1.
Thank You.. LOL I noticed the shirt also but I can't wear anything nice out in the shop, it just ends up looking like that shirt, all those holes are a result of welding and time. I now have shop clothes to protect the rest.
I like. Fun to turn resin and wood. I make a lot of 40 oz. pours and always tap the side of the mold at different levels of pour to release bubbles. It will help.
@@PohlBarnProductions, I've used a massage vibrator to raise the bubbles. Just massaging the side of the container seemed to work great. I stole the idea from concrete vibrating. Might be worth a try your next time around. That's a fantastic piece of swamp-wood. Your choice of colors and placement made all the difference. Would also be interesting to do similar work in flame colors (orange and yellow with hints of red and blue). This meld of natural and synthetic mimics nature's opals. Mesmerizing. Thanks for sharing your art with us.
The thumbnail (being as small as it is) made the vase look like the most beautiful door knob I've ever seen. If the well to do folks were to see such a thing, I bet they would outfit their homes with them.
That clamp to hold it round is a really smart idea. I just love those colors...the mixing of them to look so good with each project you do, shows a lot of artistic talent on your part.
Очень круто получилось у вас великолепнийший талант, и самое главное что вы получаете удовольствие от того чо делаете. Искрени желаю удачи в вашем деле.
I liked it a lot! You did a good job with what you had. It came out nice. Anyone would be proud to have it holding flowers on their dining room table. I know I would!
i enjoyed watching this vid - makes me want to buy a wood turner and some epoxy (shame both are bloomin expensive lol - but yeah epoxy well expensive in the UK) any way a big like on the video
Beautiful work, the vase looks fabulous. I find your videos very inspirational and gives me some ideas to have a go at something similar in my retirement.
Wow. Just wow. Okay, this may be my favorite piece of all the ones I have watched. The color blend is just stunning. Thank you for sharing. You're very talented.
John-Paul Silke What does AI have to do with anything creative, like this man is doing? If AI reaches the heights of being creative, it will be another artist. Period. When photography was invented, many critics predicted artists would not be needed thereafter. True artists grabbed hold of the new tool and used it to improve their art. What makes you think true artists won't partner with whatever new tools come along in the future and produce new creations that will be mind blowing?
Indeed I think much like photography the human mind and AI will combine and make art so beautiful as to make genuine tears of joy, passion and other emotions perhaps beyond descriptions. My point was that this was so far away from what should or could logically be made useful was somehow not only made useful but also incredibly beautiful.
Do you work with “wood” only? I am constructing a modern Barbie house and, I think I am going to try this general idea. But, instead of a vase, I’m going to use glass backsplash tile instead of wood and make a lamp base. 👌🏼
Nothing, but nothing beats watching a true artisan at work - from the start to the resulting absolute one-of-a-kind piece of wonderful art!!! - In it's own peculiar way, being able to watch this artful transformation, it gives the viewer a special sense of gratitude just to be alive to watch this . . . . . Thanks a lot for uploading this magic, greetings & best wishes from Norway!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Why not fill up the core of this with a wooden stick that could fill the gap in the centre and then you didn´t have to spend so much of the expensive resin?
Thank you Toby, yeah this is about my Journey into woodturning, good or bad, Wait til you see the nightmare I just finished up, I am not completely happy with it but I finished it when I wanted to throw it up against the wall.
I love this one. Your resin color is gorgeous, it contrasts beautifully with the color and texture of the wood, and those ribbons coming off the Forstner bit is reeeally cool.

lol wait for the yard bowl video, you get to see what I actually deal with when turning resin.

Thank You Donald, I already have the lamp, just trying to figure out how I want to make the shade

1st time viewing your stuff. Nice piece. I haven't done work with resin before, except for the occasional turned pen.

The only problem is---what flowers are worthy of such a beautiful vase?!
Thank You.. I am not sure, I think it's new owner just wants to display it. but they would have to be short as it's only about 8 inches tall over all.

Put a roll of polystyrene in the center, To save on the resin?
Scrap wood glued in, seen other people do it that way
Brother, that was slicker than a snotty doorknob. Beautiful work. I really enjoyed watching you work. Thank you!
Thank You Mike !
2:49 put a scrap piece of wood in the middle to use less resin
I was wondering if I was the only one bothered by this. Resin is so damn expensive I would've totally put something in there to reduce all that waste.
Even I was thinking the same.
brilliant idea! epoxy is $$$
wouldnt a hollowed out scrap pipe work even better, if its closed at one end?
I taught the same thing. So it hurts to see so much waist of material, that is hurt. 🤨
Actually, letting it rise and then taping it might make sure you have resin on the bottom of the 'log'. Not void pockets.
👍

never worked with glass tile I'm sorry. but I don't see why it can't be done, we are only limited by our imagination .
Exactly
I would think it would be much like doing stained glass, metal framing in the design you want , then cut and add the tiles to fit.
