I'm white and was a regular victim of profiling in the late 60s/early 70s. I was dating a boy with long hair and a beard. We got stopped every time we left the house. One cop even said that my boyfriend had one male passenger. I may be a lot of things, but I haven't looked male since I was 12. They just saw a hippie drriving and assumed he was doing something illegal.

Those of us who are white with black, or black with white, Mulatto, Metis, whatever, sense these actions deeply thus finding quiet anger.
Similar activities by authorities happen every hour of each day in this USA.

These stories have similarities in the themes. Someone’s profiled of mistreated. They then have to confront an accusatory required to present evidence to substantiate the abuse. I wonder if there’s a take-away for those who sit on the sidelines and font speak up when a situation such as this one occurs. From the picture in the of diners in the restaurant, no one spoke up or diddd with the person who was being harassed.
