- American Eagle flight 3092 departing San Diego Lindbergh Field, onboard a Embraer ERJ140, filmed from seat 14C. Taken from the "Commuter Terminal", we are escorted to a holding area outside the terminal. Then a goundcrew walks us over to the plane.
You can see a United Express Embraer 120 Brasilia starting up their engines.
As we enter, this flight was mostly empty. Rotation was at about 3,000ft. I forgot about Sea World, and I stopped filming before we crossed it! Sorry about that! Enjoy!
cool video, I like when people video tape the whole boarding, taxi and take off, really lets you experience the whole thing!~
You did a great job getting some cabin shots!! Nice work!!
Great view of MCRD San Diego. I remember flying out of there, I got the same view. It was good to see 3 months of pain and misery disappearing.
Love the sound of those RR engines
Great video lol its super loud outside than u get into the cabin and its nice and peaceful
Great quality video... thanks for sharing!
I love how it gets all quiet when you gen on the plane.
Great video! I'll be taking this aircraft type in a few weeks LAX-DEN. I'm looking forward to it, but I still can't believe they are flying this type of plane on the LAX-DEN route. Gonna be fun though.
I love how quiet it gets when you step into a plane just after walking to it outside.
you thought that was long?! that was a very quick takeoff
My home w/ American Airlines....40 Years....SAN was the best!
@tomtom5418 - I keep rewinding it to see her face! I think you are dead on when it comes to your interpretation! Well played!
very very good!
@musico81986 From the commuter terminal to 27 in SAN, Its not a far taxi but they must of done it for a specific reason, obviously has something to do with fuel but in any case, you are right about "some" airlines that taxi with one engine to utilize the rule of saving fuel for long taxi's.
Awesome! 5/5
wow for a second I thought it was going to overrun the runway it was taking so long to takeoff ;)
haha, the lady at 2:58 is like "damn, this a small plane"
I will be flying this airplane within the next 6 months.
wow san diego doesn't have jetways for commuters? i did not know that
Yes! Seems all airlines use this tactic when doing a long taxi run, especially from DFW Airport...to save fuel.
The embraer does not fly anymore to SAN. Its mostly the crj 700
Panasonic SDR-H200, with internal 30GB Harddrive, and 3CCD lens.
did they start to taxi with only 1 engine running??
Can you put your bags in at the the start instead of having to carry them all around and bringing them to the plane. thanks
where was this too
where were you going to?
@DanaVanHeerden then i guess its a boon if the engine fails midflight
Where was the flight to
@DanaVanHeerden can they?
hello musico is not flaps 9 is flaps 9º
Haha it was a joke
