"Its not wrong of me to hate people" bros a whole mood, I'm here for it
Newflash Undercover Boss:
*The customer isn't always right. Sometimes, the customer is a batsh!t crazy, abusive liar.*
This way of thinking created generations of self entitled snobs who think because they spend their little breadcrumbs they can behave like pompous assholes.
Gotta love that 2nd boss @4:15 being condescending and blaming his team for not calling IT. That CEO must be dense. Either that team A) doesn't know they had the ability to call IT or B) has already dont that a million times and shit hasn't gotten done.
Not necessarily. Where I work it's common for people to just sit there and use it as "down time" to chill rather than call IT. If the problem doesn't fix itself within an hour they'll call but not before.
I was thinking that when he said they need to let him know what they need… I’m sure they have 100x before.
If some dude shows up with a crappy wig and camera crew, you’re on Undercover Boss.
The owner of my company is very hands on, we see him every day.
We’ve joked about him trying to do undercover boss before and coming in with a wig. We’d be like “yo, this place suuuuucks, the owner is the worst part about it… walking around like he owns the place and sh-t, telling us what to do like he signs our paychecks pfft”
because hidden cameras does not exist
What a pig of a boss for not wearing a skimpy outfit. Sick.
@@cosmicreef5858are you slow? They literally have a camera crew on the show they say it so many times. You actually said that like you knew what you were talking about lmao
yeah what is it for anyway. dont need it if employees dont know you. and just imagine if they do. 🤣🤣
Probably the reason so many workers don’t care is because the employers don’t care about employee pay or benefits.
Pretty much this.
I start caring about your company when you start caring about me. You and me, we have a business deal. You get work, I get money. That's it. That's no relationship, that's no friendship. It's business. You want something from me, pay for it!
I disagree. I worked in companies with decent salaries and benefits and I left because of slackers that were too lazy to do their job that I ended up picking up.
Slackers always have something to complain, when in reality they should consider themselves lucky just for being hired in the first place.
Or their well being
@@billyilbello4731did you not read the comment?? like seriously, they said employers don't care if you are paid little to nothing with 0 benefits and here you come talking about "i worked for companies with decent salaries and benefits". that completely derails your point right there. these places have terrible work environments, little pay, and no benefits. nobody deserves to be treated like shit and expected to give their all in return. while i agree, slackers suck and will always complain, there are more good employees than slackers at most places. if they all share the same opinions, it's probably the bosses fault.
@@hxaza of course it's the bosses' fault. So go work elsewhere, it's that simple.
I wonder how many CEO's are oblivious to how management really acts at work. They rarely help when it gets hectic and they think the higher they get, the less they do. Unfortunately, a good manager is hard to find and it's also the main reason why someone will choose to leave. When I was a manager, I tried to be the type of manager I needed when I wasn't one.
This is something that I have noticed in my own career. I was a manager of several businesses, including fast food, exotic pet shops, and at an international airport. Towards the end of my career, I began to see more and more managers who didn’t think they had to work. When in a bind, I would ask other managers on site to help and was either turned down or ignored entirely. This was counter to everything I had always learned about managing. It was baffling. As the manager, you need to jump in when needed. Period.
I also noticed the slow death of the assistant manager. Many places just don’t do this anymore. They instead install “team leads,” who are supposed to act like managers but without the salary and the increased paycheck. As a result, they aren’t getting that invaluable training that used to be part and parcel of having the responsibilities of an assistant manager. I think some of the problem lies within that particular bit of workplace structure, especially in the food industry.
@angelsinger4574 I completely agree with you. I had to fight for my promotion to make only 50 cents more than people walking into the door to the job. That was after me coming with a 2-page list of how all the changes I made that made a difference in the workplace and my higher-up speaking with my team. I still have a lot of people from my team who still reach out to me. When I had left, I offered to write their recommendation letters. I was proud. My team never saw me not moving. If I asked a request from my team, I'd immediately tell them what I was doing as well so they knew where I'd be and that I was working with them. I really cared about them. I used to bring frozen meals and sandwich supplies so they can make food since we had someone stealing lunches and it could be a tight payday, I brought in cases of water with my own money because my company charged $1.50 for water in the vending machine yet we work in a warehouse with no air conditioning in Texas, and I even brought Valentine's gifts, Christmas gifts, and birthday gifts. It made me feel good to be in a role where it wasn't about who I could control but who I could lead to success. I mean I even trained my boss. To this day, I'd love to get back into a position like that. We need people who want to come to work. It's not to say you'll never have a hard day, but at least you have someone who's got your back. Sorry for the paragraph. I'm passionate about it.
Most. It’s called “management land”. When you get to that level, you get very sparse and strategic reports. A lot of VPs. Directors, regional managers, and even general manager like to pad their reports so it doesn’t reflect on them
Kind of like a game of telephone. Every level loses detail and by the time it’s at the top, everything is gilded
In any business where there is a layer of abstraction between the shot callers and the coalface you get problems. If you judge worker performance by targets and metrics rather than actually being on the floor and knowing what the job entails you will never actually know how your business operates. I've worked at locations where the person in charge of the building didn't care to know what was going on, with two layers of managers between them and workers, never mind the director or a chief. Should anyone senior openly come on site they are heavily handled by anyone below them.
If you were a grown man working at a candle store making 7.25 an hour would you be cheerful??!
I can only imagine people who go into a yankee candle store have to be some of the worst kind of customers too.
And dude was somewhat fair. I've worked retail in a store that sees a lot of kids. You'll get the good ones, and they're a pleasure to work with, but you will inevitably get that demon spawn at some point, quite often. throwing merch on the ground, rubbing their sticky fingers on plushies, throwing things under the shelves, screaming and running into other customers, walking behind the register... I love kids but some of them you want to strangle (figuratively).
Well you chose to work there. So only fair that you do what you agreed to. Otherwise you are welcome to find a different job. But I don't see many takers for him.
It's called customer service. It's the only thing that America sells, so people need to get it right. It is inappropriate to bring your home problems to work. You leave that at the door the minute you walk in. Foul language is not appropriate, nor is harassment of any kind. It is one thing to talk about the inner workings of a company, it is another entirely to just complain. If you don't like your job, quit. It used to be that most people quit their jobs because of their bosses. Now, people quit their jobs because they are entitled and don't want to put in any effort. Good customer service and maintaining a business demeanor is the BARE MINIMUM skill someone should come to work with. Just because you're frustrated does not mean you have aright to take it out on a guest/customer. You're getting paid to do the exact opposite. If you don't like it, find a job that is not customer-facing. There are many out there. I've had my fair share of bad bosses, worked for a terrible company and had insane Karens and customers who think it's okay to secually harass me because I'm female. But that does not mean I perform my duties or hold myself to less of a standard because of that. It's called professionalism.
When I work in a candle store, I am there to sell candles. Cheerfulness costs extra.
Undercover Boss, where the best CEOs in the country get put in the worst wigs in the world 😄
I love when you can tell how 90% of these people inherited their buisness or got money from their family because they genuinely dont understand basic job requirements.
😅
“He was doing the bare minimum” no shit 😂 why would i do more if im not being paid more
You pay minimum wage, I work minimum work.
You pay peanuts, you get monkeys.
Because you will be rewarded for working your hardest and being the best employee possible.
People who are diligent will be the ones getting promotions and raises.
If you can't understand that, you are a moron!
(If you were working for me and I had to lay someone off because of 'hard times', you would be the first one out the door!)
@@0x777 how about you get fired and replaced by someone who is better
The most funny parts are when the bosses can't keep up with the regular job tasks
Guy's daughter gets murdered and he gets 3 years in jail for assulting (and not killing) the murderer??? Nah. I don't think he should've been punished harshly for that.
Alleged murderer. Innocent until proven guilty.
Yeah, he went through some serious trauma, yet he had the best attitude of anyone in this video! It was nice what they did for him.
He also gets 5000$ given to a donation not to him lol and a day at an amusement park 💀💀
I wouldn't say that here in these comments there's a lot of rapists around here who don't think women are equal people's society. As noted by the comment replies directly above yours on this video
The law is the law... We cannot have an "eye for an eye" society in order to have ORDER. no matter how bad people feel or how justified individual situations feel.
Listen if the guy delivering my food isn’t stoned I would think there’s something wrong lol
Let's be honest: there's no way he passed that test. Weed stays in your body for around 45 days minimum. He was fired before he even walked in to talk to the CEO.
Why the hell would I care what my employees do off the clock? As far as I am concerned, what matters is they're sober while on the clock. What they do in their spare time is none of my business.
@@tylerthompson5859 depending on the amount. Weed can exit the body in two weeks. What nonsense r u talking abt
@@0x777 I am stoned on the clock. Never a problem.
I worked in this shitty warehouse job and they tried to fire a guy for being stoned. They weren't expecting the entire floor to stop working.
I don't think they realise that 75% of the staff were all stoned. Never mind the fact that we smoked on the floor during night shifts.
Some of these disguises are ridiculous!
The bikini one (at least in the context provided) is really shitty of the owner to do. So she isn't feeling the job, it isn't for her, so she told him the truth of what she felt because that is what she asked and she said she is looking for another job. So he fired her for looking for another job but she still showed up there to work in the meantime. They want a 2 weeks notice for you to quit but will be glad to fire you immediately if you still work while looking for a better suited position for you.
Agreed 100%. There was no reason for lack of a 2 week notice. Isn't that illegal according to EEOC?
He straight up said "it's not wrong to HATE people"..wow...

The last guy needed to be fired immediately!!!…No second chance for that behaviour. Those ladies won’t ever feel safe around him…
Fired for not choosing to exploit herself wow he got sued
I don’t agree with how he handled that either.
I used to work as a bikini barista.
And we as the girls were more than allowed to wear more covered tops and shorts if we felt more comfortable with that. (kind of like hooters uniforms)
Granted it was still expected of us to look “sexy” because that was part of the job and we knew that when we signed up for it. But they still couldn’t tell us we had to wear a certain type of top that showed a certain amount of skin.
However I will also say, if when being hired she was told that the dress code was expecting you to wear a bikini top then that’s a different story. But it dosnt sound like that was the case considering they have t shirts for them to wear and she still looked the part for the job in my opinion. I don’t think any guy walked in there and complained at what they were looking at 😂
If we’re talking about the same person. I thought were talking about the bikini restaurant.
If we’re talking about the hooter guy he was a jerk and creep too.
If you don’t like the uniform don’t work there…. Don’t accept the pay check….. that’s how it works. He wasn’t sued. Not sure where you came up with that.

He can’t be sued if that was the uniform required to be worn when she was given the job
That second guy... whoofe, had a problem with IT and had a whole breakdown, maybe... invest in a better computer program, yeah, the best ones are gonna have some problems sometimes but not twice a day, either way its your problem to fix it, not the people you employ, sure they can do temporary fixes but you need to get something better, you need to do better, its not on your crew to make sure you have the proper equipment for them to do their job
Amen! Sadly, big wigs don’t see it this way. Their approach is “beatings will continue until moral improves”
The boss wasn't wearing the uniform at Bikinis either.
😂
“Brad” @18:15😂😂😂😂
Those ladies were genuinely scared that “Brad” was gonna destroy the warehouse. And hurt his self.
17:42 that lady clearly is a mom with little kids. You can tell by how she talked to him…”No, don’t throw that!”
I know “Brads” kind, very well in my experiences 😂😂😂
Had 1 Brad for example, went up during lunchtime and started to attempt to weld on some pipe/HP
Good thing someone busted “Brad” trying to weld 😂😂😂he made a mess! Holes, holes, holes😂😂😂 then trying to fill, cover em.
Hell real adhd and anxiety I get nervous and if I get over whelmed I may shut down shake and cry and can passout

"it seems like you don't love to serve" - excuse me CEO would you? lmao these CEO's earn on the sweat of these poor servers but serving is a truly hard job
😳
They put in the hard work building the companies from the bottom to be able to do that.
@@LadyPallas Do they? Realistically, does every corporate executive work from a foundational framework that builds the business? No, they're mostly privileged kids with business degrees paid by their parents or trust funds, while expecting people they pay the absolute minimum acceptable to do a job they can't even do to maintain their inherence.
How can employees give a shit when y’all don’t give a shit about us or what we get paid 🤷♂️
That’s not always the case. Most corporate leaders don’t see or hear that. Granted, it’s almost always a management issue, but not necessarily the executives. A lot of these are the store managers being managers and not leaders. A lot see issues as as blemishes to the record, rather than a opportunity to improve
I’ve worked very difficult jobs for minimum wage that had good managers/leaders and honestly it was better than easier, higher paying jobs with bad managers. Work culture, clear expectations, and good training make a huge difference.
@@qz6332 well i mean the ceo of the company i work for earns millions a year whereas the low level workers get the absolute minimum that the law will allow. i have no idea who anyone is in the company and when they come to my location they dont care to attempt to know anyone either. i have zero respect for my company or any of these head office idiots who are completely out of touch and have no idea how it works at ground level, as is always the case they need us more than we need them and it generally is the case
@@MrMoralHighground I don’t know your company, but I’m going into management because I felt the exact same way at every job I’ve had. Some CEOs or executives honestly are useless. You can be angry, but at least have an educated opinion on how your leadership is failing. I know where mine fail and it pushes me even harder to get to that level.

There were definitely some employees who took it too far with their behavior, but a lot of these CEOs are so disconnected and delusional. These jobs are long hours, hard work, and pay terribly, but they act like something is wrong with the employee when they aren’t happy and positive 100% of the time. Some people are introverts and really don’t love being around people, but they have to in order to survive, like the guy in the candle store. Others are just trying to survive and do not have to love the job while still being respectful to customers. The CEO’s are so quick to fire and judge, but when people (like the Johnny Rocket’s guy) work their ass off, are super humble, and have it rough, they give them the bare minimum back. It does not phase the CEOs because they are in their cushy chair behind their desk all day with millions of dollars in their pockets, while their employees barely get a scrap.
Pay staff a decent wage then u mite get a better attitude from staff!! Clueless CEOs
I feel for the man who lost a daughter... I can relate on two accounts. ❤
If the costumer was always right , there would be no store nomore😂
You are 100% right. But then again, what we know, us, employees, comparing to CEOs who either never been behind the counter or it’s been eternity ago.
@@afafaakaka562 Honestly even with two minutes of logical thought you don't need to be trained behind the counter to understand how "the customer is always right" will sink your business fast. The driver, whose job it is to drive and know the layout of a city and traffic at given times of the day is obviously going to be more trustworthy on the matter than a customer trying to get a freebie. It's also not a wild concept to understand that gas isn't free and a detour will cost money to the company, a cost that isn't recuperated by the initial fare that was billed. And the initial call was passed due to the driver already being late on his schedule. Additional detours mean additional time lost, which in turn means the next customer will be less satisfied, and you don't sacrifice the rightful comfort promised to a customer for the out of order demands of another. If anything, those are some of the simplest things to realize for a person that is supposed to be very financially involved with the company.
I’ve always hated that saying, and I feel like anyone who believes that has NEVER worked with customers before.
When I was the manager of a restaurant I would always say “the customer is never right” since 90 times out of 100 that there was an issue it would be a misunderstanding on the customer’s part.. which isn’t a big deal most of the time and we’d fix it but sometimes we’d have a Karen and my staff always knew that I’d have their back. We’d be alright without that customer, but if you always side with customer then you’re not going to have staff left if you’re not supporting then effectively… and it’s a little difficult to run a restaurant without staff, or even demoralized staff since staff who like their job and care about it pretty much run themselves.
“The customer is always right” is why we have so many Karen’s asking for managers.
😅
Karens not Karen’s. The apostrophe indicates the possessive of Karen not plural.
@@MuckyPup115oooof, seems like you were raised by one.
Customer is not always right.
I can’t believe Brad is a real person 😂😂😂
I feel that with a bikini one seems kind of weird because if she wasn't told that she had to wear a bikini as uniform then I get that but I think she got fired because she was on the in and out. She basically said to him that she was not planning on staying at that restaurant for a long time and that she's searching for a different job. She was basically telling him if she got a better job than being a bartender then she would quit and not return back to that restaurant which I think you should never tell someone that you're going to quit even if they are a new person. This kind of thing makes you a target because if you have any before anything like that with that person they will tell management that you are planning on quitting and management will try to find a reason to fire you.
I agree. The CEO just gave off that uncomfortable and creepy vibe. I didn't see anything wrong with her. She was dressed nice and took care of the customers.
Bars in scancely clad women working behind them is a recipe for disaster because bars are filled with creeps misogynists rapists anything you can think of there are not good people at bars for the most part some people can be civil but once that alcohol comes in they stop being civil real fast.
Hooters has a dress code that's actually semi-reasonable short shorts but t-shirt on top, nice and sensible, why would any food worker be near naked in or around a public kitchen?
Yes and no. Had she signed a contract that stated she was going to wear a particular uniform then it is reasonable to expect the employee to do so. That being said, I really don't feel that businesses where people are forced to exploit themselves for money should exist because then that can create a situation where someone has to work their and is forced to exploit themselves because it happens to be the only job around or the only one where they can get child care with their schedule or something along those lines.
If anyone wants an update the chain shut down in 2018
First thing he said was she served the customer too many drinks
Wow... so the woman got fired from "bikinis" because she doesn't want to be exploited? Such bullshit
Why do the people changing their appearance always make them look so goofy?
I am totally amazed how these CEO's know nothing about the businesses they control! It makes me question whether or not they should be in their position because they need to know everything!
They aren't nearly as valuable as they think they are
You should look up Monday Morning Leadership. High level overview of leadership philosophy. Even if the CEO is doing it perfectly, they have to rely on their direct reports to give accurate updates. Some, or maybe even most, CEOs don’t care and think they can slack off, but good ones usually have to work 70-80hrs a week.
The ones on here are generally trying to fix issues which is already a statement to everyone else that the culture needs to change.
Nope they are there to read spreadsheets
Most CEOs could be replaced by a magic-8-ball without any loss of quality.
Guy who occasionally smokes weed: Fired on the spot. PR disaster who treats his employees like pigs: I can work with him.

Doesnt mean you need to talk shit about them though
Everyone is so patient with Brad at 16:37, and having my own unique struggles with ADHD felt so nice to see that patience. My main issue is if I don't have anything to do, anxiety will join the fray, and I feel like I'm stealing as I'm bored at the same time. Before Covid Target didn't have nearly as many online orders, and we would run out of orders between 4+ people. While they stood around chatting, I was freaking out.

The bosses expecting all these employees to be overly happy working a shit job for shit pay... crazy imo lol. 1:46 “the customer is always right…”
*…IN MATTERS OF TASTE!!!* Basically, if the customer wants to buy a puke green couch/jacket/colored car, LET THEM!! It’s what they want, who are you to tell them it’s ugly!?!? THAT’S WHAT THE ACTUAL QUOT MEANS!!!
Stop intentionally not finishing the quote!!
Do an Undercover Boss to the place of those wigs because they´re baaaad
🤯🤯
The customer is always right, in matters of taste. The saying has been shortened to allow people to act like they’re always right.
👏👏
The make-up artists make them look like 70's hippies
We don't even see the finale on quite a few of these. Why? That's what this is supposed to be all about!
Customer is always right in matters of taste….. don’t own a business and only know half the phrase.
👏
I can't believe places like Bikinis and Hooters exist.
I know 🤯
I can't believe only fans exist too
@@Thunderstruck17 that's a porn site. These restaurants are like an every day activity hyper sexualised for seemingly no non-creepy reasons.
Neither can I. I love the scenery but the food is atrocious. If Texas Roadhouse had their servers wear bikinis id never leave.
I used to work at a Johnny Rockets iny area, one of the most fun server positions I ever had.
They gotta get Rick Ross in a wing stop
Whats with the repeats in each video? No one should waste there time watching more than one of these as the rest are more repeats of previous videos!!
Can't believe those employees are not aweare of the big cameras and the guy with the wig pretending to be a newbie!
🫨🫨🫨
those wigs are the worst moments
I couldn't tell who was the bigger narc at the hardware store, Brad was literally a fucking character straight out of a 90s flick 🤣
😂😂
14:00 I’m not crying your crying
Did the boss fired a girl cuz she doesn't wear a bikini ?
imagine a pizza guy that wasn’t high… weird af
😂
How some of these people don't catch creeper charges is something I don't understand... some of these people shoulda been arrested at the end of the episodes lol
Aiyyyy Drew…smh
Damnd Right yous was lucky.
Jeeves???……I hope you do your best during the apocalypse 😂😂😂
CEOs and executives are why I work as bare minimum as possible. Youre lucky I even showed up today
Why do you have to tell what they are about to say and then play the clip afterwards. This video could last 20 minutes if you would just play the clips instead of explaining all the time.
Watch the episode rather than a compilation then 😊

Those Bikini places all shut down or revamped.
They were super trashy and just dirty.
Firing someone for not wanting to wear a bikini on camera for TV when that's not on the job description it pretty trashy too.
Crazy he offered to get another girl breast implants if she "stuck it out" for another 6 months.
Good clips, but I got confused a couple of times when I did not realize a clip had finished and the next one started. You need to make a clear demarcation between the clips, either with a gap and/or a title.
i absolutely loved getting checkers/rallies as a kid. the only one close was like 40 minutes away so when i had it that shit never missed. hate that theyre all gone here now.
Customers have rights and not customers are always right, it's really different
The owner of that Bikini's restaurant thinks he's the sh¡t when talking about his personal life.. while looking like Gino, from 90 Day Fiancé. 😂
😅
"hopefully with this truly great disquise *and a big ass camera crew accompanying me* no one will recognize me"

The only good boss I saw in this was the White Castle guy. … most of them totally suck.
That blonde chick from the yogurt place didn’t learn any lesson cause once again she got saved by her looks
I’m a truck driver I wish more dispatchers were like that guy the customer isn’t always right and even if an extra stop is along the way they should be charged extra that’s slowing the driver down and they should be compensated its potentially costing them money they could be missing out on another ride or delay them from picking up the next ride
👏👏
Honestly if a woman does not feel comfortable wearing a bikini top I think that she should not be required to wear a bikini top. The woman they showed earlier on was wearing a very nice close fitting outfit wasn't fully modest. Kind of an in-between. But if a woman does not feel comfortable wearing a bikini top and a restaurant why should they be forced to?
TO HAVE TO SUMMON FAKE TEARS TO TRY TO KEEP A 9 TO 5 IS SAD AND NUTS AT THE SAME TIME
These disguises are so bad, the integrity of the entire show is in question.
Drug test to work as a pizza delivery driver with his own car is wild
The customer is always right is the biggest joke in customer service
If the level isn’t where it should be generally, you’ll lose money, lose customers, and lose the respect of your workers. It’s not just customers that need to be highly valued, it’s employees! CEOs need to step in more Frequently. Not floor walkers. Not real leaders. Not suits. Show your there. Listen and make changes. That’s what your employees want. That’s what they need. It got to this stage because of the ownership and lacklustre nature of the owners. Nothing else. Learn. And see the changes .
3 years for being a father. Fuck that shit. Wtf
idk bout yall, but Brad should be an actor, he could def play the jerkwad in romcoms lol
