You ARE the superhero. Your repairs are always top notch. You know exactly how much time and effort each device is worth. That's how you keep an efficient work flow. A true master
Well done on reaching 400k subscribers Alex. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why you had not reached a million. You have one of the best channels on TH-cam. I look forward to every video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I always listen until your little girl says "It's better than factory".
Back in 1990 or so, I worked at a repair centre fixing 8 bit computers (most from schools) and the early 32 bit ones. As we got paid per fix it was essential to recognise and fix faults quickly.
So at least for your logistics you have something left to improve. Its a joy to see that with great talent, tools and practice even nowadays electronics can be saved an repaired.
I like all your video you shared. Techniques and knowledge that you working on.keep it up.

Hi, great repair, you have a great skill set! Didn´t like seeing customers repair jobs laying on the floor though, that´s a breakage risk not worth taking. Give the man more work space :)
i just wrote about it and then noticed your comment... it seems like in high magnification because the chips are highest the extra small movements of the board are amplified on the highest components because the camera is trying to focus all the view at the same time
So glad I saw this video. I have this exact tablet, which still works but that BT eventually did fail too. What chip is it? I may have to ship this item to you guys too, despite the costs.
We are testing a new amazing hot tweezer station and different kinds of replacement tips. We are very close to carrying the item is stock. I'm working on a video to showcase the product. Wait for it.
Metal can for RF shield are generally SMD parts, at least for the one I have met on BLE modules. If that's the case, why don't you heat up and remove the metal CAN instead of cutting it? Being metal it will even ease the process.
I tried getting my Samsung tablet. Repaired too. But... before going to repair stations!. I had looked at each individual prices for the screens replacements! And they all exceeded over 189.99 to 225 dollars. And brand new tablet was and is still. 229.99 ! The diss I got! When I was getting told to buy a newer version . Instead of us ordering a new screen. .. still have this tablet. To this.day
I've seen you have spoken on ethical things in the past. Can you please have some words on the tyrannical behaviour of US and England towards freedoms of journalism. Why? Imagine if TH-camrs start getting put in prison for hurting someone's feelings. It's happening now. Free Julian Assange. His trial is on now.
Figuring out that chip was key to you being more successful and buying that house. Go figure! 😮🙂 Also having to remove that cross, may be the butterfly effect that resulted in you buying that house, 4-5 years later.
You pay this man for his experience. No questions asked.
He's gotta be in the top 50 repair techs world wide if I had to guess
@@Kazwell96 That's an insult! He's number 1 at least that's what he told me.
@@ricomajestic top 50 possibly is an insult to his skill. But. 8.1 billion people on earth is a looooooot of people lmfao
Sir is a surgeon of electronics.

It seems that you need about a 10 year presence on yt to hit a mil.
I like your no nonsense approach.

Thanks, I have seen every one of your videos. Wish you had shown the tablet disassembly, that is just as much of an art as repairing them.
Anyone else seeing a bounce on the chip image. Not sure could just be me but image seems jumpy a bit.
Chip does seems to be bouncin
I saw it too. It's an optical illusion.

It's hurting what's left of my brain.
I didn't notice anything.

At 08:25 why is the solder added and removed before adding the chip to the board?
I wonder what the pc on the thermaltake p3 core is in for?
What's really funny Alex is that you could have just re-watched your old video to find out which shield the chip is under 😆
How much for rewrite the bios with a programmer? My bios brick
8:10 uh oh capacitor on the loose
That's from the soldering iron tip cleaner, it has has elephants and giraffes in it. It's not from the board.
@@NorthridgeFix - You made me laughs once again ! 🤣
