the silver really makes it stand out how…fleshy? organic? these masks are. Barely any straight lines, everything is curved and round and they really seem like they’re made of metal skin
You're not wrong about the pandemic increasing prices of things. I was hoping for some cheaper prices on the two Star Wars minifigure packs with the cards from 2000 because I randomly got the first two from a bulk donation, and the prices are insane now, I just can't justify what other people were willing to pay, let alone $100+ for just one piece.
@@Thinginator Enjoy all your stickers... (=_= ) But that is a fair point. Original LEGO themes are going to be far less desirable on the aftermarket unless they're one of the originals from at least the 80s and before where a different type of nostalgia kicks in for some.
Me, who got all six made out of real silver for the price of one "real" one. I can't wait till 3d printing becomes more accessible and the secondary market for Bionicle dies off. So sick of the price gouging on these things.
I have the anua mask but I’m just now knowing that it costs 170 dollars I have made multiple Mocs with this mask but I didn’t know it was so expensive.
Stumbled upon this video. Looked through my old and fairly limited collection of bionicles. Turns out I've got both Pakari and Akaku in silver. I remember pulling these in packs as a kid. But these two silver masks are literally the only two extra Toa Nuva masks I've got. Does this mean I pulled them both from the same pack???
The miru nuva came in a few part sets. Thats why they were so cheap. They came in these sets because of toa kaita wairuha nuva
i really like how the kopaka revamp uses a printed hero factory tile piece above his eye.

Those price increases make me glad to be a LEGO Racers fan. Nobody else seems to care about those, and I can still find them for like, $1-5 lol.
