I wish I could agree but most of these parts were available when Bionicle was around. LEGO does not have what it takes to make sets this good. As ironic as that sounds, it's true.
Wow, I love that dark gold armor. I really wish Lego would release more pieces in that color it helped break up the bright and shiny pallets of the toa.
7:09 Lewa's O-ring hip armor is connected at that angle using a sand green HOT DOG piece, which came in a Ninjago set among other sets. Incredible part usage!
2:00 To clarify, Kopaka "claiming the Krana as trophies" was necessary to stop the Bohrok. All six Toa had to collect every different type of Krana (8 types) for the six breeds. That's eight Krana per Toa But it would be impressive for Kopaka to have already taken down three Kohrak (even if individually) early on in their quest.
Would be impressive? It was expected Kopaka was very isolated he kept to himself very reclusive just like lewa a master of his domain because he basically just stays there and hardly leaves Plus like gali, pohatu, and lewa 90%of his domain is made from the element he controls onua as well Tahu only has some lava and some fire most of his domain is made of earth and stone. So that being said he just freezes the borak in their place and takes their shit. They have no ability to fight back theyre frozen solid. :D
Really like all the tan highlights on Pohatu. Kind of looks like he's reinforced his limbs and joints to avoid injury when he uses his Kakama powers to enhance his attacks
They looks so good they should be official, like the G3 Bionicle remake, they look just like G1 but are more articulated and built from system pieces Wich look so good
I’ve had an idea to use chrome block city parts on a takamata (takanuva mata) moc by having a gold ball on the torso, 2 mata shoulders in gold, and the mask ofc
The only one that doesn't quite capture the og in my opinion is Pohatu... BUT I don't even care, because all of the including Pohatu look sick! Well done
I follow tale for a while and would've hoped that you go over the toa revamps to explain some of the odd pieces like that livejacket! Just Genius! Great Video as always!
Giant sloths lived in caves Dug them out and used their massive clawed arms to grab onto things and slash at them So onua having long arms still makes sense.
I really like how the yellow parts in the Pohatu moc make the brown look a bit more on the reddish/orangey side, rather than the typical lego brown. And if I had to say something negative about the Takanuva design, I think it could use a smidge more gold here and there, maybe in the hands, feet, or ankles. I had the same issue with the original toy. Everything below the chest armor and shoulder pads were all white, making it look a little boring.
I do a less system art of mata rebuild, but they keep the older look in general and have better articulation. Currently only have Lewa and Tahu, but the others should be easy enough
I made a team of six Toa called the Toa Vapor. When building them, I challenged myself to build them around a Mata torso, since I have a lot and it's an under used piece. They're still built.
Lego could make a buttload of money relaunching Bioncle. A lot of us adults with disposable income would happily indulge our nostalgia.
If bionicle were to come back, I'd see Lego doing something in this style! The builder did amazing with these revamps!
I wish I could agree but most of these parts were available when Bionicle was around.

Pohatu stay winning with the coolest revamp of the series

The red one is John Bionicle. He's the most powerful one.

I love the usage of the non-lego elements in the design, the gali flower was so cute lmao
These all look so detailed and perfect! Imma go broke in a minute from getting the pieces needed 😂
Are there any instructions?
@@snowy9587 I think so, on rebrickable.

The techniques that Tale put into all of these builds, they're amazing! Imagine if they DID bring bionicle back. Literal heaven for meeeeeeeeee😍👍

But more expensive probably

6:50 notice he connects those life preservers with a hot dog!

These are amazing i'd love to see exactly how theyre built.
The life jackets were throwing me so bad. I've never seen anyone use those things in a MOC either.
And Takanuva's leg design with the minifig goggles !? How'd he come up with that? Genius
Lewa was always over power with that axe
12:02 The pistons on the legs are definitely inspired by the Bionicle: MOL movie. Because all the Toa Mata have them on the back of their legs
I follow tale for a while and would've hoped that you go over the toa revamps to explain some of the odd pieces like that livejacket! Just Genius!
Great Video as always!
Onua should be posed almost like a gorrila. Walking with his claws folded in like hes on his knuckles
Giant sloths lived in caves
Dug them out and used their massive clawed arms to grab onto things and slash at them
So onua having long arms still makes sense.
Best moms I've ever seen!
They all look incredible, especially Takanuva, but I think Gali and Lewa either need slightly longer legs or smaller heads to look perfect. 🙂
@9:20 the child-bearing hips on this Tahu, good heavens
Gali was my first Bionicle too!
This is awesome 🤩

8:15 You don’t want to be kicked in the grind area with him! 1 Kick means your area is gone… 😅
Gali looks so damn cool but takanuva mega all the others in terms of awesomeness

Love me some toa

I’m still trying to find a larger Toa mata model that doesn’t use cut axles😢
Are there any instruction panels on how to make these Toa Matas in these exact forms?
Lalam still has the best designs for the Toa Mata, especially Tahu and Kopaka.
9:34 XD
MOVE ALONG!
Also wow,3 minutes ago!?My new record!
No one cares, shut up
I wanna build these
Patu looks like a rugby player
Wana make em!
I need instructions, *now*
6 minuts
Close to my own 3 minutes
Pohatu looks HENCH
