    Another excellent video on this hot tent, thank you for creating and posting, you are the first reviewer that did not complain about leaking from a Pomoly tent, this is the one tent I have been looking at to purchase, your videos are entertaining and informative, again thank you and Merry Christmas.

      Thank you and glad that they can help in some way! I was nervous before buying because of all the leaking complaints but seems like it was just the first iterations. Like I mentioned my only issue is the fabric catching in the zips! Thanks for the comment and have a great Christmas! 🎄

    We bought the TC version of this tent. My wife committed to the first weekend of each month we will tent out no matter what the weather. Only thing we would have like to see changed is 2 way zipper on the end door to allow for a bit more "high" ventilation as our little stove, even dampened down gets it some warm, and a little more adjust ability to the canopy. We always wanted a "Baker style" tent and this little one has given us that experience. It is too small and too heavy for our canoeing trips, but we are having a ball with it during the cold season. Glad we got it.

      Nice! That sounds like a fun schedule and good times! Great ideas for ventilation! Hope you guys have a blast and thanks for jumping in the conversation!😎👊

    I really like the design. It fixes a lot of the things I didn’t like about the tipi hot tent I used to have.
    I’ve had that same zipper problem on several tents I’ve owned. But I usually buy budget tents…

      Maybe old school canvas is just the way to go, with big beefy toggles to batten down the hatches. Overall I definitely lean to freestanding, external pole tents now. In deep snow anything with a support pole, like the two on this tent, become so hard to support! Thanks for watching and jumping into the conversation!👊😎

    Ground sheet...use what from construction sites?
    Great video

      Thanks! Sorry I was not very clear on that. Since I did not want to buy the waterproof groundsheet or footprint that can be sold with the tent, I opted for a piece of what is called Tyvek, they sell it at home repair stores like Home Depot.. ir sometimes you can find scraps being thrown away around construction sites. If you ask the workers they will probably let you salvage some. Hope that helps.

    Got that one and the locomotive 20 as well, nice stuff; the locomotive 20 ...they are basically giving them away on amazon

      I need to pick up the locomotive, just looks cool!

      @@angryowloutdoors it is , as much as I like this one they both have their purpose. But this particular one pairs up really well with an inflatable matress like Naturehike (or any other brands) I`m so done with cots. So does the locomotive. Plenty of space left for stuff too. I use a reflective mat under the matress as an isolating device, works.

      @@quebecpatriot1874 Interesting… I only recently have tried cots and the only worthwhile one is a huge heavy one I bought that i put an inflatable on. Gotta pull in with the pulk or car camp!

      @@angryowloutdoors yeah, thing is I dont have a car so I think differently :) I hike with a heavy Backpack to my sites (several loads usually) and make a perma camp (June to start of hunting season, start of September, too many roaming dudes then) hence why i now use better stuff. I can link you to some if you want (no affiliations, its aliexpress)

    I like it…kinda like a Baker tent…kinda…

    • @angryowloutdoors
      @angryowloutdoors  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, it is a weird kind of hybrid, some things could be better some are really good, and some not so much! It really is the porch design that hooked me. I would like to get a true Baker at some point...so classic and so cool!

    • @angryowloutdoors
      @angryowloutdoors  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Have you used a Baker before? or know of a good brand?

      @@angryowloutdoors no I haven’t…Simon of “Simon, a bloke in the woods” actually made one…he has a series of videos here on TH-cam covering the design and step by step build. Then at least 3 when he’s using it in the field…really cool design!

      Hahah I see what you did there! I should have put a disclaimer…”No tents were harmed in the making of this film”!
