I wish there was a settings option to split it up. I like 3-click from the tee/fairway, but I can't putt worth a crap with it. I'd rather putt with the stick.

I time it in my head several times before I do a swing and yes use the audio cues and keep your eyes focused on the meter the muscle memory will take care of the rest, so long as you're not relying heavily on the visual cuz for me it makes my tempo a little slow sometimes, but I do like to at least watch it some because it's really important to time the start of your shot exactly.

Thanks for the info. But i have this weird issue with 3 click to where it is like it is not registering my first click after the hold. So I get no line for the swing path just the speed. Any idea,

On the training ground, I went to the bunkers where it will go 24 ft up to the green with a lob wedge, in the actual game play it will not clear 7ft with 3 click, but the swingers don't have that problem. The other grip is the putter meter it's to quick compered with the swingers.

This is very helpful for me to. The sound rhytm is why I disabled all the sounds except for the game sounds. What I can't tell is if the rhythm changes based off club type?

I can’t seem to get the hang of stick swing. I’ve practiced for many hours and sometimes I can get it ok and sometimes not. I’m not sure if it’s something that’ll eventually improve if I keep practicing or if I’m better off to just focus on the 3 click swing?

Any hints for putting with 3 click? Im unsure of the gray area percentages..is it 25, 50, 75, 100?
It literally tells you the percentage at the bottom of the circle tho?
works really well, if you are someone who suffers from stick driftism. 3-click will fix all of your problems.
I'm on PS4 and my controller is new, works with every game except 2k23 PGA. Can use left stick but since I'm lefty I've been using the right stick since launch but lately my right stick is not swinging the club. I pull down and player resets to start pos. I know is not my controller, any suggestions?
Good explanation of FULL swings even for Master but pitching & chipping is WAY. WAY faster and extremelly difficult to do the timming while putting is WAY slower, so beware that your will have to deal THREE very different timmings in a single match. Have you ever tried pitching & chipping with Legend difficulty?.....don't try this at home and go back to stick wing😉
best game elite players find the 3 clicker too difficult, none of them use it.
Im terrible with the stick .. just so inconsitant, but after trying the 3 click ive yet to seriously mess up a shot with it... it seems too easy are we considered noobs for using this?

You have helped me not hate this game lol I was so disliking it when I first bought it.
This could save my game. The swing timing thing on swing stick is just so random-seeming. And there's no shades of gray for difficulty. Time it perfectly down to the millisecond (time what I'm still not sure) or your ball goes sideways. They need to clean that up.

Someone on Reddit made a post about swing stick being pretty unusable for Xbox players due to the lack of response time between console and controller. Being on xbox, 3 click is the only way to be competitive in this game. Too many inconsistencies in tempo with xbox controllers, sucks cause its not the users fault.

It’s a mess for anyone once you get the slightest amount of stick drift on a controller lol.

My controller has no drift on the right stick sat for a couple days with it and I just could not be consistent tried calibration and it was just awful soon as I swapped to 3 click and got the rhythm down my game improved instantly still shank shots but it's so much easier and that's playing on sculptor level 30
@@AverageKurtCookstruthfully.. it’s WAY harder lmao once you get the timing of swing stick..it’s not hard and it’s far more forgiving. 3 click is so ridiculously unforgiving.

Yeah, I have found that people who are frustrated at the swing stick usually land on using 3-click.

It's put path, by far ir increases the white area on the meter.

Just worth consideration with the "3 click is way easier" argument. 1) Sure, it's a reactionary input. 2) you play swing stick with 1/3 of the ui disabled. So of course partials are easier on 3C. You have no visual queues for partials on SS.
Sure, but for me personally, if I play on master swing stick with everything turned on, I'm not shooting -67 in a tournament.
I agree they need to make Master the default difficulty on ranked games for either swing style.

I was a 2/3 (2 or 3) click guy in Tiger Woods 09 on PS2, but I can't really see where the ball actually goes here.

Swing stick is harder to stay consistent, but for me, it better represents a real golf swing and how easy it is to mess up 😂😅

Question... Can you use 3 clicks while playing on local games with friends. I've tried and doesn't work for me.
Only the person that hosted the game can use it.
The host can set what swing methods are allowed. I play 3 click all the time with a buddy that hosts.

On PC, hold shift. There are two things you can adjust. One is your left click to raise or lower the arc of flight and or fade right and left. Right click is to give the ball front spin or back spin.

There’s a lag between hitting the button and it actually registering the button press.
Will you be getting EAs PGA Tour 23 and judging the three click mechanics? The last golf game I purchased was The Golf Club and I didn't like that. The last golf game I enjoyed was on my Sega Genesis. I see 2Ks PGA tour 23 has a different three click mechanic and I'm curious to see how EA will handle it.

After trying the stick swing for around 2 months and seeing no improvement, I started 3 click and omg what a difference. Mastered it in less than 30 mins

I use 3 click for everything except putting. As inconvenient as it is I can’t stand putting with 3 click. I miss way harder than I do on swing stick.

You can just change it in settings

Three click has made me a god. I’m currently rank 500th in the world and going up very quickly. I’m almost feel like I’m cheating.

I am trying the 3-click swing right now, and what I am seeing is you have to start your second and 3rd click in the gray area, not in the yellow.
I swear I click first for power then 2nd click never registers … and swing style Idky but can’t ever be consistent! Always slow always f ed

HB ruined ranked by allowing this to be played against stick players, as soon as you get up to 6-700 points then just about every game is against 3 click and they all say it's easier

They ruined the game with 3 click , it’s too easy and doesn’t feel realistic. It’s not as fun to use as the swing stick . They should’ve made separate ranked modes for three stick and swing stick or something they messed up with that one .

yeah the micro stutters make 3 click very annoying and hard to time. still a better option than swing stick for me at least
@@glhf6678I had that issue until I realize I had the game for regular Xbox and not current gen. Once I got the current gen edition my freezes and stutters went away
It's funny when. The swing sick for life guys are now switching and acting like they have it down. It's been out for a few months u finally put down the lame stick and are just learning your new toy and It sounds like it I only have as long as the games been out with it and play -10 any course on x2,3 min multiplier lol at LEAST U REALIZEd it was lame using the old way js
