Great video! Could you do a video about Desmond trufant and why quarterbacks hardly throw his way? He has had 7 total passes attempted on him the entire season!
this is one of; or maybe the greatest football commentary videos I have ever seen. I cannot wait till season starts and I can watch your videos. great job man. sincerely, great job! where does your knowledge come from? where did you play your ball? did you Coach? seriously this video was so good, it left me with so many questions.
GREAT great vid! Its real hard trying to study receivers on sundays with the camera being so ball oriented, so thanks. Also your analysis n breakdown was ON POINT 👌
Nice breakdown on the press techniques. From a DB perspective you have to work that mirror technique with your feet so that you can maintain lateral position on the receiver. Once he commits to a direction outside the framework of your cylinder work the off hand jam and open your hips to the receiver. That's what Trufant did the example you showed.
I love you videos. I'd be interesting to see a breakdown of the Broncos offensive issues. I'd like to know more about how that offense is struggling and what they could do to fix it.
Great analysis. Exactly how the pats made their comeback. Short throws to James White. Great route running by the WRs with basically no YAC. Oh yeah and the GOAT Tom Brady!
Much respect for your NFL football IQ. You pretty much predicted how ATL Falcons would eventually earn the L to the Patriots in SB-LI. It is possible that BB studied the Falcons D and DBs as you did. You could possibly make it as a NFL scout. BB is known for converting talented hungry scouts that earn their way to OC or DC. As he did the same.
Just started watching your videos and I really like how you break everything down and go into detail. Could you pls do a video on the Atlanta Falcons defense this year on how they've improved with Dan Quinn as their HC, but Quinn was ex seahwaks defensive cordinator and I started noticing that he has applied the same concept in Falcons defense. Cover 1, cover 3, press cover 1 with a robber etc. seeing the same concept as the seahwawks defense before he left and now it is paying dividends.
+MrFlpGaming Obviously, under a new coach your team won't thrive in one season. It's a process and if you watched last year beginning for the Falcons they had a real good start coming out season. And if you watched the defense they showed a lot of similarities to Seahawks D obviously cause Dan Quinn was also under the Seahawks before. So that is why I wanted to see some videos related. I never assumed he liked the Falcons and I never said that at all in my comment if you read the whole thing. Nor do I care that the Falcons are at the bottom of the league cause I'm not a a Falcon fan either.
just so you know, receivers, if they know they're not the 1st or 2nd option, will not give their best move off the ball. Often on some pass plays where you're sure its not coming to you, you just give a weak move in order to make the CB think he knows you or has got you down, but in fact, you're just leading him to think that. In that slant route at the 4:30 mark you went thru, watch the QB. He wasn't even looking in OBs direction. Now, it doesn't necessarily mean he wasn't the 1st/2nd option either. It could mean the QB saw the matchup, and didn't even bother looking at OB.
Eli Manning missed the check down at 4:23 missed Randle 10:12 and 5:53 Donell at 5:53 missed Vereen at 6:34,7:20,8:34.10:12, 10:40 ,10:52.11:08 . Parker so open at 9:57 critical misses that resulted in a loss to the Falcons this game.
How wasnt randle open at 5:53 ? Check downs are not knitpicking 7 opportunities to get easy yardage.Giants lost this game because the offense didnt capitalize .
Bro, where was you when I was in high school? This is an excellent way to get mental reps and improve your game by studying in depth what the pro's do. Cause most 16-year-olds don't really know what to look for when it comes to emulating the best.
9:12 why is Eli throwing the ball over there anyways? It's cover 3 but the safety had his eye on Odell the whole time. He should have thrown it to the other side
He threw it right to the sideline and besides the safety was mid deep if beckham had a little more separation from the corner that would've been a catch.
Did you not listen to what the guy was saying in the video he panicked had his eye on odell not the ball that is the whole point of why he threw it to him
+shortstackJMD96 and if you havent noticed plays can mess up sometimes though I do agree I actually think eli should have thrown it to the halfback that one
Brett wonderful job man. I would like to hear a lot from you this coming up season. However on the 67yrd long Beckham TD, I felt that the LBs didnt get deep enough in the zone. After all they are playing Eli Manning and not an efficient running QB.
How were you able to get full field view video like this? ABC, NBC, fox etc... all of their cameras zoom and pan to the ball at the snap count! thanks.
Great breakdown. Alford did a really good job considering Odell is a top 5 WR. That long pass play wasnt on Alford. He was playing out side leverage in the cover 3. Ricardo Allen (the FS) took a bad angle. Overall he played a good game. He wasnt even targeted in week 1 or week 3.
Alfrod played a hell of a game. yes the technical mistakes, but he has the makeup speed and agility to contest every throw. the big TD came vs zone where Eli made a great throw to beat the LB's and the safety took a poor angle allowing for the big play. Alford was on a deep zone and had to respect the possible wheel route by the slot receiver and it was up to the LB's and safety to defend the inside. odell and eli made some great plays vs tight coverage by Alford, but no big plays.
It’s not always. There’s nothing that says the strong side should be the right side, I think it’s just a natural tendency for coaches and it also depends what hash mark the ball is placed at on the field.
We should honestly like Trufant follow receivers. I love Alfrod and he's good, but he's not Trufant. I know it goes against the scheme, but it would've made this game a lot less stressful I think.
ridiculously good breakdown
bravo
What a great breakdown. Odell is the man and so is his QB, Eli Manning.
So glad I found this channel! I love the analysis. Keep it up!
Dude I love how detailed you were in this video, I loved how your so spot on with which hand the CB should strike with, depending on the release.
+Brett Kollmann I'm looking to play corner one day. Nice breakdown this gives me something to learn from.
How did it go? Playing any corner? :)
What's your football background? Former player? Former coach? Your knowledge is amazing
Philip Champion watch more videos. He talks about it.
@@fishook4007 can you just summarize for me please
Great video! Could you do a video about Desmond trufant and why quarterbacks hardly throw his way? He has had 7 total passes attempted on him the entire season!
+dabeast They don't target him because people flat out aren't open. He's been lights out.
+Brett Kollmann love the vid !!! Do more defensive ends!
+Brett Kollmann why isn't Beasley getting the production is it because he isn't using that swim move ?
+Brett Kollmann could you PLEASE do a video on Julian Edelman
look at what edleman did to him in the superbowl. Carved him like a turkey.
Can you do a desmond trufant video? I'd love to see a breakdown of him
this is one of; or maybe the greatest football commentary videos I have ever seen. I cannot wait till season starts and I can watch your videos. great job man. sincerely, great job! where does your knowledge come from? where did you play your ball? did you Coach? seriously this video was so good, it left me with so many questions.
Man i wish you put out more videos these are just great and awesome thanks
Great video, great teaching points for young corners & receivers!
GREAT great vid! Its real hard trying to study receivers on sundays with the camera being so ball oriented, so thanks. Also your analysis n breakdown was ON POINT 👌
I love these videos man, I really wish you would do more.
Nice breakdown on the press techniques. From a DB perspective you have to work that mirror technique with your feet so that you can maintain lateral position on the receiver. If u can continually bring these type breakdowns then i subscribe for sure Brett !!!!
Man this was too dope...could a die hard falcon get a Julio breakdown? You know you want to. Good work though don't disappear come next season
I love you videos. I'd be interesting to see a breakdown of the Broncos offensive issues. I'd like to know more about how that offense is struggling and what they could do to fix it.
Great stuff man! I'd like to see one breaking down a safety
I've been looking for this type of content for a long time thank you
You need to make more vids... this was extremely helpful
Excellent analysis and breakdown 👌
loved it again!!! hoping for more content soon :)
@9:57 the slot receiver on the opposite side was wide open
awesome stuff. how'd you gain so much insight to the game. did you play/coach/or just have an affinity for knowing how/why football works?
I love your work Brad! You should be in the nfl
Great analysis. Exactly how the pats made their comeback. Short throws to James White. Great route running by the WRs with basically no YAC. Oh yeah and the GOAT Tom Brady!
zombie2pac LOL What about him?
Much respect for your NFL football IQ. You pretty much predicted how ATL Falcons would eventually earn the L to the Patriots in SB-LI. It is possible that BB studied the Falcons D and DBs as you did. You could possibly make it as a NFL scout. BB is known for converting talented hungry scouts that earn their way to OC or DC. As he did the same.
Why not also breakdown Julio Jones on the same game?
Any chance you'll look at doing a breakdown of Sterling Shepard and OBJ?
The Patriots damn sure followed this blueprint on how to attack ATL's D in the 2nd half of the SB.
Terrific work as usual. Really respect your breakdowns.
Maybe Panthers CB Josh Norman next, is he really as good as he seems?
Do another one on Odell !!
Dude this is excellent stuff, same stuff I was taught by my college db coach.
Just started watching your videos and I really like how you break everything down and go into detail. They are still bottom half of the league... Also why do you assume that he likes anything with the Falcons.
+MrFlpGaming Obviously, under a new coach your team won't thrive in one season. It's a process and if you watched last year beginning for the Falcons they had a real good start coming out season. Could you imagine if the Giants had a more balanced offense with consistency at the RB position and another great receiving threat like the Lions...
just so you know, receivers, if they know they're not the 1st or 2nd option, will not give their best move off the ball. Often on some pass plays where you're sure its not coming to you, you just give a weak move in order to make the CB think he knows you or has got you down, but in fact, you're just leading him to think that.

interesting video. I enjoy watching elite receivers run routes. Consider making your next video on another superstar receiver.
Moss 84 lol what??
How wasnt randle open at 5:53 ? Check downs are not knitpicking 7 opportunities to get easy yardage.Giants lost this game because the offense didnt capitalize .
Moss 84 look at 1)the chains and 2) the positioning of the middle linebacker and corner
There’s a reason it’s called a checkdown, lmao. It’s not meant to be a QBs primary read; every example here is nitpicking
I'm working my way through all your videos and they've each been great man.
Where did you learn all this stuff?
Bro, where was you when I was in high school? This is an excellent way to get mental reps and improve your game by studying in depth what the pro's do. Cause most 16-year-olds don't really know what to look for when it comes to emulating the best.
0:10 - PLEASE TELL ME THIS KIND OF TACKLE IS BANNED? A player landing badly from this could easily break his neck. Grotesque.
Great video! plz make more on odell
Could you do a breakdown on Winston vs your team from week 3?
Can you do film study on matt judon defensive end /outside linebacker out of Grand Valley State University in this year's draft.
Can you do Kevin Johnson of the Texans?
do one for Kevin Johnson. he looked good against the Bangles if I remember correctly.
A video about beasts Dallas have on their offensive lines or the linebackers New England got would be great
9:12 why is Eli throwing the ball over there anyways? It's cover 3 but the safety had his eye on Odell the whole time. He should have thrown it to the other side
*Cover 1
He threw it right to the sideline and besides the safety was mid deep if beckham had a little more separation from the corner that would've been a catch.
+Sean Rahman the safety was playing Odell, so he was double covered. I'm saying he could've throw in other side.
Did you not listen to what the guy was saying in the video he panicked had his eye on odell not the ball that is the whole point of why he threw it to him
+shortstackJMD96 and if you havent noticed plays can mess up sometimes though I do agree I actually think eli should have thrown it to the halfback that one

great video can you do an alarm Cooper video
Id love to see a video of you analyzing the bengals. They are looking good but unproven.
How were you able to get full field view video like this? ABC, NBC, fox etc... all of their cameras zoom and pan to the ball at the snap count! thanks.

This my be stupid, but could you do a video on why Revis is the CB GOAT? Or rather, your favorite? Love the videos, exceptional stuff man
How do you know that he's his Favortie??????

Any other channels or ppl put up vids like this specifically for db and will u post more vids?
+Brett Kollmann could you do a Vernon Hargreaves iii vid?
Amazing analysis man. An analysis of Julio Jones or C.J Mosley would be awesome.
Hey Brett, is there any way you can re-upload Episode 11 featuring Todd Gurley and the Rams? I wanted to show it to a friend but video is deleted.

Can you do one of Deandre Hopkins he's been too good this year
fantastic video!
Please do an other Randy Gregory video vs the Giants!
Alfrod played a hell of a game. yes the technical mistakes, but he has the makeup speed and agility to contest every throw. the big TD came vs zone where Eli made a great throw to beat the LB's and the safety took a poor angle allowing for the big play. PLEASE DO EMMANUEL SANDERS VS THE STEELERS ON DECEMBER 21 2015 SOON PLEASE
Do aaron donald and/or khalil mack!
Can you do Brady next?
Im from New Zealand. Can someone in America kindly tell me why the srongside is usually the right hand side of the offensive formation ?
The linemen on that side are typically bigger beefier and stronger which helps in the run game. Thus strong side.
@@fishook4007 but why usually on the right ?
It’s not always. There’s nothing that says the strong side should be the right side, I think it’s just a natural tendency for coaches and it also depends what hash mark the ball is placed at on the field.
Thank you sir.
great video
Awesome video! I'll only subscribe if you make more videos like these!
Just kidding. I subscribed already :P
Russell Wilson on why they struggle in the first have of games due to conservative play and why he's successful when they open up the offense for him.
Awesome
49k subs? That's not right!
Do Gronk next or Dion Lewis
Trufant is underrated
"As long as he gets a quarterback who can give him the ball," *gets Baker Mayfield* 💔🤢
Sophomore slump. Also dude had a shit coach
I want to see a video on why Malcolm Butler was able to pretty much stop obj.Like, did he do that pretty much no one else could
how did*
I'm surprised no one has commented about the first catch that went for a td. Which was McCourtys fault for taking a horrible angle.
+hi shut up
josh norman did
Señor Sandwich De Mojon Yeah but he didn't finish it... Obj vs Norman
Best tandem in the nfl..Madden needs to fix Alford's 73 overall cuz he's a lot better than dat
Lol when the defense is bottom half of the league, no they don't...
+MrFlpGaming 16 lol..is not bottom half dumbass..n the Falcons problem on defense is the front 7 dumbass..must b a giants fan.
+Dutch Hopkinson lol ok kiddo. It's past your bed time 😂
+MrFlpGaming It's past your bedtime kiddo..your so funny I forgot to laugh.
Dude. Can you do one of these for Reuben Randle?
We should honestly like Trufant follow receivers. I love Alfrod and he's good, but he's not Trufant. I know it goes against the scheme, but it would've made this game a lot less stressful I think.
i dont think he caught one ball on trufant all game, all his catches were on alford or adams.
