A song about suicide, sang from the bottom of the heart. The mannequins are the people nowadays that mostly wear a mask and pretend to care about each other.

This song touched me and I couldn't figure out why, now I know. "Please don't say goodbye" now makes sense in the context of the other lyrics which obviously describe the experience of depression.
I was brokenhearted that Romania, Montenegro and especially Georgia failed to qualify. ;( I was also really sad for my homecountry, Poland and for Latvia even.
on the other hand i was really happy and delighted for Denmark, The Netherlands and Serbia qualify. I also was a little bit happy for Norway, Ukraine and Australia maybe. I didn't get Sweden, Slovenia, Hungary and Moldova (good song, but there were better ones) in final. Moldova, Slovenia and Sweden instead of Georgia, Montenegro, or Romania - Europe, please... I will never understand that

Well, it's Eurovision, so what did you expect? :) It's not the first good song not to pass into the final (or to win) and likely not the last either.
I'm so sad for them because they brought Romania's first NQ. Everyone from our delegation consider our non-qualification unfair because many people from Italy, Germany couldn't vote for us. I've heard that TVR even is considering to not participate next year
We were 4 points behind hungary..(10th place in SF2)...so after all that votes in Italy and Germany would have been helpful for qualification

This song isn't boring,it has many layers,emotion,subtle passages like with the cello,it has great powerful passages, a good lead-singer, it sounds internationally>>>>Good song,one of the best this year,so much better than most of the finalists.
Really, Europe, why can't you see the beauty that surrounds you everywhere? I mean, this song had to be in the final, but sadly it wasn't even though it has everything - strong singer, nice message, a bit of ballad and rock'n roll - it's just pure magic. One of my favourites in 2018.

Why Serbian flag?
I won't blame it on another country, even if we kniw it was a weak semi-final. I won't blame the other songs, even if there were a few fast-food songs that didn't deserve their place in the grand final. But it is painful for my country, Romania, losing such a beautiful record in such an injust way. Okay, I know pop dominates here, but Cristina's vocals were skyhigh and the message was a deep one. It was such an outstanding staging and the composition of our song was excellent. Anyway, we have to learn how to lose. At least, we're HUMANS and, sometimes, we have to say GOODBYE, but come back and take what we deserve. Romania deserve much more, may God bless everyone! Hope we come back in the grand final next year with a huge success! I really can't understand why this song was so painfully underrated, but I think that their kind of art may not be everyone's taste. Anyway, we are a country that wrote history in the contest and we shall show you how far we'll go! I wish the best of luck and succes to each of the grand finalists and hope we'll hear about our Humans again!

Alin Petrus La un moment dat ne-am inverzit la pariuri, apoi ne-am inrosit iar. Nu inteleg de ce suntem vazuti asa prost, piesa e chiar buna si sincer, cred ca am avut cel mai bun live in seara asta. Sau cel putin, printre cele mai bune prestatii d.p.d.v vocal, avand in vedere ca unii au falsat... ma rog. Ar trebui sa ne calificam. Tinem pumnii stransi! ❤
Eu zic ca e imposibil sa nu ne calificam au fost din 18 piese cel putin 12 mult mai slabe
Alin Petrus De obicei, juriul nu ne apreciaza. Asa a fost in fiecare an. Chiar daca Cristina are vocea foarte buna, cine stie ce "invarteli" se fac acolo.
Norvegia nu-mi place absolut deloc! Da, Rybak face show, e carismatic, dar ma asteptam la ceva mai mult din partea lui, avand in vedere ca a castigat o data ESC-ul. Piesa mi se pare slabuta.
Mi-a placut Ucraina si Danemarca, in rest... nimic! Polonezii au falsat la greu, Rusia s-a auzit groaznic, dar ma asteptam la asta. Dar ti-am spus, rusii cred ca se califica, ca de fiecare data, indiferent de piesa.
Cat despre anul trecut, am avut noroc cu Yodel it pentru ca a fost altceva, am adus oarecum ceva mai nou si a prins la public, plus ca Ilinca a reusit sa cucereasca multa lume prin carisma ei.
Pentru mine rămâne să fie cel mai bun cântec din anul acesta. Am votat 5 ori!! Salut din Rusia❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Seriously - and without any intention to offend you - maybe you are too young and haven't listened to enough good music, but this song doesn't bring anything new or special, it has been already composed a lot (and better) music in the same style, long time ago. That's why almost nobody was impressed.
And not least, it must be considered that Eurovision has a different specific, that this song does not fit at all.

It was qualitative, but it was simply not for Eurovision. I try to see beyond the appearances and I found a story in this song, that's why I got so attached to it. You may not get me, and that's okay. I only ask for respect and thank you for sharing it :) It's painful not to qualify, but I think the best is yet to come!😀

Ori suntem noi surzi, ori cineva se ia dupa Traistariu... Orice melodie are refren btw, inclusiv asta. Daca nu te-ai prins care e, mai asculta melodia de vreo 100 de ori si poate-ti dai seama. Culmea, mai e si destul de zgomotos refrenul. :)

Eu zic ca melodia a avut un show cat se poate de bun si foarte inteligent gandit, de bun gust, pentru a transmite cat mai bine mesajul piesei, iti dai seama ca nu puteam sa avem un show cu artificii, dansatori si flacari cu 10000 de luminite diferite pe acolo, pentru ca nu se potriveste cu starea si mesajul piesei pt ca e unul profund, daca la asta te referi cand spui show

This song was clearly my favourite from the second semifinals and I really didn't want you to say goodbye to this year's contest! The song actually reminded me of Bonnie Tyler and also some songs by Heart and that was a very good thing. It was also very refreshing to hear some well done arrangements in ESC2018. I hope to hear more from this band.

Nu stiu pe ce criterii s-a facut jurizare in mod real, dar ma intreb cum e posibil ca Humans sa se intoarca acasa iar solista din Australia sa ramana in concurs? Goodbye este superioara multor piese din concurs care vor aparea in finala. Sunt mahnita ca din nou s-a comis o mare nedreptate! Oricum, ceea ce ramane de necontestat este vocea Cristinei care acum a rasunat in toata Europa si asta ii va deschide un drum meritat in muzica! Felicitari, indiferent de rezultatul de aseara!
