You know lately I haven't liked Sonny's story lines.. Oh, man but how I love me some Maurice Bernard!! He is such a great actor!!! Thank you so much for these great interviews, which if not for you we'd never see this side of these actors. :))
With some actors, you really see a difference in their character and vice versa, but with Maurice, he just IS Sonny. I can't imagine him NOT being Sonny. Or Sonny not being him. Ya know?

You were right about Maurice, remember Vanessa Marcil saying in the interview, that when she started on GH Maurice told her he expected a lot from her. She really felt when she left that he elevated her ability as an actress...
Thank you so much for doing these interviews. Please please please interview Tristan and Finola. I grew up watching the Scorpio family in jr high/high school and absolutely fell in love with them. Recently I watched the Asian Quarter storyline on yt and couldn't believe how amazing you were at 6/7 yrs old, I mean you nailed it and were so cute and funny. While i'm sad your leaving I very much look forward to following all your future projects and wish you continued success in all you do.
It's weird 'cause Steve Burton is SO much different than Jason, and Maurice seems like he's not much different than Sonny, at least in mannerisms and stuff..
Loooooooooooooooooove him! If I ever run into him somewhere like an airport, I'm going to freak the fuck out!! No boys in the bedroom? That's how I knoe he's Hispanic lol. All hispanic fathers have that rule regardless of how old you get, unless it's already your husband.
i was watching old gh with sonny and he has aged really well, but no matter how long i see sonny i still see him as nico when he was on all my children

I don't think the characters of Sonny and Jason have been as interesting this past decade as they could have been - it's like they have been stuck in a rut ever since the show made them the center, you know? I'm very interested with the addition of Roger Howarth's Todd and how it will up their game as characters. Todd, like Luke Spencer, was always something of an outsider which is why he maintained the charisma. Sonny and Jason somehow became domesticated and have therefore become stale.
Nooooooo! Please!! No more Brenda! Her last come back was such a disappointment! I post on the ABC GH mrssage boards. I remember everyone, myself included, we were so excited when we heard she was coming back. Only a day or two after she was back. . .total mood change about her! She just doesn't have the same fire she used to have! She used to have this spark! This presence! Now it's like Brenda on downers or something. I'm sorry, but it's just the truth. :(
Favorite! Noticed how Maurice and Steve still mentioned Michael Sutton. That was one of the best storylines ever.

I'm sure Maurice is a fine human being but that doesn't make him a great actor...sorry. I'm a good person but I'd probably be a lousy actor too!
