I'm likely not going to get voluntold for broadening assignments seeing as I'm already on a special assignment, but then again, I'm a relatively new E5, so that might change once I hit my E6. I figured that I ought to do my due dilligence, even if this path isn't in the future plans. Appreciate the video and the info, SFC
I'm a E4 so I like hearing about this ahead of time. Some of my SGTs told me if you volunteer to go recruiting you get to pick where you go to some extent. Or at least have some sway. But if you get voluntold then you get put wherever they choose. Any truth to this?
You definitely have more of a say when you volunteer because you include a map in your packet! When you get voluntold they put you to where they need, but still consider what you want!

Hw/wt was the second day for us, then a day or so after ACFT. You recycle for academic reasoning. Pretty sure you get kicked out with it was ACFT and height and weight.

Small world! You should’ve looked at recruit the recruiter! It’s a volunteer packet you send up to Fort Knox.

Nope! If you’re at fort Knox, you can stay at your house. Just don’t be late!
