People actually went to school with him, they said he was nice but refused to touch anyone non North Korean
they were able to study in switzerland probably because it’s a neutral country and also because they have connections (the children of the supreme leader + they have money).
They went under false names so their classmates didn't know who they were. As for the school... well, they received a very "generous donation" like most schools do. Only in this case, it was less because the students were problem children who couldn't be arsed to study enough to pass their classes so much as the school needed to "forget" who they really were

Only a fool would believe Yo Jong has the best interest of the NK people in mind. Look at how she was raised. The fact that she is able to wield so much power and has the implicit trust of her brother speaks volumes, especially in a male dominated sphere of influence.

I think of anything, Un is the one that has a soft side. He seems to not _want_ to be evil, but also has a hard time seeing a way out of his role, without causing an uprising when the people find out the truth of what they've been subjected to. He seems, like many who miss out on normal childhood, to be like a big child himself. I think he uses her to play bad cop, and in turn, making himself more loved by the people. Nothing to me, about his sister, says she wants peace and democracy. She doesn't get the luxury of having these aspirations, trying to wrest power in the dictatorship. She has to act in alignment with the regime.
